These tires came with the car and surprisingly had great dry traction and decent wet reaction for being a low rolling resistant tire. The stability and predictability were great and the ride quality was average. The tire life is terrible though as these were rotated every 5k miles and are now at 4/32 after 24k miles.

These tires are the OEM fitment for my car. My first impression of these tires was that they were quiet, had OK grip levels for normal driving and had dull response - to this day, my opinion hasn't changed. I understand Mitsubishi chose an absurd tire size in order to maximize MPG, but having seat time with a car wearing Bridgestone RE92's, the turn in is mushy, even at 40 PSI, and the tires howl a lot before losing traction.

Speaking of traction, there isn't much. Lateral bite is very strong, assuring you they'll deliver in a panic braking situation - longitudinal traction is another story. These tires aren't dangerous by any stretch of the imagination, even in 5 degree freezing cold winter nights, but for someone who has a heartbeat for racing, they'll be disappointed.

My car also has a very conservative suspension tune, designed for countries like Thailand where many roads are poorly paved, or gravel or dirt. I'll be changing my springs and sway bars soon, to see if the soft suspension settings are the bigger culprit to the car's poor quality of handling.

These tires also don't cut through deep snow very well - or my car's 1,950lb weight is to blame. But they'll get you home in one piece. If 165-65R14 is your only choice, stick with the Potenzas. You'll be happier in the long run.

These are the OEM tires on my 2020 Toyota Corolla Hatchback SE that I bought new in June of 2020. 25000 miles and nearly 2 years later, the tread is down to 3/32 in the front and slightly less than 4/32 in the rear. Rotated regularly at the dealer and pressure always maintained. Simply put, these tires will wear out pretty quickly. That's my biggest complaint with these tires. In corners, they always felt a bit "floaty" and not solidly planted to the pavement, although actual grip isn't horrible. On wet roads, this behavior was even worse, and definitely did not inspire confidence. Ride comfort is decent, and I never thought they were excessively noisy. Never drove in snow or ice with these, so can't make a judgement there.

In my opinion, this tire is a fair to poor performer with unacceptable tread life for the price. My recommendation is simple: pick another tire. You would have a hard time going wrong with just about anything else.

Enasaves came with my 2021 Toyota Corolla and I enjoy them. Purchased new in Nov 2021 with 0 miles I now have 21,500 uneventful miles on this original set of 4. They run in a warm climate, have been rotated 3 times and are wearing well. I find these quiet too so I wanted to stay with these when I need to replace but the cost of just the uninstalled is $205 to $215 each and that is a bit much. I will have to shop, however, do feel I could stay with these because I am very impressed.

Good tired! Holds the road and rides well.

These are an okay tire at best. Good cheap factory tire for the mitsubishi mirage. Defiantly will never run another set unless they completely redesign the tread. These tires on my 2018 mirage channel next to no water, the entire design is small, no water outlets or channels. 27k miles in and the tires are probably 1/2 life but I am not happy with them. Living in florida you need a good wet weather tire, and these are not them, they are only okay wet weather tires.

They are okay in the dry and quite enough. The main problem is the handling in the wet. It's downright dangerous on Florida roads. I'd spin the tires and slide if the roads were anything but bone dry. Also, I only got 29,100 miles out them. The general gmax-05's are only slightly louder, but are way safer in the the wet and handle so much better. I'd never consider buying these dunlops again.

OEM equipment on the Mirage, and quickly swapped them for my set of 175/70/13 General Altimax RT43s mounted on Civic VX wheels.

The EnaSaves definitely show they're purpose-built for low rolling resistance, but that's about it. Horrible handling, horrible wet traction. Way too much sidewall roll in corners. They do ride smooth and quiet, though. Would never buy them. Barely used them and the tires and wheels are up on Craigslist.

Below average wet handling.
Average winter light snow handling.
Slightly below average noise and comfort.
Unacceptable tread life. I have 10900 miles so far and I think it might last another 10000 ~ 15000 miles.
Don't recommend this tire. There are better options.

