The Eagle Sport All-Season is Goodyear's Ultra High Performance All-Season radial developed for the drivers of sports cars, coupes, sedans and performance-oriented light trucks looking to combine sporty handling with all-season traction. Eagle Sport All-Season tires are designed to offer drivers all-season versatility in dry and wet conditions with year-round traction, even in light snow.
The Eagle Sport All-Season features an innovative all-season tread compound molded into a large surface tread contact area asymmetric design to offer consistent performance across a broad range of vehicles. Linked outboard shoulder blocks backed by notched center ribs and connected inboard shoulder blocks enhance steering response, handling and wear. Circumferential grooves help evacuate water to increase traction in wet weather, while full-depth sipes preserve foul-weather traction as the tire wears.
The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped polyamide to combine uniform ride quality with high-speed capability. One of the Eagle Sport All-Season tire line's highlights is its internal construction that features Goodyear's RaceWrap Construction Technology developed for the Eagle Race tires used in NASCAR competition. RaceWrap Construction Technology brings a polyester cord casing ply down the sidewall at a slight angle, wraps around the bead and returns it all the way up the sidewall until it ends under the edge of the steel belts. This slightly angled, two-ply sidewall enhances steering response and handling stability.

...In the wet, just incredible! I never had a tire perform as well in the rain. As hard as I tried, I could not get these tires to hydroplane...
The original Hankooks on my Chevy Sonic were absolutely the worst tires I have ever owned. In the snow, you are better off leaving the car in the driveway. I recently put a set of Goodyear Eagle Sport All Seasons on my Chevrolet Sonic LTZ sedan. Huge improvement over the Hankooks. Ride, handling and noise have improved considerably. The car feels more glued to the road and the steering is much more responsive. In the wet, just incredible! I never had a tire perform as well in the rain. As hard as I tried, I could not get these tires to hydroplane. Today I had an opportunity to drive with my Eagles in two inches of snow for the first time. They were very good in the snow. There was some ice in certain spots, which I would rate the ice performance average. Still, traction control and ABS only came on once. With the original tires, they would come on non-stop. These Eagle Sport All Season tires are simply outstanding! It is evident that Goodyear brought some of their success from the racetrack to the street, by integrating proven race technology into the design and engineering of this passenger car tires.

...Anyway these tires are sure footed, quiet and are great in wet conditions.
replaced the OEM tires was looking for a more quiet tire that still was able to push things every once and a while. My gas mileage did increase went almost a 1 mpg more. think folks are driving harder because these tires welcome it vs. their older ones that probably had less traction/stability and higher noise level changing their driving habits. these are sport tires and would think most are a sports type of car meaning they are probably not driven like a econo crate. Anyway these tires are sure footed , quiet and are great in wet conditions.

...Rain traction is great. Rain traction has gotten better as they break-in...
Direct steering feel. Wife loves it on the minivan. Firm yet very quiet and smooth ride. Driving on curvy roads is much more enjoyable. Changing lanes is immediate. Rain traction is great. Rain traction has gotten better as they break-in. The rim protector is a nice bonus near curbs. We love them. Perfect fit for our tastes in wanting good steering feel and cornering and quiet ride.

...Easily got my wife (a nurse) to work in light snow with these tires and my RWD Benz...
Great tire overall, nevermind at this price point! I have already bought another set for my other vehicle. They are wearing at a pace that they should go just beyond the treadlife warranty. Great steering responsiveness and cornering, and I have never had any issues with wet traction. Easily got my wife (a nurse) to work in light snow with these tires and my RWD Benz. A worthy successor to the Eagle GT, which I had three sets of, but admittedly I liked the looks of the GTs better.

...After getting whacked with the Great Recession I decided to save some money and I purchased these Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Seasons, at the same time thinking it would be a compromise for winter driving. To my surprise these tires work very well in the winter!...
Without compromise, I normally use snow tires in the winter and performance tires for summer. After getting whacked with the Great Recession I decided to save some money and I purchased these Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Seasons, at the same time thinking it would be a compromise for winter driving. To my surprise these tires work very well in the winter! If you're buying all-season tires you'll be pleased with these.

