...Their grip in wet conditions was superior as well...

So the most miles I could enter is 100,000, but I actually have 120,000 on this set of tires. Note that I do a 5 tire rotation since I have a full size spare.
These are BY FAR the best tires I have had on the vehicle! Their grip in all conditions as been nothing short of great. The majority of my driving is city/highway, but I also have probably 10k miles driven off-road. This has consisted of snow, mud, dirt, rocks, and sand. I have had these tires in AZ and MD for living, and have traveled from NY, to FL, to AZ. I have had to plug two tires for screws in them, but even that didn't stop them.
I've had the OEM tires and a set of BFG AT/KOs on them as well, and neither were as good. The BFGs were a decent tire with horrible dirt traction. These outmatch the BFGs both on and off road. Their grip in wet conditions was superior as well.
I don't normally write reviews, but these were so good to me, I had to.
With 265,000 miles on my GX, I'm debating whether my Lexus will last me long enough to get my money's worth out of another set.
Either way, no matter what vehicle I get next, these Destination ATs will be on it!

...75 mph all the way, smooth quiet and no handling issues even at 70 mph in the rain...

This is my second set of these tires from Tire Rack. I got 70,000 miles out of my first set with no complaints though they were about 10,000 miles past replacement due to wear issues caused by the truck itself not the tires. These tires are much more tolerant of vehicle issues then good year tires. My experience with Good Years was if there was a wear issue they would just go bad fast. I just drove to Wisconsin and back with these new tires. 75 mph all the way, smooth quiet and no handling issues even at 70 mph in the rain. I would buy these again.

...performs confidently in slippery conditions.

This tire performs quietly despite its aggressive tread, which also instills confidence while driving through slippery conditions as a result of rain, snow, or ice. The treadwear appears to be lasting quite well. too. I highly recommend purchasing this tire for your vehicle if you want an all-season tire with an aggressive tread that rides quietly and performs confidently in slippery conditions.

great winter traction. Terrible wear. y mechanic says they are wearing even but at 30000 miles they are all but worn out. Feel free to tell me about the supposed 55000 wear out warranty. I spent too much money to have them wear this fast.

I do prefer the Blizzacks for the middle of winter but these are very good for less than 6 inches of snow.

I only needed one tire as i have a full size spare im going to swap. I have not rotated my tires and the front tires need to be replaced at probably 5k miles ago. The rear tires at 53K miles still have a decent amount of meat to go another 5-8k more miles. Normally for winter I put on Brigestone Blizzacks but I'm going to use my other vehicle this winter. Very happy with these tires for all around year long use and have exceeded my expectations for tire wear. I'm in upstate NY where it snows from Nov-May. I do prefer the Blizzacks for the middle of winter but these are very good for less than 6 inches of snow.

...On pavement I'm pretty hard on these tires and frankly they surprised me with their handling response. Their ability to hold a corner was unexpected, in a great way, for an OFF road tire, it was great...

Purchased on a Black Friday special at Firestone Shop. Wet, dry, dirt, mud, light and deep snow are nothing for this tire. Solid performance in all my typical roads. I live in rural Colorado, and I drive on highway, dirt, clay mud, and snow/ice covered roads regularity. On pavement I'm pretty hard on these tires and frankly they surprised me with their handling response. Their ability to hold a corner was unexpected, in a great way, for an OFF road tire, it was great. i do tow a fair amount, from a small utility and atv, to a 7500 lb fully loaded camper. The towing has made their tread wear a bit faster than I was expecting. I was hoping for a bit longer lasting. At 15,000 miles its just under 3/4 tread left but not yet down to half. Even with the wear the performance hasn't changed.

On the note of rotating your tires, I've found with these more aggressive on-off road tires last longer with more frequent rotations.I rotate at 5000 miles on the dot and it helps keep wear even, and they last longer is my experience

Only real issue with these tires is their grip on gravel. I realize gravel is a moving substrate and grip on gravel can be hard on any tire. But these left me hoping for a bit more. The OEM goodyears RS-A's are a joke on gravel (and snow, and rain, and dry, ok everywhere) these do work better but still I'd hoped for more.

