Falken Azenis RT615K+The Azenis RT615K+ is a further evolution of Falken Tire's championship-winning Extreme Performance Summer tire, the Azenis RT615K. Developed for drivers of muscle cars, sports cars, street rods and performance sedans who want ultimate grip in warm, dry and wet conditions, the Azenis RT615K+ is not intended to be serviced, stored nor driven in near- or below-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

Utilizing the proven internal construction and motorsports-inspired asymmetric tread pattern as its predecessor, the Azenis RT615K+ features Falken's latest Extreme Summer Performance-targeted compound. The updated compound is designed to further satisfy the increased performance expectations of competitive drivers through additional dry grip. The Massive Sport Side Shoulder Blocks deliver extreme levels of lateral traction through turns, and the solid center rib effectively puts the power to the ground by providing constant contact with the road. Inboard circumferential grooves and notched tread blocks help evacuate water from the contact patch, improving wet traction and hydroplaning resistance.

Internal construction of the Azenis RT615K+ includes a high-tension casing to help increase handling response and high-speed stability. Twin, high-tensile steel belts are reinforced by a spirally-wrapped nylon Joint-less Cap Ply to promote even wear and durability.

Extreme Performance Summer tires exposed to temperatures of 20 degrees F (-7 degrees C) or lower must be permitted to gradually return to temperatures of at least 40 degrees F (5 degrees C) for at least 24 hours before they are flexed in any manner, such as by adjusting inflation pressures, mounting them on wheels, or using them to support, roll or drive a vehicle.

Note: Flexing of the specialized rubber compounds used in Extreme Performance Summer tires during cold-weather use can result in irreversible compound cracking. While compound cracking is not a warrantable condition because it occurs as the result of improper use or storage, tires exhibiting compound cracking must be replaced.

Falken Azenis RT615K+ Reviews

Customers say the tire delivers exceptional dry traction and precise handling, excelling in autocross and track environments with predictable grip and responsive steering. Wet performance is manageable in light rain but requires caution in heavy downpours due to hydroplaning risks, especially as tread wears. Treadwear is praised for a 200TW tire, offering respectable longevity through multiple heat cycles, though aggressive use accelerates wear. Ideal for drivers prioritizing track-ready performance and durability over all-weather versatility.

  • 143 positive
  • 51 negative

Reviewers scoring 7s-8s praise the RT615K+ for predictable wet handling and secure grip in light rain, with some noting surprising traction during wet autocross. While heavy rain or standing water can challenge limits, many find them manageable when new, offering controlled performance ideal for summer use. Wear reduces wet efficacy, aligning with extreme performance expectations.

These are excellent tires. I drive all year round and appreciate that they don’t need much heat to grip. They’re good in the rain. They’re sticky in the dry. The sidewall is not crazy stiff so they’re comfortable enough. There are better track only tires, and there are more expensive sticky street tires, but there are not better tires like these for the price.

I would highly recommend these tires for track duty. These aren’t the fastest tires but they are the most predictable, and they last, which is what we prioritize, and they are very reasonably priced. We run these on our 2016 BRZ and we liked them so much we started running them on our 1997 M3. If you’re new to HPDE / tracking, the predictability of the tire is key and helps you learn the limits of your car. I plan on continuing to buy these as long as they are available.

...Dry grip and traction are great, they are stable and predictable to the edge of grip.

Very happy with the Falkens, I drive the backroads/touge often and these hold up well. Dry grip and traction are great, they are stable and predictable to the edge of grip.

..."Might last my whole season this year! These saved a lot of $$$..." (No treadwear-related phrases were found in this text to bold.)...

**size 265/35/18**

I got these as they were touted for lasting, consistent, reliable performance for track days. I got these to learn the car and turn consistent laps. I’m not racing, so i don’t need super sprint pace for pole position.

These will get you to the track, turn some solid, consistent laps, and drive home. Probably overkill for Street use unless you are a touge killer. If you’re any semblance of civilized, get something higher UTQG.

Might last my whole season this year! These saved a lot of $$$ vs other brands, so for me so far they’ve been a win-win-win

Should go without saying, but careful in cold and wet. You will not have the same grip. If the two are combined, very slippery!

...I have about 140 laps on my set, and they could easily do another 140 or likely more based on how they are wearing.

Bought these for HDPE lapping days. They have a great mix of qualities for a track day tire. Decent grip, good heat tolerance, very predictable breakaway, and great wear resistance.

If you are looking for a tire to maximize your seat time on track, this is a great option for the price.

These are probably not what you would want for a competitive setting. The ultimate grip just isnt as high as something like the RT660 or any of the other "autocross" 200TW options

I have about 140 laps on my set, and they could easily do another 140 or likely more based on how they are wearing.

...Due to limited tire size options for 14" wheels, this's my 2nd time purchasing these tires and found them very sticky (200 tread wear ratings) and overall the best tires for the cost...

My '91 BMW 318iS is a relatively lighter car and it's set up with bilstein progressive shoks and Eibach springs and this car's not my daily driven car, but when I drive this car, I drive it mostly on the back roads and between the very well balanced nature of the BMW E30, a lightly modified suspension and these tires, it's one of the best combination that make my driving this car much more enjoyable and all the confidence in hard cornering in my driving!

Due to limited tire size options for 14" wheels, this's my 2nd time purchasing these tires and found them very sticky (200 tread wear ratings) and overall the best tires for the cost .
