Customers think the Firestone Affinity Touring tire delivers strong dry traction and responsive handling, with many ratings in the 8-10 range for confident cornering and stability. However, treadwear receives mixed feedback, with some noting rapid wear and inconsistent tread life. Comfort is polarizing-some praise a smooth, quiet ride, while others report harshness and road noise. Winter traction is a concern, with low scores (often 0-5) suggesting limited capability in snow and ice. Wet performance also draws criticism, including hydroplaning risks and reduced grip in rainy conditions. While dry performance shines, the tire's all-season versatility is questioned due to its winter and wet limitations.

I have been pleased with them. this car is my daily run around car, but I do drive quite spirited and love the way they grip. The tires work perfect in dry and rain conditions quiet, and super smooth rolling.
In snow they work not too well but you have to understand you are not driving on mud/snow tires, so you will slide. I have gotten a great 68k out of these tires, which I'm happy with. but since they are worn down, I'm replacing them before winter.

These tires have a very smooth ride and exceptional wet traction in the rain. They provide very good steering response. Dry traction is exceptional. They are original equipment tires on a 2013 Honda Civic LX 4 door sedan with electronic traction and steering control. I have owned the vehicle for 2 weeks since the last weekend in April, 2013. I have to wait until winter to know how these tires can handle snow and ice conditions on the roads. Time will tell how well the tread will wear on these tires.

Mixed scores for wet traction, with many 0-6 ratings indicating slippery performance and tendency to hydroplane. Disappointing for an all-season tire, needs improvement.

Despite maintaining pressure I doubt these tires will go past 25K on this
99 Honda Odyssey. They are ok on the highway, tend to squeal a bit in corners, and are awful in the wet. Have had some good Firestones in the past but I suspect these OE tires are not up to this vehicle.

Winter traction ratings show widespread dissatisfaction, with many scoring 0-5. Customers report slippery conditions, loss of traction, and getting stuck. While some rate 7-10, the majority highlight unacceptable winter performance for an all-season tire.

...They have absolutely no traction in any amount of snow, wet pavement traction is also very poor, an all season tire they are not...
These tires came OEM on my HHR LS and are some of the worst tires I've ever owned. After sitting over night in cool weather the tires get flat spots like old bias ply tires and it takes several miles to get them round again. They have absolutely no traction in any amount of snow, wet pavement traction is also very poor, an all season tire they are not. Tread wear seems good but on such poor performing tires who cares.

...After 34,000 miles, the center tread is completely bald and I have zero traction in the snow.
After only 34,000 miles, the center tread is completely bald and I have zero traction in the snow. These tires are supposed to have an 80,000 mile warranty, but it looks like they're only referring to the outside treads.

...NO TRACTION in SNOW OR ON ICE... stuck many times on ice or small amounts of snow.
Worst tire experience ever in my life. These came stock on the 2012 Honda Civic LX sedan. NO TRACTION in SNOW OR ON ICE>>>> BEWARE!!! Gave these 13,000 miles before giving up and avoiding multiple close calls and stuck many times on ice or small amounts of snow.

The road noise from these tires is unbareable. The traction on wet roads is subpar. It time for me to buy new tires and the Kumho Touring A/S 795 looks attractive at 40$ a tire.

These tires are crap! ... they wear quickly, cup frequently, and cost too much for what they are-i.e. OEM cheapies...
These tires are crap! Ive had two sets because I had to buy them at different times and wanted to keep them matched. They wear quicky, cup frequently, and cost too much for what they are-i.e. "OEM cheapies". I wish I had bought four of some other kind to begin with. Live and learn.

Treadwear scores show concerning inconsistency, with many ratings between 0-6. Customers report rapid wear, premature replacement, and disappointing tread life despite some 8-10 scores. Excessive wear and dissatisfaction highlight poor performance for an all-season touring tire.

Tires are terrible in the rain, but they're amazingly stable and responsive in the dry. However, for the trade-off in performance, I would expect more milage than the 30,000 I've gotten from them.
