The Dueler H/P Sport AS is one of Bridgestone's Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season tires developed for the drivers of luxury and performance crossovers, sport utility vehicles and light-duty pickup trucks looking for all-season capability, even in light snow. Designed to provide performance that is in tune with today's popular light-duty light trucks, the Dueler H/P Sport AS blends traction, handling and braking with ride comfort and wear.
Dueler H/P Sport AS tires feature a high-silica tread compound that improves traction in wet and wintry conditions. This compound is molded into a symmetric design featuring high-stiffness closed shoulders to enhance cornering and handling along with circumferential and high angle lateral grooves that further water evacuation by channeling water away from the footprint area to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction. Full-depth tread design features and engineered sipes provide the biting edges to promote all-season performance during the life of the tire.
The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon to enhance durability while reducing tire weight and rolling resistance.

Can the New Crossover/SUV Tires Help Yours Drive More Like a Car? (03:59)
Today's CUVs and SUVs have evolved from their "light truck with the enclosed, cargo carrying convenience of a hatchback" design. Many prioritize on-road sportiness vs. all-around utility. To keep pace, new tire options for these vehicles blend handling, ride quality and year-round traction.
Ratings highlight excellence in dry traction, with most scores in the 9-10 range, praised for sharp cornering stability and responsive handling. Wet traction earns consistent 8-10 ratings, showing strong grip and hydroplaning resistance. Comfort receives positive feedback for a smooth ride, though some note moderate road noise. Treadwear scores are mostly 7-8, but a few reports of premature wear (scores 0-5) suggest variability. Customers emphasize this tire's summer-focused performance, with high satisfaction in its intended use for spirited driving. While treadlife concerns are occasional, the FK510's dry/wet capabilities and sporty feel make it a standout in the ultra-high-performance summer category.

...It truly has great performance without sacrificing wet traction or suffering from hydroplaning.
Best All Round Summer Contender
The FK510 is most likely the best bang for your buck. It truly has great performance without sacrificing wet traction or suffering from hydroplaning. At a 225/40/18, the ride is just soft enough to give comfort on some of the holes you can't swerve out of the way for but at the same time not feeling mushy in the corners. While in the corners, my wannabe gti can't get much better with these tires being quite predictable even at the edge of their capabilities, and response is fairly quick if something gave you a scare on the way out. As for the wear on these tires, I can't say much just from so little miles on them and 70% of that being on the highway, but having an asymetrical tread pattern is nice to have being able to cross rotate ( which I rotated at about 3000 miles). Granted, this review is coming off of previous experience with having a 225/45/17 UHP/AS that was in the middle of its class, but going to this tire gave me better ride comfort, more responsive performance, and greater noise control. As for the price, you can't beat the performance with the other perks that tag along. Overall, amazing tire so far and hopefully many more miles to come with the Falken Azenis FK510.

Amazing tires on my Q60.I don't know in other brand of cars, but my Q60; behave very well in wet and dry conditions. When I need power, I just push the car with confidence. Time will tell because they are almost in new condition. Until now I'm very happy with the results. Thanks a lot guys!

...Dry traction is excellent. Car handles like TWICE the car it was on all-seasons...
The poor man's Sport Cup 2's. My go to tire for any daily driven, sporty cars.
Driven about 5000 miles, mostly normal driving, with some occasional spirited driving and backroad drifting. They're noticeably worn, but should probably last me to the end of the year, assuming my driving style stays the same. Keep in mind, I'm driving a light coupe so your mileage may vary (literally).
The Good: - Dry traction is excellent - Car handles like TWICE the car it was on all-seasons. Never going back. - Best bang for buck I've ever gotten from a tire.
The Bad: - Road noise is awful. Expected this from a performance tire, but it's much more noticeable than I thought. - Wet traction is just okay. You'll never break traction from normal driving, but any fast turns WILL cause some squeal. Be careful. - Wears pretty quickly for a 300 tire. Will probably last around 10k before any noticeable drop in performance, and around 12k before needing to be replaced.

95% of the performance of Michelin Super sports for 1/3 of the price! I drive pretty aggressive with these on my R32 and they are showing 9/32 after 5,500 miles of driving so far this summer. So they are just broken in after 5k+ miles which is fantastic for a UHP summer tire. I am not sure how many miles I'll get but for this price point anything over 10,000 miles would be fantastic the way I drive and I don't see that. Being an issue. I bought a set the general g max RS UHP and after 6,000 miles they are very worn and will barely last the rest of this summer season. Next year that other car will get a set of the falken as well.

