Continental TerrainContact A/TThe TerrainContact A/T is Continental's On-Road All-Terrain tire developed for the drivers of pickup trucks, Jeeps, SUVs and crossover vehicles looking for civilized behavior on-road with the benefit of off-road capability when they need it. Designed to combine a quiet highway ride and long tread life with all-terrain performance, the TerrainContact A/T provides year-round traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, even in snow.

TerrainContact A/T tires feature a +Silane enhanced all-season compound molded into a mild all-terrain tread pattern. The open pattern improves traction off-road, while the stable tread blocks and closed shoulder design help provide long tread life and resist uneven wear. The +Silane additives further extend tread life and increase wet grip, and the full-depth sipes and edge-of-the-block traction grooves increase all-season traction throughout the life of the tire.

Internal construction of the TerrainContact A/T includes two high-tensile steel belts with a spirally-wound polyamide reinforcement supported by a two-ply casing.

Good tires so far as I'm very glad I replaced my old Generals just before the east coast snow storm in late Jan. We had snow & ice, so I had a chance to put these new tires to the test. They've performed very well & have good traction in the snow and ice/sleets. Once it turned into all ice, of course the traction wasn't as good but for sleet & snow they've performed very well...

Balance & traction on dry pavement is good but the tires are a little loud on the interstate. Small price to pay for the harder compound tires that are rated for 85K

These are great all season tires, and hold up well to Upstate NY winters...

These tires were on sale at the time they were bought. I had the same tires on my car previously but it was time to replace them. These are great all season tires, and hold up well to Upstate NY winters. They were delivered quicker than expected, too!

Tires grip good in dry solid road surface conditions...

Tires hold air. Tires are round. Tires don't have much tread noise. I drive like a grandmother in straight lines and don't slow down for corners in the name of gas mileage. Tires grip good in dry solid road surface conditions. Traffic circles are entertaining. 2006 F-150 with 5.4L Triton 391k miles averaging 20.5 mpg over last 18 months. Truck rides rough on local very poor roads but this is due to the suspension, not tires. I spent a lot of time on the track in my younger years with essentially slicks, so I don't test the traction to the limits in the rain. Truck will hydro plane in puddles due to rutted roads, must slow down or avoid ruts if there is not oncoming traffic. One time hit spilled oil in a hard 90 degree turn during commute home and things got interesting but ended up ok.

We haven't had the tires long, but I did notice they were quieter than the OEM tires they replaced. The ride is comfortable.

Just had them installed last week and have only driven them about 50 miles. Initial impressions are that they are a very quiet, comfortable, and competent tire for my Volvo wagon. I’m sure they will serve me well with the limited driving that I do.
