Michelin Defender LTX Platinum 

Great tires. Drove from PA to MA in driving rain. Even at 70 mph, no hint of hydroplaning. Never drove on tires this good in the rain. This morning, I drove on twisty, hilly roads. Never chirped once, even when pushing it a bit in corners.

These tires lasted me 62,000+ miles and I just bought them again. They’re great in the rain

Coming from Michelin AS 3+, I was hoping this tire would rise to the occasion. So far, very pleased. More miles should tell the tale. Wet and dry traction very good, steering response a bit less precise than the Michelin as expected but ride is a bit more comfy.

This is the second set of these tires I've purchased for our vehicles. The first set is 4-1/2 years old and on my wife's BMW. We live in Alaska, where conditions really test a tire's capabilities, and they've proven to be excellent All-Weather tires as advertised. Plenty of tread life left as well. I have recommended these tires to several friends and they are all very pleased with their performance. I would definitely buy them again.

So far so good. Haven't had them long but did very well in the snow, although we only got a few inches. Did well on wet highway as well.

I haven't put many miles on these tires but my exhaustive research indicates these will last a long time and should be terrific in snow and ice (haven't experienced yet). Wet and dry performance have been stunning.
The downside I have seen from others have been experienced - Highway gas mileage has gone down at least 2 mpg.
It's fine with me because there is always give and take with tires - these tires are superb in good weather and clearly will be as close as you can get to true winter tires - so I am more than willing to sacrifice 2+ mpg. After all, it's better than dealing with 2 sets of tires every year.
It's worth noting these are replacements for the older Assurance triple tread tires that I owed in the past. They were nothing short of amazing.

I've only got 2000 miles on these tires, but they are a million times better than the standard garbage that came with the car. They ride much quieter, have better traction on wet and dry roads and my gas mileage has stayed at 27.6 mpg on average.

Got these tires after having Pirelli P7s plus all seasons tires on my car replaced after 4k miles on them. The Pirelli's were very quiet and smooth but tracked poorly on grooved pavement.
These Weather Ready tires are unbelievable sure-footed in winter weather. I drove from SF Ca. to Lake Tahoe NV and ended up hitting rain, snow, and ice in the mountains. I first noticed the tires have more road noise than P7s but the strange thing when I hit the cold weather (5 degrees) and light snow the tires became much quieter and gripper. The ice and snow traction is like I've never felt before traction is so good.
On the drive back home after the tires got some miles on them they became a bit smoother and quieter on the freeway.
On the dry pavement, the tires grip the road almost like a high performance tire or V rated.
I really like these tires and very happy with all aspects of them.

These are not only very good looking tires but also exceptional in performance, I immediately noticed the difference in ride quality and comfort(my old tires were Michelin Primacy that I didn't like much) and braking. Its tread pattern is amazing and I could feel it holding steady in rain conditions. I can't review on their icy/snow performance as we haven't had any such conditions yet, will be sure to come back again once we're hit with icy/snow weather. So far, I'm loving these tires and would recommend.

First off - Tire Rack had an INSANE Black Friday rebate deal on these.. Got $300 back using a Goodyear credit card. That rebate pushed me towards these tires. I'm glad I got them. The tires they replaced (not worn out yet) were struggling in the wet from a full stop... The new Goodyear's... They fixed that problem. They provide great traction, great on wet roads, great cornering stability, I would definitely buy them again.

I have no complaints at all about this tire. My Elantra is just an economy car, so I can’t judge these tires as to their handling/cornering/traction limits. The car tracks perfectly straight on the highway, there is zero tire noise, and there is more traction than I will ever use on both wet and dry surfaces. And ride comfort is just fine. These tires are every bit as good as the original Kumhos that came with the car. I would 100% buy these Goodyears again.

A bargain. Perfect tire for this car. No noise at all, soft comfortable ride, plenty of grip in all conditions, car tracks straight. And still look nearly new after 20k plus miles and wearing evenly. Note: I rotate every 5k.
