Cooper Pro Control tires are better than I expected . I’m a Michelin Guy through and through , but these Coopers are almost as good as Michelin’s Defender , and they cost a lot less . Grip is really good, especially in the rain . I don’t drive my F150 2WD in the snow , sooo … The only thing I don’t like about the Coopers is , Directional Stability . They kinda wander a bit . But, that’s not a big deal to me , especially since they are sooo good in the corners and under braking . I’m impressed , I really am . I wasn’t expecting them to be as good as they are , especially for the price .

Replaced the OEM Continentals. We had to replace 6 Contis in less than 18 months. They are NOT on their recall list. All but one failed @ highway speed, de-lamination just under the inner liner. Coppers are outstanding! Good in the mountains. Excellent wet traction in rural N Florida. I plan to replace with same when required.

Best tire I have ever owned! I am 57 and have never had a tire meet all my expectations as these. Softens bumps and road noise, wet road traction and no hydroplaning, cornering sidewall strength, great looks, and overall strength and stability. Awesome tire! Will buy again and recommend to friends and family.

OEM tires were Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport AS, 45,000 miles driven. The first slick roads of Michigan in November 2023 showed a severe decline in grip/stopping performance, prompting a search for new tires before the weather turned snowy. Using Tire Rack’s testing information and customer reviews, I found the Made In USA Cooper ProControl. Tire Rack’s testing results and price, plus the Cooper Rebate made the decision easy. In wet and dry conditions, these tires feel very good and are not noisy. Tire Rack had not done snow conditions testing with the ProControls, but based on all other test results I inferred the tire would perform well in the snow - and they do! January 12th, 2024 produced wicked winter conditions and the Subaru Outback was solid as a rock, great grip and stopping power. I also put a new set of Cooper ProControl tires on my 2012 Toyota Avalon Limited - I recommend these tires and the Outstanding Customer Service from Tire Rack.

These tires do very well in the rain and snow. I bought these before there were many reviews on them other than the preliminary TireRack test results. The wet traction is definitely very good with these tires, but as reviews of snow performance did not yet exist, I was concerned about snow performance. After one winter with these on my car, I have to say that they have exceeded expectations. I have never had one of the highest end all-weather tires like the Michelin CrossClimate 2, but as for the tires that I have had, including some with the extreme weather mountain logo, these are noticeably a step up.

One thing worth mentioning is that the ride was a bit rough for the first 500 miles or so, but the Cooper website said that this is normal, and so I trusted them and continued to drive on them. They definitely got smoother over time.

Tire Rack is very easy to work with. Shipped to the right spot very fast. My mechanic suggested this route and he was right again.
These tires are great. Quiet, responsive, great ride and excellent in snow.

Only have about 1,000 miles on them, but so far seems a little louder and a bit firmer riding than my General Grabber HTS60s, but nice on the highway, good cornering, and positive braking on wet and dry pavement.

I am driving my first SUV, prior cars have been mostly sports sedans. I bought the Mazda CX-9 because of the reviews that stated it was a SUV that drove with very sporty characteristics. The OEM Bridgestone Ecopia tires were disappointing, not the traction or handling I was looking for. I have about 500 miles on the new Cooper Procontrol tires and am very happy with them. They provide much more confidence in pushing the CX-9 harder in turns and driving in a touring style on back roads. Their dry performance was a definite improvement over the OEM tires. The real reason I was prompted to get back to Tirerack and provide this review was the performance the tires exhibited in the rain over the past couple of days. On both highway and side road driving in slick wind and rainy conditions. these tires excelled! I like to be an informed shopper when it comes to tires, but to be honest, I typically presume the tires are going to work, and I don't really pay attention to them once they are on my car. But the huge increase in my Mazda's performance in these wet conditions jumped out at me. The car maintained excellent traction and maneuverability while driving in the wind and rain and convinced me I had made an outstanding choice with the Coopers! I am very satisfied, and the fact that the tires are made in the USA doesn't hurt either!

TIRES are great. Smooth, quiet & very comfortable. installed in early June so just about 3 months with 4000 miles on them. No snow yet, but great in the heavy summer rain storms. I did have to bring them back to the shop to be re-balanced because there was excessive vibration at 60 MPH and above. Was not happy about that, much, much better now. I will have them rotated at 6500 miles & then see if the balancing is ok or needs to be done again. I have had many sets of cooper tires on my cars in the past, never had any issues with any of them.

The Cooper tires seem to have improved the handling and smoothed the ride in my Honda CRV. I would recommend these tires and would buy again.

I have been a fan of Cooper Tires for many years and have used them exclusively. The new Pro Control tires take the previous CS5's to a new level. Ride quality seems to be a bit softer and smoother for the RAV4 SUV. Wet/dry traction is excellent and fairly equal, maybe a bit better when wet, as per usual Cooper characteristics. Have no information on heavy snow because my Massachusetts town removes the snow before it accumulates. Light snow exhibits very decent traction, better than the earlier CS5's. Cornering is positive and predictable. High speed stability is excellent! Overall handling is about the same as the previous CS5's. Tread-wear will be discussed later. I only got about 35,000 from the CS5's so I'm hoping to get much better tread-wear with the Pro Control's. I don't think there's abetter tire than the Pro Control and certainly not at this price!

Very good all around tire. The tires are very compatible with our vehicle. The vehicle handles well and has all the traction required in our changing weather. The tires have minimal wear considering the miles on them. We have run Coopers on our vehicles for over 40 years and have always been satisfied with their performance.

Initial thoughts are favorable. Only 460 miles so far, but these are quiet at highway speeds. Great wet and dry traction. Purchased based on other reports and they are American made. The tires I replaced managed 105,000 miles before reaching the wear bands…I’m hopeful these Coopers can get close to matching that distance.
