Most customers give wet traction 7-10, praising confident grip and wet braking. Some note lower scores (3-6) citing occasional hydroplaning concerns.

...Wet, ice you name it, handling very sure and solid to the road.
I was very surprised regarding the performance of these tires after having Michelin Pilot 3's which I loved. They came as oem and outperformed them in all categories. Ride exceptionally quiet, handling amazing at all speeds and my Tesla flys! Wet, ice you name it, handling very sure and solid to the road. The only complaint I have is they are already between 7 and 8/32 and with only 14K miles expected less wear. Driving for work a lot the one thing I like the most is the soft and quiet ride.

+35K miles on my OEM tires - 2021 MYLR AWD - I drive like an old man (lifetime Wh/mi is 247). During the worst ice storm in the south in decades, these tires got me to and from work w/o issue - despite driving by multiple vehicles stuck on the ice. Tesla and Goodyear for the win.

These were the OE Tires for my Tesla Model Y. They worked great dry and wet conditions above about 45°F then below 45°F they’re pretty hard. Not bad mind you , you just have to drive a little more carefully understanding they won’t have the same wet traction in cold temperatures below 45.
I bought winter tires for when the temperatures get cold like consistently in the 30s or lower.
I hear that these will not do well in the snow because they are basically a warm weather tread compound. I have not driven them in the snow to verify that for sure myself but there are many people on the internet stating this. It makes sense if the tire is designed for warmer weather the tread will be too hard for winter weather.
My original set of these tires I got almost 36,000 miles which is not a lot but sounds like it’s a good amount for an electric vehicle and these tires in particular so I’m pleased. Pleased enough to buy another set for summer and warm temps.
Quiet rolling and great handling! These tires do what they are designed to do. Spirited driving has never been a problem as long as they are in their temperature range.
I feel you get great confidence and sure handling and they are quiet which is hugely important in an electric vehicle.

...These tires have great grip in the summer months, dry traction is amazing...
I'm not sure how they can call these "All Season" tires. You can only get around in the snow as long as you're on roads that have been salted and stoned. But the moment you get onto a road that hasn't been touched and on a small hill, you can't go anywhere with these tires. These tires have great grip in the summer months, dry traction is amazing, wet is also good. But forget about winter months. I wouldn't trust these tires. I would only consider these 3 season tires, not all season.

...Dry Traction and Noise are fine, no issues there.
These tires came OE on my 2020 Model Y. My single largest issue with these tires is that they are not All Season worthy as marked, and they are wearing out fast. DO NOT attempt to drive these in winter conditions. I believe these are really just a UHP
Summer tire that GY stamped with M+S to make it look like an All season tire. Don’t be fooled. Dry Traction and Noise are fine, no issues there.

I had these as an OEM summer tire and they’re great in warm and dry conditions, cornering and hard/fast turns, are amazing. They are quite as can be, but road ribs can be felt. It’s a great tire as a summer tire, this is NOT an all season tire in my book. This feels more like a Pilot Sport than an UHP all season. I use the Michelin pilot PA4 snow tire in cold weather. This tire should be used very sparingly in winter. I’m actually surprised that the foam made such a difference in sound.

Better than original tire on my Tesla MYLR. Windows down, I hear the wind, not road noise. Smooth, comfortable ride, and great performance in snow. EV efficient, no negative impact on my range. Will absolutely buy these again.

These come standard on the model Y with the 20" induction wheels. These are very nice rubber. Great grip and good comfort. Unlike cars in the past I'll be getting the OEM tires to replace these when the time comes!

Good enough wet & dry traction. However, snow and ice traction is horrendous. Tires feel genuinely dangerous in even a dusting of snow.
These should not be labeled all seasons. Do yourself a favor and switch out for a proper all season, or get a set of dedicated winter tires if you regularly encounter snow/ice.

...These tires are not good for winter conditions/driving. I have had better experience in my two wheel/front wheel drive vehicle than I have had with these tires in my all wheel drive system...
I have had many cars and a variety of tires as well as good experience driving in the winter conditions. I work as a Nurse/Essential working in the hospital and I have to get out regardless of the weather conditions. These tires are not good for winter conditions/driving. I have had better experience in my two wheel/front wheel drive vehicle than I have had with these tires in my all wheel drive system. I don't feel as safe and I think these are good tires if in an area like California or Arizona where there is not likely a chance of snow. I don't have the money to replace the tire as I just spent 56k on the new vehicle.

...Winter driving on the other hand...it was winter when car was purchased and that winter the tires did ok, their 2nd winter was very mild so hard to gauge, this winter...woof. Now given the tread is running quite low, but honestly any amount of snow on the road now is a problem. If you were looking at these aftermarket and drive in a wintry state, don't bother, there are plenty of other tires that are worth your time...
These were the OEM tires. After almost 31,000 miles the tires are down to 4/32nds of tread on the back and 5/32nds on the front. Which on a Tesla is average from what I've gathered. Ride comfort seemed ok, tough to tell as the version of the tire on my model Y is a lower profile version so the sidewall has to be quite stiff. If you are looking for a smoother ride on a Model Y you definitely should be looking at the 19inch Gemini wheels. The 20 inch Inductions, and 21 inch Uberturbines are just too low profile to give a smooth ride. Their stiffness does lead to better cornering though in dry conditions. Dry performance was solid and wet performance for the first 20,000 miles was good and for the last 10,000 miles has been fair to good. Hydroplaning resistance has dropped off badly with less tread (to be expected), but when new was decent. Winter driving on the other hand...it was winter when car was purchased and that winter the tires did ok, their 2nd winter was very mild so hard to gauge, this winter...woof. Now given the tread is running quite low, but honestly any amount of snow on the road now is a problem. If you were looking at these aftermarket and drive in a wintry state, don't bother, there are plenty of other tires that are worth your time. Honestly Goodyear shouldn't be allowed to put M+S on these tires...that's a joke.

...And on top of that the tread life is awful for the price per tire.
I have lived in Western NY for the last 20+ years and have gotten by with all seasons on many different cars both FWD and AWD, as my commute to work is fairly short so when I bought the Tesla I thought I’ll be fine. Let me tell you it is the totally opposite, as many have said this is not a true all season. I fully understand why they say the tire makes the car, it’s an amazing car but driving it on anything other than dry pavement was not always a joy. Dry pavement is fine, wet road (not actively raining) was okay could be better, driving during the rain was 0/10 the tires felt like they wanted to hydroplane and the snow/slush/ice driving was the worst thing for these tires. And on top of that the tread life is awful for the price per tire.

These tires came as original issue on my new car. I wore them nearly bald, but got nearly 3 years and 48k miles out of them. I decided to just stick with what worked before, but the second time around, at barely more than a year and 19k miles, I was told that I already needed new tires again with a tread depth of only 5.5 / 32. It was then that I found out that there is no tread warranty. For as much as these cost, I don't want to buy a new set every 18 months. I will be trying a different tire the next time around.
