Drove my truck up bald eagle state forest, the road was solid ice and deep snow in the ditches. I passed several stuck Subarus. Im blown away by the grip I had on the ice going up hill. Seriously I had to stop and get out of my truck to pee and I slipped on the road, almost pissed my self, my tires never slipped the whole 3 mile drive over the Mountain. Mind you o was not speeding, just doing 5-7mph in 4H on the upward side. When going downhill I dropped her in 4L and just coasted down the mountain. I 100% trust my life to these tires in ice conditions. As for mud... bring a winch. I got stuck on a slighty muddy hill. Handle great on pavement wet or dry.

Through many years of driving on / off road, I have purchased many brands / types of tires. BF. Goodrich, Maxi Track, Firestone, Yokohama , Mickey Thompson's. I find these General Grabbers ATX to be the best overall tires I have ever purchased for all around use. Very good in Mud, Snow, Rain. Very little road noise, and the tread wear is excellent, and the price of these tires are very reasonable. I have 24,000 miles on them with my FJ Cruiser and they still have over 50% of tread left. I live in the Colorado mountains and built my F150 for snow days, and will take the truck through deep snowpack just for fun, look for stuck cars to rescue from ditches, find the steepest snowy dirt roads to drive up. Incredibly, and disappointingly, 4x4 often goes unused. Such fabulous rubber.

I Absolutely love these tires. Being from Vermont these are my goto tire. I was new to the truck world and had a car that I would swap tires for the seasons. But the truck has much bigger tires so I can't afford to do seasons. So I wanted a tire that could be used year round for the truck and these are the best tires ever. When I'm in 4WD the tuck is a tank in the snow. Highway driving is great too not loud at all and the ride is smooth. I absolutely recommend these tires 150%. I'm a General tire person for life now.

My MPG's increased due to less rolling resistance. The tread depth is huge and I foresee no issues when it snows or becomes icy as they are rated for sever snow service. I had no fitment issues and no rubbing on a stock F150 (no level kit). Although my experience with these tires has been brief thus far, I look forward to see how they perform long-term and in different off road conditions.

After replacing 2 sets of OEM Tires, I put in leveling struts to fit this one-up size tires on my '11 F150. For the tread pattern, they are remarkably quiet. Compared to the OEMs, they are a stiffer tire. In my opinion, my truck drives much safer and with more stability, although the original P tires were softer. I can't say enough good things about the life of the tire, especially at the price. I do a lot of highway, no towing, but the truck is usually loaded to half-capacity. The work equally well in the rain, snow and dry. I very rarely leave the pavement, but they do well offroad on the few occasions a year its in the sand/mud. I just bought my second set after getting nearly 60K miles on my last set. Would strongly recommend if you are looking at this style of tire for your truck, and you prioritize a great deal of stability over a minor reduction in ride quality.

For my purposes with my set of priorities these General Grabber A/Tx tires are working exactly as I hoped. With my 2016 VW Tiguan AWD I like to go up to the mountains and explore dirt roads so I decided to get some all-terrain tires. It is always useful to have improved traction but the biggest reason I wanted good all-terrain tires is because I am 62 and I really do not want to change a flat tire on a dirt trail many miles from a highway. An all-terrain like the A/Tx or BFG KO2 should help avoid sidewall cuts. I kept the same overall diameter and went from a 50-series on 18 inch wheels to a 65-series on 16 inch wheels. Because of the increased sidewall I actually have a smoother ride over bumps with the A/Tx than with street tires. The A/Tx seems to drive perfectly OK in normal street driving around town and on the freeway including any rain conditions. I'm not going to pretend it is a sports car in corners but it drives fine. Two minor negatives: Compared to street tires, the A/Tx has a little bit of road noise; just a little "hum". And at highway speeds, compared to street tires, there is just a hint of vibration. After the COVID restrictions end I will commute with these 120 miles per day a couple days a week and I don't have any concerns about commuting with these. Now a huge positive: Snow traction. I've only had these up to the mountains once but did get into about six inches of snow over ice for several miles. Going up a very steep hill with snow and ice I could accelerate any amount I wanted, from a stop or from up to 25 mph, without any hint of slipping (with AWD). The past few days at home we have a good six inches of snow with temp's about 20 degrees. These tires are wonderful in snow. Better than the all-weather Vredestein Quatrac 5 or the all-weather Goodyear WeatherReady that we have on our other SUV; and both of those are "pretty good" in snow.

Tires road very well for about 4000 miles with only minor vibration. Didn't think anything of it because it is a Jeep. Then noticed much more vibration/shake in front end around 60 MPH. Contacted customer service about balancing warranty and informed they didn't rebalance wheels after they were shipped. Only warranty was for out of round tire, which would have been apparent when initially installed. So replaced steering stabilizer/shock with no change. Rotated front tires to back and vibration went back to when tires were initially installed. At next oil change had Jeep dealer rebalance all 4 tires. Dealer stated all four tires were out of balance and one tire required 12 ounces to bring it into specs. Drove it home and the ride was very good. Less vibration ever experienced in a Jeep. I don't drive off road and suspect one of the inside weights was thrown off. Can't comment on amount of weights to rebalance as balance machines can be calibrated differently, but definitely trust Jeep dealership. Would recommend these tires for wear, noise and looks. Highly recommend JAX in sales department for all the good advice. Get a lot of compliments on the Jeep, a lot of it due to the new tires and rims.

I am very pleased so far with the performance of these tires. I am very amazed by how quiet they are for the category. They are just barely louder than all-season tires at >70mph. Anything under highway speeds and they are just as quiet as any other all season i've had. I have owned in the past 2 years, a set of Toyo Open Country AT3s and Falken Wild Peak A/T3Ws in similar size and load rating. These General Grabber A/TXs are significantly quieter than the Toyos and Falkens with the Falkens being the loudest on my vehicle. In my short time with the General's I feel they are more comfortable/give a better ride quality on pavement than the other 2. Wet traction is very good and snow traction is very good (both slushy and fresh powder). Braking on fresh powder causes a little bit of slippage if driving normally (ie driving habits on a dry road), but no problem if driving with the proper caution needed for the road conditions. Ice traction was the same, very acceptable/good with driving with some caution. I haven't had a chance to test their offroad capability yet but I predict they will be perfectly suited to my mild offroading (ie rougher than forest service roads but not quite to full on rock climbing). For reference, the Toyos and Falkens did great and performed equally well for me in mild offroading. Overall these are my favorite AT tire by far. Amazing ride quality and quietness on road. Very impressed with the SL load rating and how it doesn't feel sloppy at all in turns and roundabouts in my LX with full steel/aluminum skids, bumpers, side steps, etc. pushing just over 7k lbs with me and my gear in it. Pending testing the offroad traction, I will most certainly buy this tire again and again.
