The Azenis FK460 A/S is Falken's Ultra High Performance All-Season tire for drivers of sport coupes, muscle cars, performance sedans and CUVs, and sport EVs (Electric Vehicles) seeking reliable dry grip, confident wet handling, and capable light snow traction as well as comfort, and reasonable tread life.
The Azenis FK460 A/S utilizes an Advanced Nano 4D compound molded into an asymmetric tread design featuring large, high-grip chamfered tread blocks, engineered to deliver competent dry grip and heightened cornering capability at higher speeds. A wide footprint maximizes contact with the road surface for optimal traction, while strong shoulder blocks amplify high-performance handling in dry conditions. Full-depth emerging grooves enhance wet traction when new and expand as the tire wears for improved wet weather performance throughout the tire's life. Four circumferential grooves provide ample pathways to generous lateral shoulder voids for efficient water evacuation and hydroplaning resistance. Transverse notches provide biting edges for enhanced all-season traction and combine functionally with interlocking sipes on the inboard section for reliable traction in slush and light snow.
Internal construction of the Azenis FK460 A/S consists of two high-tensile steel belts atop a reinforced two-ply polyester casing. A polyamide cap ply further stabilizes the tread for high-speed handling and durability.
Limited sizes of the Azenis FK460 A/S are available with Falken's Silent Core technology, which involves the manufacturer adhering a layer of sound-absorbing foam to the inner liner of the tire to reduce cabin noise in the vehicle. These sizes are identified on the Specs page and in the search results.

In the first test of 2025, we run it back with EV vs non-EV tires with an eleven-tire, five-category grouping. Using our pair of Teslas, we delve into efficiency, road characteristics, wet and dry handling/braking, and of course, the overall rankings when combined! Including a final chart with tires from 2024 added! Sit back, relax, and enjoy the first test of 2025!
Feedback consistently shows the Falken Azenis FK460 A/S delivers excellent dry traction (9-10 scores dominate) and outstanding wet grip with strong hydroplaning resistance. Winter performance earns praise for snow handling, though ice traction shows occasional lower scores (2-5 in some cases). Ride comfort receives consistent positive marks, with many noting a smooth, quiet experience. Treadwear ratings lean positive (8-10 range common), though a few reports of rapid wear suggest variability in tread life. As an Ultra High Performance All-Season tire, it excels in its core categories while maintaining balanced all-weather capability, with winter ice performance being the only notable area of mixed feedback.

Great tires at reasonable price. Good traction in dry and wet conditions and have performed well in light snow. No noticeable road noise and very little tread wear after one year of spirited driving use.

...performed well in the light snow. Good traction and I can feel the tires digging into the snow to give the car the grip it needed...
When I needed to replace my tires on my Model Y 2021, I didn't want to pay an exorbitant amount of money for the stock Goodyear tires and they had no Millage warranty.
I went with the fallen and only have 1500 miles on them but I absolutely love these tires for a a few reasons. I live in the northeast and withing the 1000 miles here is what I found.
1-DRY-Handles amazing on dry pavements. I can feel that they are grippy and has good contact with the road, excellent.
2-Rain/wet-the first day I had these tires on we got an exorbitant amount of rain, and these tires held up like a champ… Great contact with the pavement, excellent expulsion of water, thus less chance of hydroplaning… Just an all-around good tire.
3-SNOW-still early in the season, but received about 2 inches if snow, and these sites performed well in the light snow. Good traction and I can feel the tires digging into the snow to give the car the grip it needed.
I feel really safe with these tires after 1500 miles, and I will absolutely get them again, and you cannot beat the price.
I may add to this, as we get more snow in the Northeast, also wanted to add great customer service from tire rack, because these tires were not in stock, or got back-ordered, and Tire rack kept me informed throughout the process

...Great handling, very responsive in rain and icy road conditions. We haven't had any real snow to speak off but what we have had these tires work great
Was in need of tires do to pot hole damaging the sidewall on a DWS Continental tire. In the long run made better sense to replace all four for the coat of two tires. I have no regrets on switching to these. Great handling, very responsive in rain and icy road conditions. We haven't had any real snow to speak off but what we have had these tires work great

...Before it started snowing I tested these tires on the dry streets also with some corners and they handle amazingly! I have a lot of grip and am able to take a turn very quick and hard without loosing traction...
Got bigger wheels for my vehicle which are 20”, been searching for tires and didn’t want to break the bank on some over priced Michelin tires, found these tires by Falken. A very amazing price for some amazing tires! It’s been snowing where I live and these tires are fantastic, haven’t gotten stuck in snow yet even though we had about 20” of snow fall here. I drive a low car so if I get stuck on snow it would because of my ride height.
Before it started snowing I tested these tires on the dry streets also with some corners and they also handle amazingly! I have a lot of grip and am able to take a turn very quick and hard without loosing traction.
I will definitely purchase these tires over and over again because for the price and how well they perform is great!

