Grand Touring All-Season tires are for drivers who want a combination of a sophisticated appearance, competent handling and H-speed rated (or higher) durability, along with all-season traction, including in light snow. Grand Touring All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on sophisticated coupes and luxurious performance sedans.
O.E. Grand Touring All-Season tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle's original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range, and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires' performance category and specifications.
Limited sizes of the Eagle Touring are available with Goodyear's SoundComfort™ technology, which involves the manufacturer adhering a layer of sound-absorbing foam to the inner liner of the tire to reduce cabin noise in the vehicle. These sizes are identified on the Specs page and in the search results.

Treadwear shows significant concerns, with frequent low scores (0-5) highlighting rapid wear and disappointing tread life. Winter traction struggles with ice and deep snow, scoring 0-5 for many users, falling short of all-season expectations. Wet traction earns positive marks (7-10) for reliable grip and hydroplaning resistance, though some note variability in heavy rain. Dry traction stands out as a strength, with consistent 9-10 ratings for confident handling and responsive steering.

...They are very resistant to hydroplaning as well, which is much needed here in Florida.
Great set of tires. These tires ride extremely quiet and smooth, and are very responsive for a touring tire. These replaced the OEM Continental Pure Contacts, which were exceptional tires, however, they¿re extremely pricey. I only have 500 miles on these tires, and only time will tell how well they wear, but so far, I¿m extremely satisfied with these tires. They are very resistant to hydroplaning as well, which is much needed here in Florida.

This tire is quiet and rides smooth. It also handle well on wet surface. I know these tires are still new. However, Goodyear has been good for me in the past. Hopefully they continue to perform good.

...They have excellent dry traction and aren't noisy...
I’m so confused by all the negative reviews. My only guess is because this tire is OEM on a lot of vehicles and the tires just sit on the lot too long and lose performance characteristics.
These are a great all-around tire. I put on snow-tires for winter, so I have no experience in deep-snow. They have excellent dry traction and aren’t noisy. Never had traction problems in the wet, but I’m sure if I drove too fast in certain conditions, I could get them to understeer.

...These Goodyears are very quiet and give a nice comfortable ride...
This is a great set of tires. With 30K miles on them, they still look new. These Goodyears are very quite and give a nice comfortable ride. Snow and ice traction was just ok, but I never got stuck. It's nice to get a tire that is as good as these are, for such a reasonable price. These are pretty close to being perfect.

Very smooth and comfortable tire... I love the comfort from this tire...
Very smooth and comfortable tire, Unfortunately the thread will not last much. I use this vehicle as my daily driver and the tires only lasted abut 11 months. (10 months if you stop counting when the thread hit the "legal" minimum thread) I love the comfort from this tire, But I cannot replace a set every year.

Winter traction ratings show mixed results with concerning lows (scores 0-5) and some highs. Many report slippery in snow, lack of winter traction, and getting stuck, making it unreliable for all-season winter conditions despite intended use.

This tire should not be used anywhere that has winter. This tire is worthless in any snow, zero stopping ability and horrible grip...
This tire is the worst tire I've had on a vehicle in 30 years. I scraped them at 10k miles due to safety concerns. This tire should not be used anywhere that has winter. This tire is worthless in any snow, zero stopping ability and horrible grip. The tire was loud on dry pavement and never provided any handling confidence. I will never consider a Goodyear product after this tire experience.

The worst tires I have ever had on a car . Living in a snowy state, I have had all-season tires that do a fair to good job of dealing with snow and icy road conditions. These do not. Even a light dusting confounds these tires. I had zero confidence over light snow, and small patches of ice or packed snow under any one tire caused it to slide alarmingly. Even on dry pavement, these tires slip when accelerating from stopped with anything beyond the lightest of throttle. As a result, I am replacing with fewer than 10,000 miles on them. Going with Vredestein Quatracs, which the other two family vehicles already have installed. Those are excellent all-season tires that perform very well on wintry roads.

These tires are terrible in the snow. Four inches of snow and I could barely get up my driveway with AWD. Turning and acceleration on snow packed roads is not good either. Tires are loud on drive payment. Decent in rain, fine on gravel/offroad. I do not recommend and cant wait to switch these out.

Treadwear disappoints with numerous 0-6 scores citing premature wear and early replacement. While some rate 8-10, frequent mentions of rapid tread loss and dissatisfaction highlight concerning tread life for this all-season tire.

These tires wear very poorly and are almost bald at 26k miles. They seem to be absolute debris magnets. I have managed to average a puncture every 8000 miles with these tires. I'm not sure if it is the low profile that attracts nails, bolts, and screws, but I will not be buying these again.

...After 20k miles they are shot and no mileage warranty applies...
Here's a tip. NBG (never buy Goodyears). These were factory tires. After 20k miles they are shot and no mileage warranty applies. I would never recommend these tires. I'll be going back to my tried and true Michelins for my next set.