...My trip involved a lot of highway miles, about 100 miles worth of winding mountain roads, and some snow/iced roads... I did notice some wheel slippage on the icy roads, but that was to be expected so I won't really hold it against the tires...
This is an initial review of these tires, I will be doing a follow up review once I put more miles on them. They replaced the original 16" Dunlop SP Sport 7000 A/S that came equipped on my Accord sedan. I had them installed and took them on a short road trip the very next day which was perfect for breaking the tires in. I didn't get to test the handling as much since they were still so new, but in terms of steering response, I would say they were about the same as the Dunlops. Ride comfort is only marginally stiffer than the Dunlops, but my car has aftermarket coilovers installed so comfort is not something that concerns me a lot, YMMV. The road noise with these Goodyears seem to be almost non-existent under 40mph, but at highway speeds, the road noise is almost on par with the Dunlops. It's loud enough to force you to raise your voice when talking to passengers, but not unbearable (I wish I had recorded decibel readings on the Dunlops to compare, but at highway speeds they are pretty similar).
Overall, my initial impressions of this tire are very positive. I like the way it handled during my short trip from Los Angeles to Sequoia NP. My trip involved a lot of highway miles, about 100 miles worth of winding mountain roads, and some snow/iced roads. Although steering isn't super sharp, it is still very much predictable, and grip was almost always there. I did notice some wheel slippage on the icy roads, but that was to be expected so I won't really hold it against the tires. For the price point, I would definitely recommend these tires. They are very good handling, decently comfortable tires, at a price that beats a lot of its competitors.

...Dry traction and cornering is fantastic!...
So I drive for work, and have put about 10k miles on these tires so far. I have done no less than seven 100 mile+ trips through snow storms so far with these tires and am thoroughly impressed. My car is very light (235 width) and a light 1.6L Ecoboost motor. My car handles tenfold better than it did with the stock Michelin energy. The only thing i'd say is you can feel more road imperfections over the stock Michelins. But, I've had no vibrations at all with these tires even when it was neg 9 here. Dry traction and cornering is fantastic! Wet traction is great. Snow and Ice traction is impressive, even during braking. Take off isn't the best, but that's more due to the vehicle itself. Going between 40-50 on the highway with DEEP snow is what impresses me the most with these tires. They're no snow tire, but I would recommend them to anyone who has to deal with all four seasons. So far the tread is down to 9/32. It looks like I will get 40-50k miles on these tires

...Cornering stability and responsiveness are excellent, dry and wet traction are very good and they're even decent in light snow or on packed snow...
So far so good with these Goodyear Eagle Sports. Cornering stability and responsiveness are excellent, dry and wet traction are very good and they're even decent in light snow or on packed snow. They are as quiet as the surface you're driving on and the ride is comfortable but note that with the stiff sidewall you will feel small imperfections in the road surface. I recommend these tires and would buy them again.

I have 36,000 on the tires and they have performed well above expectations. My "other" car is a 2019 Grand Sport Corvette so switching between cars is not easy, but these tires do a great job on a vehicle MUCH heavier. Tread wear and traction is above expectations - cornering and breaking are great.
Will buy them again

...Treadwear is pretty good...40k on these and they're still doing well, whereas the OEM's were only good for 24K...
Massive improvement versus the OEM Bridgestones! Very good wet and dry traction, but fairly useless in any significant snow. Treadwear is pretty good.....40k on these and they're still doing well, whereas the OEM's were only good for 24K. All in all: A good choice on Camry SE V6 but I'm going to something else next to try to get some improvement in snow.

...I faithfully rotated tires every 5,000 miles and today they told me I have put on 48,053 miles. GOOD NEWS for Goodyear...my Eagle Sports are barely showing any wear. I may get another 25,000 miles out of them...
Driving a hot rod Dodge Challenger with a 5.7L Hemi can go through tires in a hurry!!!haha I went through 2 other types of high performance tires quickly which only lasted around 18,000 miles each set. No I do not punch it, burn rubber or race it. I went through 2 sets just on highway commuting. I purchased Goodyear Eagle Sport A/S 245/45 20 103W. Best investment ever!!!!! I faithfully rotated tires every 5,000 miles and today they told me I have put on 48,053 miles. GOOD NEWS for Goodyear....my Eagle Sports are barely showing any wear. I may get another 25,000 miles out of them. I really hope I do because then that's something to brag about when you drive a hot rod.