...quick response in weight transfers, it has a pretty soft sidewall great for cruising. They keep quiet very well as long as you stay with rotations and your alignment is good...
For people that want an honest opinion:
This tire is amazing. for the price as a UHP, this is by far the best tire for the performance, comfort, and tread life. I will be on my 3rd set in the spring, getting roughly 20-25k miles on each set, swapping at 3/32" left.
Performance: The response is better than most in this category, both wet and dry. You can feel when they want to give out, and when they do, it's very gradual and composed. They deal with hydroplaning very well for a UHP summer and wet contact traction is top tier.
NVH/Comfort: Even with the quick response in weight transfers, it has a pretty soft sidewall great for cruising. They keep quiet very well as long as you stay with rotations and your alignment is good. I saw so many other reviews saying how horrific they were in this category, and I can bet you they either did not rotate frequently enough or their alignment is $#!t. I've done rotations at 3,000 miles, and at 10,000 miles, barely noticed any difference in noise, but it was noticed.
Tread Wear: Another category that other reviewers had a problem with. It is a UHP Summer tire, you can't expect to get 30-40k miles unless all you do is highway driving. If that is really all you do and they wear down quick, then fix your alignment. I do not go easy on these tires and use them to their full capability probably about 10-20% of my miles, and I'll happily take 25k miles for these.
Overall, amazing tire, FOR THE PRICE, as a UHP summer. You could go with the DWS06+ if you wanted better tread life for close to the same price, but you won't get the performance of these. I've driven this car with both tires, and like I said, I can't wait to throw them on again in the spring.

...They are also a more comfortable ride, especially at higher speeds...
I wish I had put these on a year sooner. The Pirellis I had were good tires when everything was perfect, but if you live in an area where it gets cold, or you get a lot of rain, these Falkens are the way to go. I have tried to break them loose on colder days, and they grab every time and want to take off! They are also a more comfortable ride, especially at higher speeds. I will be buying these again when the time comes.

...Ride is now perfect for this vehicle (2018 540 Msport non-adjustable suspension). Went from riding on cement bricks to pillow-soft in straight line... Literally no tire noise...
Replaced Goodyear Assymetric 3 runflat 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 with 245/40/20 and 275/35/20 non-runflat. Oh my. Completely changed the ride/drive/handling balance. Ride is now perfect for this vehicle (2018 540 Msport non-adjustable suspension). Went from riding on cement bricks to pillow-soft in straight line. Still corners really well, and traction is very good. Tire Rack test data is spot on with this tire. Not very playful but grips well and has an excellent ride. Literally no tire noise. Wear is unknown at this point but I really don't care because these FK510's fit the character of this car, fast rear-drive luxury/sport sedan, perfectly!

...The tread wear seems to be great, I have 10,000 miles on the tires rotating every 4K miles and they seem like they have a lot of life left...
Have way more traction than the tires that came on the car. Very responsive and I can take corners with a lot more confidence. The grip on these tires is amazing, even on rainy days. Definitely getting another set of these when they wear out. The tread wear seems to be great, I have about 10,000 miles on the tires rotating every 4K miles and they seem like they have a lot of life left. I was on the fence on getting these but I'm glad I did. Definitely recommend these.

...Customers mention that the FK510 performs well in straight line traction and requires no rebalancing after launching. Specifically: "FK Is much much smoother and more confortable Just feels right. No rebalanceing after launching."...
Have tried a few tires on this supercharged Camaro ss. The firehawk was a very good tire but any time it spun it seemed I had to have it reblanced. They are very narrow as well. Was stated to be 9.7 tread width but it only put down a foot print of 8. Very disapointing. So I tried the FK510 Atkins. It is wider about 9 on the same rim. But tread actully touching the ground is about the same so it has wider channels for water evacuation. Havent driven in the rain yet so caint coment about that. So I like stright line traction and curvers. No track. The fire hawk indie vs the FK510. Best 0.60 times with the firehawk is around 4. With the FK 3.8. FK Is much much smoother and more confortable Just feels right. No rebalanceing after launching. FK is a touch quiter, that is close with both being a quiter tire. I feel none of the negtavies of the test report from tire rack. I will be buying this tire again and the price is very good for what you get. I have a very wide set of the toyos r888s on wide rims for the rear and the best with them is 3.7 to give a reference. They are the 315/30/20 these are the 285/35/20. Speed omter was corrected for different sizes. The fire hawk is a very tall tire taller than the same size fk. With the firehawk I ran 20 mil spacers with the fk I can only run a 15. Much better looking tire to me. So Firehawk indi 500 exlencet tire Adkins FK510 Better.
