My Thoughts After 1,000 Miles in Seattle / Everett Winter Driving

After about 1,000 miles of driving around the Seattle–Everett area in February and March, mostly in rain with a little light snow, my experience with the Falken Sincera SN250 A/S tires has been very positive. They have felt confident on wet highways and county roads, with stable braking and good traction even during heavy rain, which is exactly what I want for typical winter conditions here. The ride has been smooth and quiet on both city streets and freeway driving, and the handling feels predictable and comfortable for daily commuting. From my own experience so far, they seem well suited to the frequent rain we get in the Pacific Northwest. Although they are not designed for serious snow or ice, they handled the light snow we encountered without any issues. Overall, after the first thousand miles, my impression is that they are a well-priced, comfortable, and dependable tire for everyday driving in the wet Seattle area climate.

Great tires. Difference in comfort and steering response over sumitomo HTR was significant and would much rather get these again over those. One giant caveat is that these tires have a single ply sidewall which is where the improvement in comfor comes in. So far no issues with buldging.

As far as grip goes, these have good dry grip in pretty much all situations and have not been wanting more for regular driving. Wet Grip is amazing and much better than the last gen HTRs. Very confidence inspiring and able to keep up with faster traffic in the wet without hydroplaning.

Would recommend if the price is still less than the competition and Wet Grip is a priority.

Better wet and snow traction than the continetals I've been running in the past. And they're much quieter over highway joints.

Good choice for cars with 14 inch wheels and limited tire choices. Precise steering response on dry pavement. At the recommended inflation level for the car, it rides rough on rough roads, and of course smooth on smooth roads. Seems to have very little rolling resistance.

These are good. Better than expected to be honest. They're reasonably priced. They're easy to balance and don't shake. I mounted and balanced them myself which is why I use tire rack. They give a smooth comfortable ride. They're not sport tires but great for commuting. They seem reasonably efficient, still getting the normal 30 to 32 mpg with the car.

Good tire for the money.. Treadwear seems to be very good so far. The Falkens are noisier (hum) than the Generals previously mounted. Falken is a good all-purpose tire that handles securely, and I'm pleased with them.

Obtaining and installing tires no problem. Tread wear is good so far. I have no complaints about tread ware, noise or handling. These tires seem to be good value and met expectations. I have no complaints