...second, they are ' stickier,' i.e., it is harder to break the rear end free (driving on the same roads & curves)...
To give you some context, I live in a rural area with miles and miles of beautiful, windy country highways, roads and lanes—as well as miles of gravel roads— on which I drive fairly aggressively (or "spirited," using Tire Rack terminology). Think: on occasion, I will push things to the point where the rear breaks end free. I previously had two sets of Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires, with which I was reasonably satisfied with. I would get around 30,000 miles out of each set. So, needing a set of tires, and noticing that a set of (4) Falkens was about $100 less expensive than the Continentals (my girlfriend would tell you I'm cheap), I decided to give the Falkens a try. After ±500 miles, I would say they have been a pleasant surprise. Indeed, I have found no deficiencies. In particular, two things stand out when contrasted with the Continentals:
- first, they roll significantly smoother and quieter - second, they are "stickier," i.e., it is harder to break the rear end free (driving on the same roads & curves)
Lastly, I don't imagine that they'll last any longer than the Continentals, given my driving style, so wear will likely be a push—but one never knows… Hope you found this review useful.

...The cornering performance seems at least as good as the stock tires. They leave me very confident...
In terms of performance, noise, comfort, price and tread longevity these tires outperform the stock Eagle F1s. I replaced all 4 with a set of these Falkens. I immediately noticed the ride is quieter and more compliant over the stock tires. Bumps and general road imperfections are a bit more smoothed over with these tires. The cornering performance seems at least as good as the stock tires. They leave me very confident.
The only downside is they are not as efficient as the stock tires. However, this should be expected going into this transaction because they are not EV rated. I can''t quantify exactly how much, but it isn''t that bad, just noticeable on certain drives. It seems on efficient routes they are just as good. On routes that are not efficient (more hills) they drop a few more percentage points off my range than I remember. It is not drastic, but worth mentioning. I charge every night at home, so I figured I would give them a try due to the all the pros (especially the longer tread life and price!!).
In the end I am extremely happy and would purchase again. I would recommend them for spirited driving or for cruising. A+!

I have about 100 miles on these tires. I drive a model 3 performance and the road noise has been reduced about 20-30%; my wife feels these are a significant improvement over stock in terms of comfort and noise. Tires also appear to be a little smoother over bumps compared to the Pilot Sport 4s. You do loose a little bit of the direct steering feel because the tire likely has a softer sidewall. Overall, I’d recommend these tires as an alternative for the long distance commuter - if you’re a looking for a sporty tire probably be better off buying the summer tire version.

I formally had Continental Extreme Contact DWS and loved them. They were unavailable and I went with the Falken. So far I've been very pleased. Very quiet, comfortable ride. Great performance with an all season tire. If they last as long as the Continental, I'll be really pleased.

So happy I read the previous reviews for these tires. These are by far way better than the horrible Continentals (SportContact6) that come with the car. You can feel right away less noise and bumpiness. The Continentals also have crap tread wear with just average driving and are very expensive for the low quality they provide. These Falken's are way nicer as a ride and also look better on the car. On top of that they are all season so you are ready for any change in climate specially here in the upper Mid-West. Like other reviewers have said, just give them a try.

My experience with this falcon tire has been better than expected really like the cornering around curves very tight and great grip the accord handles like Muhammad Ali floats like a butterfly and they sting like a bee. I rotated tires once and had a mild winter this past year, maybe drove in some Snow flurries. The wet traction is very good and the car stops quickly in light rain. I have experienced wheel spin with the six speed manual transmission when it’s raining and traction control is not engaged. The tires will hop. Other than that less road noise than other brands I’ve used in the past on the same vehicle. I’m happy with the wire verse performance on this tire and would even consider ----ing for my other vehicles.

I bought these tires for their all around performance. First reaction is they are whisper quiet, yet still engaged with sharp traction. Neither soft nor firm, but responsive. Much quieter with sharper handling than the Ohtsu FP7000 these replaced (and the Ohtsu were solid with plenty of tread depth remaining after 25,000 miles of service). Too soon to gauge treadwear on the new Falkens