OEM tires on my 2020 Corolla only lasted a little over 17k miles before I needed to have them replaced. The tires rode well initially but as they wore I noticed they became louder and less comfortable. With light snow on flat roads and highways I was able to get where I was going, however on a hill next to my house with a little snow the abs kicked in and could not stop my car, I was only going about 5mph and luckily no other cars were on the road. I chose to replace them as I have a state inspection due and at my 13k service 3 tires were at 4/32 and one was at 3/32 so they likely wouldn't pass inspection and I did not feel safe with winter approaching.

These tires came with my 2018 Mirage ES hatch and I'm not really happy with these tires.
They do not have the greatest amount of grip, in any weather conditions but when it snows they do okay, but not great.

They seem to wearing decent but will likely need to be replaced within the the next year or so, they are starting to dry rot/crack which doesn't give me the greatest confidence.

Noisy tires, particularly at highway speeds and the ride at anything but the recommended 35psi is terrible, if you over inflate these tires, trust me you'll know.


Verdict?
Well, simply put I am VERY happy other companies have started making competing tires because I sure as anything am not putting these back on my Mirage, and definitely NOT at the LUDICROUS price point of (as I write this) $146 PER TIRE on a MIRAGE.

Have driven 7,400 miles. Tires wearing quickly. Hit a pothole and developed a sidewall bubble within a few days. My former car had Sumitomos, nowhere near as reputable as a brand, that took quite a beating before we traded in the car. Will replace with Bridgestones or other brand for sure.

Given the tire's S speed rating, I wasn't expecting incredible stability at a balls-to-the-wall top speed run at 110 mph. It was surprisingly stable, especially given the Mirage's factory Jell-O suspension.

The sidewall practically folds over itself in high-speed onramp and offramp excursions at the limit of their lateral adhesion. It's a passenger tire; I was expecting that as well.

The tire screams and begs for mercy as you push its limits. Again, I was expecting that.

What I wasn't expecting was the tires to be worn down to 3.5/32 at less than 20K. I'm a pretty aggressive driver and I know this, but even with 7.5k rotations these tires are all but quickly approaching the state of being thoroughly used up. One of my previous cars was a 2010 Toyota Yaris with Bridgestone Potenza RE92 tires, the only direct competitor in the Mirage's factory size, and the RE92's offered more grip AND had less wear after 25K of very similar driving in spite of their treadwear rating..

Oh, yeah, and these sidewalls ---- for durability on NJ's roads. I've got 2 bubbles so far and my game plan is to either change all 4 of 'em when they're down to 2/32 or one of them blows. The bubbles appeared with two -moderate-, but not crippling, pothole impacts.

For factory tires, they're not half bad, but they're not half good either. If someone's in a Mirage right now, my advice would be to step up to 185-60R14 for more variety or grab the RE92's while they still exist. After having my expectations of Dunlop boosted with the phenomenal grip their discontinued Z1 Star Spec tires had to offer, the Ensave 01s were a sobering polarity. They're cheap, light, and mostly safe tires and... that's about it. Mirage owners can do better.

After just 16k-18k miles, I was told I will need new tires soon, they barely passed inspection here in NY state after one year and 18k miles! Other than that, they're decent tires, a little loud at highway speeds but also the car has almost no insulation so many things are loud at highway speeds! Also because of the car and these tires doing the speed limit of 55, driving mostly highway miles will get you 50+ mpg despite the EPA's 42 highway rating. Doing 65 in a 55 and 75 in a 65 will get you around the EPA's 42 mpg. I have had no major issues with these tires other than the terrible life of these tires...no tires should be worn out from only 16k-18k miles! Sad. I use to be upset when my 2000 and 2005 Neon Goodyear tires(later switched to 60k Cooper tires) were worn out after 36k miles, a little ridiculous Dunlop!