I think that I could get a similar performance from a cheaper tire, but for the price I paid on Black Friday sale, mounted and balanced makes these worth that price. I think the next set will be something else unless I can get a decent deal like I got with this set.

...They are smooth, quiet, comfortable, responsive, as well as providing very good overall performance in all driving conditions...

58,000 miles on these tires and still going strong, probably good for another 10,000 as there is still plenty of tread and they are all wearing evenly. I have a snowplow mounted on my vehicle for my long driveway and I help out a few neighbors. We had 20"+ of snow over the last 2 days and I plowed my paved driveway 3 times. These tires still have really great traction in a foot of snow even pushing a snowplow and with 58k miles wear on them, no spinning or loss of traction. Overall they are great all around performers both highway and city driving as well. They are smooth, quiet, comfortable, responsive, as well as providing very good overall performance in all driving conditions. I will most likely replace them with the same, or the Destination A/T2 when time comes. Highly recommended.

...The tradeoff is that they are remarkably smooth and quiet; in this tin can of a truck, I have to *try* to hear tire noise at any speed, and they do a great job of dampening all sizes of road imperfections, while totally muting small ones. I can fly over pavement that would make me slow to a crawl in most cars. The truck is actually kinda... comfortable!...

These 235/75R15 Firestones, bought new from Firestone 3 years ago, replaced an old and worn set of 265/75R15 Big O somethingorother, on a Toyota 4x4 that sees 95% pavement use, but that 5% is definitely 4x4 territory - deep snow, steep muddy rutted broken logging roads, and an actual Class 2-3 jeep trail now and then. The only problem with these is that the Destinations appear to have higher rolling resistance than average - fuel economy went down 10-15% compared to their bigger predecessor, and top speed dropped from 150kph to 130. The tradeoff is that they are remarkably smooth and quiet; in this tin can of a truck, I have to *try* to hear tire noise at any speed, and they do a great job of dampening all sizes of road imperfections, while totally muting small ones. I can fly over pavement that would make me slow to a crawl in most cars. The truck is actually kinda... comfortable! They have more grip on pavement, wet and dry, than the 19th-century solid-axles-n-leaf-springs suspension could ever use. Off-road, they do quite well, even at full road pressure, but will never match a dedicated MT. Light snow/hardpack traction is great, comparable to a good snow tire. Deep snow traction (over a foot of heavy wet snow) is good, not great. In this size, though, they're "pizza cutters" sized to dig down to pavement, not big balloons designed to float. They seem to be wearing slowly and evenly, and are tough enough for the gravel and branches they've been run on. I bought them for a good road tire with true year-round capability, that can do moderate (for a 4x4) off-road duty, and they Deliver.

These tires came with the car I purchased! They've lasted me 5-6 years so far! tread is still going strong. I have put 97,500 miles on these tires. Tires are very robust in terms of tread. They don't seem like they want to give up. However, with how it is around here with snow and ice, I will be changing them out just in case. But if I lived somewhere that had only rain for winter, I would've kept these bad boys. But after 5yrs and almost 100k miles on them, they deserve to be retired. Tires are great, handle great even after so many miles. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a long lasting tire. Just be weary, they aren't too great during extreme icy conditions. However, they are manageable!

...The problem began at about 30k miles. The tread blocks on the insides began to wear unevenly. Almost as if they were feathering...

I had these on my truck for several years. They started out as great tires and got me up several logging roads in snow and some decent off road situations. They were quiet and very nice on pavement. They were no snow tire (got stuck in deep snow on the mountain only once) but they did a great job for a on/off road all season tire.

The problem began at about 30k miles. The tread blocks on the insides began to wear unevenly. Almost as if they were feathering. Even with a good alignment, constant pressure checks, and constant rotation they started to become noisy and gave a little bit of vibration, especially on nice smooth blacktop. It was so bad that I thought a hub or CV axle was starting to fail. I eventually traded the truck in and see it from time to time with it's new owner and he hasn't either noticed the noise or it doesn't bother him as the same tires are still on the truck a year later. I would probably try the bf Goodrich ko's in the future when my current truck needs tires.
