These tires took a beating. Three really nasty upstate New York winters, including an ice storm, and that horrendous blizzard that incapacitated New York City last winter.
These tires are very good 'dry' all-season tires; they respond very well and hang on to the road in dry conditions. It doesn't grip the road as well in slightly wet conditions, especially when you start coming to an end to its tread. When it does break traction, it does so in a very predictable manner. It does resist hydroplaning very well, however diminish very quickly in extremely wet conditions and with low tread life. It isn't as quiet as I would like it to be, but it isn't unreasonable.
To summarize what I liked:

I have a set of 20in 275/55 on my Z-71 pick up. I dont know about snow, but I just purchased these tires in a package, and they handle a whole lot better then the Firestone Wilderness OEM Chevy tires. I drove home in the rain, and I didnt notice any untoward behavior....but then again, my truck went from 265-75 16s to these, so one would expect a performance increase on the street. Dont know about wear, but they are only rated @ 360...so I did not buy them with that in mind. Dry handling is excellent, and since I live in So Cal, thats works for me. Quiter then the Firestones!!!

I put 2 of these tires on the rear wheels and instantly I felt completely unstable driving home. They are not very good in the rain, and even worse on the snow. I can say this because I had no traction problems with the dunlops that were on the car previously. To this day I don't like and wouldn't recommend these tires to anyone, let alone the driver of a rear wheel drive car.

I have had a GREAT experience with these tires and would indeed consider purchasing them again when the time comes. I currently have 32,500 miles on these tires and will probably be able to keep them another 30,000. These tires have provided a quiet, comfortable and very responsive ride. There is little treadwear or edgewear for that matter and I imagine it can be related to the fact that I dont drive like a maniac and do check the tire pressure regularly. I also have no problems with my alignment and do not tend to brake harshly on a regular basis to contribute unnecessarily to treadwear. Ive also never had any experiences with "aquaplaning". Also, as these are not snow tires, it probably isnt a good idea to drive in the snow.

Goodyear Eagles with TPMS were installed as OEM on our 2006 Murano. We rotated the tires every 8000 miles and re-positioned as per the manual directions. All tires wore dead even to 45K and now time to replace. Very satisfied with ride quality, performance and noise through all seasons. Definitely the best OEM tires I have ever had and I'm replacing with a new set of the same.

I replaced Michelin's Cross Terrain for a new set of Goodyear Eagles LS due to unrepairable flat and significant ware out on remaining tires.
There is not many tires available in this particular size and they are a special order tires almost everywhere. Despite not the very best ratings on Tire Rack site, I decided to give it a try to Eagles due to the price and next day availability.
I must say that these tires brought back the comfort and quiet ride to my MO.
Comparing to Michelin's they are softer and cornering is not as stiff however Eagles "stick" to the pavement like a suction cups. Also Eagles are great in the rain - you do not feel any difference between dry and wet road. They are excellent when braking on wet and dry. I do not know if this is all so nice just because they are brand new and I compare them to fairly worn out Cross Terrains but I hope they will stay the way they are.
I will not be able to comment on the Eagles ride in the snow as I have a set of the Blizzak's and I have to drive on winter tires to comply with the local law.
I can recommend this tire to anyone who is looking for a safety, comfort and quite ride.
BTW I had OEM Goodyear tires many years ago on my Honda and I hated them.
I am glad that I gave Eagles a try. So far I am happy about my choice.

These tires came OE on my Neon in an extremely odd size making it hard to not buy Goodyears again. Where these budget tires, they would be fine, but they are nowhere near worth the purchase price. 25,500 and the tires are all but shot. They lose grip easy, wear terribly, flat spot easily. By the second rotation (10,000), the corners were showing signs of wear. They are a cheap touring tire price like a performacne tire, primarily designed to ride quietly and smoothly, which they excel at. Grip in wet weather is poor to scary, almost like a summer tire. Any other tire is a better value.

These are the worst tires in all categories that have ever been on a car of mine. They came as OEM on my Grand Marquis LSE. A very high noise level and total lack of wet traction. A friend of mine had thesame experience and he immediately replaced them with Michelin Harmony. He said it is a totally different car and now an enjoyable experience to drive. I intend to replace mine with Michelin Harmony also. Thank you.

These tires came on the car. With 48000 miles on these tires, I can tell you with confidence that these tires are terrible. The VW golf is not a powerful car but i can still break the tires lose on dry pavement and in wet conditions I will lose all traction if i gun it. Living in connecticut, I have had my share of driving in the snow, these tires are absolutely horrible in light snow, i wont drive unless the roads have been plowed because these tires are so bad. The only good thing about these tires is the tread life which is about 50,000 miles, but for me it was a negative because I could not wait to wear them out so i could replace them! DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!

My NEXT purchase will be the Goodyear TripleTred. I bought TripleTred about 5 years ago for my Camero and my Ford Ranger Edge truck and loved them.

Wet traction on these tires is horrible. I had to stop quickly on wet pavement and almost rear-end another car this week. Going 15 miles an hour I slid about 10 feet after hitting the brakes. Would have hit it but I steered left at the last moment. Bought the car used at a Nissan dealership and they put these tires on the car. Tread wear is abysmal as well. Be lucky to see 30000 miles. Never again will I use Goodyear tires.
