Standard Touring All-Season tires are for drivers who want a combination of sporty appearance, long wear, predictable handling and S- or T-speed rated durability, along with all-season traction including in light snow. Standard Touring All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on sporty coupes and sedans.

They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires' performance category and specifications.

Customer surveys indicate the Goodyear Assurance Finesse delivers strong treadwear (scores 7-10) and a smooth, quiet ride, with many praising its comfort as a standout feature. Winter traction shows mixed results, with some customers noting challenges on ice and in deeper snow despite adequate light snow performance. Wet traction earns consistent praise for confident handling and hydroplaning resistance, with most scores in the 7-10 range. Dry traction stands out as a highlight, with near-perfect scores (9-10) for grip and responsive steering. As a standard touring all-season tire, it excels in everyday comfort and longevity, though drivers in harsh winter conditions may want to consider supplemental winter tires.

...Wet traction is good, no complains, no slips...
OEM tire on the 2024 Lexus TX350. Not a fan of Goodyear, but this tire has me rethinking... it's incredibly quiet (the quietest tire I've ever owned even quieter than Michelin Primacy), very comfortable yet doesn't have a wobbly sidewall, absorbs impacts very well and road cracks. At 8500 miles, it seems to have worn off about 20-30% so thread life isn't the best, but if your concern is quietness and comfort in dry traction, this tire is so good at that, I'm even considering buying an identical set once mine wear down and this is coming from a die hard Michelin fan. Wet traction is good, no complains, no slips. Haven't tried it on ice.

...It's pretty quiet and ride is comfortable...
Got this oe on my corolla cross. It’s pretty quiet and ride is comfortable. Grip is terrible though, i don’t feel confident going above 80mph with this tires or taking a turn too fast. In wet conditions this tire performs poorly. With just a little bit of water on the road this thing loosing traction. I could only imagine hitting a puddle at 60mph. So if it rains a lot where you live i’d avoid getting this tires. If you want comfort and little road noise then this is for you.

...They are responsive and reasonably quiet and comfortable...
These tries came as original equipment on my 2025 Volkswagen Taos. I did not want to write a review until I had experienced all 4 seasons in New England. The tires performed very well on the highway and on dry surfaces. They are responsive and reasonably quiet and comfortable. I have experienced traction loss on wet and dry surfaces during braking maneuvers and the tires' lateral traction in snow and slush leaves a lot to be desired. I would pick this tire again if I didn't have to contend with any inclement weather, but living in the northeast, I don't expect that to happen.

OE tires on the vehicle. Lasted 47K, wore evenly and road noise was not excessive. I was well pleased with these Goodyear tires although some OE tires on previous were sub par.

Winter traction disappoints, with many scores between 0-5 for ice and snow. Customers report slippery conditions, loss of control, and getting stuck. While some rate 7-10, inconsistent performance makes it unreliable in winter.

I live in Chicago and we got a lot of cold/snow and these tires are terrible with very low grip in snow. I drive slow and is very hard to get some grip on a stop sign streets when there is light snow.
I got my new vehicle on September 2025 and came with these OEM tires. I live in Chicago and we got a lot of cold/snow and these tires are terrible with very low grip in snow. I drive slow and is very hard to get some grip on a stop sign streets when there is light snow. The only positive that I noticed is that these tires seems to have low rolling resistance because the mpg I get is really good when the temps are in the 40's. I am currently looking for better options but would like to keep up with mpg because this is the reason I got this particular hybrid vehicle.
