Tire Rack Test

Does this tire fit your vehicle?

Tires are designed specifically for different vehicles and wheel sizes. Tell us about your vehicle or the specific size you want so we can help find the right tires for you.

The Goodyear Integrity has become a popular Passenger All-Season tire as the result of being chosen as an Original Equipment fitment on numerous family coupes, sedans, minivans and crossover vehicles. Integrity radials blend low rolling resistance tread compounds and internal constructions tuned to enhance vehicle fuel efficiency with year-round traction, even in occasional light snow.

Integrity tires mold an all-season tread rubber compound into a symmetric tread design that combines a continuous center rib to provide constant rubber-to-road contact and increase dry road traction as well as reduce noise. Independent shoulder blocks, circumferential grooves and siped intermediate tread blocks promote foul weather traction. The tire's internal structure includes twin, high-tensile steel belts on top of a polyester cord body to enhance reliability and ride.

*Specific sizes featuring low rolling resistance technology are identified as such on the Sizes tab, as well as on the tire's Specs tab.

Can eco-friendly, low rolling resistance tires make a difference in fuel economy, driving costs and the environment?

Tire Rack arranged to get a small fleet of the 2009 2nd generation Toyota Prius hybrids to test low rolling resistance tires. The Goodyear Integrity O.E. tire was the baseline we compared to other tire choices for the Prius. Tires tested included eco-friendly aftermarket tires for hybrid and fuel-efficient compact cars as well as the Goodyear Assurance ComforTred which prioritizes ride comfort and long wear over fuel efficiency.

Customers Say

Customer feedback indicates the Goodyear Integrity tire delivers reliable dry traction (scores 7-10), with many customers praising its confident handling in dry conditions. However, concerns arise in other areas: tread life receives mixed ratings, with some noting rapid wear. Comfort levels show inconsistency, with reports of road noise and varying ride smoothness. Winter traction struggles in snow and ice, while wet traction reveals hydroplaning risks and reduced grip. As an all-season touring tire, it meets basic dry performance expectations but falls short in key areas critical for year-round versatility.

...The traction (wet, dry) is good but they are noisy on braking and prone to uneven wear...

These tires came with my 2006 Magnum SE. The traction (wet, dry) is good but they are noisy--especially on braking--and prone to uneven wear. The rear passenger-side tire already has three plugs and the front passage tire is worn badly on the edges.

...They held stable for considerable distances at more than spirited driving. Predictable slippage when REALLY pushing the vehicle...

As for standard equipment on my corolla S, I couldn't be more pleased. The tire has performed up to my standards and has even surpassed my expectations. They held stable for considerable distances at more than spirited driving. Predictable slippage when REALLY pushing the vehicle. Incredibly surprised that with my driving style, they have held together quite well until now (I need new ones) after 31k+ miles in less than a year! Surprising grip available through snow in upstate NY, ice in PA, and heavy rain everywhere.

With only 30,000 miles, I expected better wear. These tires have very poor traction even in dry conditions; in wet, they are downright scary. Tried to use the mileage warranty from Goodyear, but it would cost me more than I paid for them to replace. Never again.

...Terrible in winter with any type of snow. There is very little traction...

Tire is an OEM. They are down to 4/32 after 27,000 miles. Tires have very uneven wear and make a lot of road noise. They are OK on dry surface, however make a lot of noise any type of corners. Terrible in winter with any thype of snow. There is very little traction. I am not comfortable or confident with these tires on my vehicle. These are the worst tires I have ever owned.

These tires have come on 2 different cars I have owned. I check the pressure weekly and am dilligent about up keep on my cars. These tires are dangerous at best. Wheel spin on moderate excelleration in dry conditions and very little traction in wet conditions. Useless in any winter conditions. Had to replace on first vehicle at 34000 miles. Have 36000 on current vehicle and tred is nearing replacement depth. These tires are garbage.

...Horrible in all snow conditions, just scary in the rain. The traction control doesnt help this car with these tires, I dont get it... Will probably get new tires before winter, wife will not drive in snow conditions with these tires again. She could barely get to her job, .07 miles from our house with 1/2 inch of snow on ground.

OEM for this car, really a bad tire for a rear wheel drive car. How Chrysler could pick this tire for this car is beyond me. Horrible in all snow conditions, just scary in the rain. The traction control doesnt help this car with these tires, I dont get it. Very smooth and quiet is all that they wanted i guess. Not much else. Will probably get new tires before winter, wife will not drive in snow conditions with these tires again. She could barely get to her job, .07 miles from our house with 1/2 inch of snow on ground.

These tires are quiet and smooth, handle well in dry weather...

These tires are quiet and smooth, handle well in dry weather, but are scary in wet weather, have had them slide in wet at low speeds, under 20 mph. Would hate to have to panic stop at higher speeds. Do not know why Honda will not put a quality tire on a quality automobile. Have had a lot of the same problems that the other Pilot drivers have had and to not trust this tire anymore on this auto. This tire may be better suited on a lighter car but not the 4400 lb Pilot.

When buying tires consider something else.

Terrible OEM tire mistake by Toyota. Had these on my 2004 Prius and hated them. I was ticked off when I found them on the Highlander. I would have been happier to see a tire from a maker I never heard of. Even with 4-wheel drive, anti-lock brakes, traction and stability control these tires were dangerous with less than 30,000 miles on a 50,000 mile tire and I usually have good tread left on my tires beyond the warranty period. Sipes were gone with plenty of tread on them.

The Prius, itself, is absolutely amazing. It performs above expectations and we continually beat the EPA overall mileage estimates. The Goodyear Integrity tires are just about worn out after 18,000 miles. This is in spite of rotating per the service manual and diligent attention to tire pressures. Toyota should include high quality tires on the Prius. These Goodyears are the only weak link in an otherwise nearly perfect machine. The reviews of the Michelin Hydroedge tire for this vehicle are favorable and will probably order those now. Have had MXV4 on my last two Accord EXs and they ran over 70k miles with plenty of tread left when I traded those cars in.
