Firestone  Winterforce 2 UV

This is my third set over 8 years. I own 5 vehicles and run these on 3 of them. Best all-round winter and wet tire I have found.

I'm very pleased with the snow/ice traction of these tires. I was surprised how well they maintained traction the first time I drove on snow. I had considered getting studs, but these are great on their own (plus my experience with studs is they have worse traction on dry ground).

I have had these tires on all my vehicles they fit. I deliver the mail-in the country where the plows are not consistent. I only have gotten stuck once at a mailbox where there was ice under the snow. I have had it snow at night halfway up my doors and still, these tires have gotten me out no problem. I will continue to buy as long as they are around. I have had them on 2 years and used in the summer and still have tred left. I just bought another set yesterday for this winter. If you have snow, buy them! I have delivered for 25 years and so far these have been the best tires.

First time buying Firestone, as I have always had an impression that they are unreliable and wear quickly. Bought these based on user reviews and price. The OEM tires on Highlander are Bridgestone Alenzas, which are fine for 3 seasons here in New England, but don't cut it in the winter - the Highlander is quite a heavy, bulky vehicle and needs a lot more grip than the Alenzas can provide. The Winterforces provide positive performance in almost any conditions and soon inspire confidence on the road. Perhaps the cornering response could be a little sharper near the limit, but I have had no problems with traction. There is a little background hum (no such thing as a noiseless winter tire), but much quieter/less intrusive than many others (e.g., Blizzaks).I am impressed and pleased.

Great tire! Good price! Works just fine on dry surfaces. Pretty quiet. Quick lane changes; They do alright.

This is my second full winter running these tires and they have been flawless. I run them without studs.

The treadwear and ice/snow traction is really hard to compare as it is so much better than any all season AT tire ive used before. It feels like the snow and ice is not even there unless you really slam on the gas/brakes. At highway speeds they maintain great control even on ice w/ cross winds and up and down mountain passes.

In warmer conditions (50°F and up) you do notice the sidewall soften up. I have avoided using them in these conditions.

I highly recommend these for a safe winter ride and for great peace of mind.

Second set got over 40k on the first ones. Good in average snow, not bad in deep snow. Quiet and good handling.

Great tire, got our fwd Camry through the harsh Montana winter with no problem, great traction, wears quickly due to soft nature of the winter tire which is expected. Would buy again
