Tire Rack Test

Does this tire fit your vehicle?

Tires are designed specifically for different vehicles and wheel sizes. Tell us about your vehicle or the specific size you want so we can help find the right tires for you.

The Goodyear Integrity has become a popular Passenger All-Season tire as the result of being chosen as an Original Equipment fitment on numerous family coupes, sedans, minivans and crossover vehicles. Integrity radials blend low rolling resistance tread compounds and internal constructions tuned to enhance vehicle fuel efficiency with year-round traction, even in occasional light snow.

Integrity tires mold an all-season tread rubber compound into a symmetric tread design that combines a continuous center rib to provide constant rubber-to-road contact and increase dry road traction as well as reduce noise. Independent shoulder blocks, circumferential grooves and siped intermediate tread blocks promote foul weather traction. The tire's internal structure includes twin, high-tensile steel belts on top of a polyester cord body to enhance reliability and ride.

*Specific sizes featuring low rolling resistance technology are identified as such on the Sizes tab, as well as on the tire's Specs tab.

Tire Rack Test Results Goodyear Integrity

When Round and Black Becomes Lean and Green(04:18)

Can eco-friendly, low rolling resistance tires make a difference in fuel economy, driving costs and the environment?

Tire Rack arranged to get a small fleet of the 2009 2nd generation Toyota Prius hybrids to test low rolling resistance tires. The Goodyear Integrity O.E. tire was the baseline we compared to other tire choices for the Prius. Tires tested included eco-friendly aftermarket tires for hybrid and fuel-efficient compact cars as well as the Goodyear Assurance ComforTred which prioritizes ride comfort and long wear over fuel efficiency.

Customers Say

Customer feedback indicates the Goodyear Integrity delivers strong dry traction (scores 7-10) with responsive handling, aligning with its Standard Touring All-Season design. Treadwear shows mixed results, with some reporting premature wear (scores 0-5) while others note decent longevity (scores 8-10). Ride comfort raises concerns, as many highlight a harsh ride quality and elevated noise (scores 1-5). Winter traction struggles in snow and ice (scores 0-5), with wet traction similarly limited by hydroplaning risks (scores 2-6). While suitable for dry conditions and everyday touring, buyers prioritizing all-season versatility may find its wet and winter performance lacking. Durability and comfort inconsistencies suggest trade-offs for budget-conscious drivers.

Summer driving is just fine, handles well and corners nice. In the snow and ice here in Montana could be better but then again these tires are on a light weight FWD import. Very good price for a steel belted tire made in the USA.

On a higher performance vehicle this tire grips very well on dry pavement... I would definately buy them again just for their grip on dry surfaces as they are outstanding there.

On a higher performance vehicle this tire grips very well on dry pavement but put a little water down anywhere in your path while trying to get up to speed and you will spin them very easily. I cant start on a hill in the rain period. I have to start on a flat area or facing downhill or they just sit and spin. I would definately buy them again just for their grip on dry surfaces as they are outstanding there.

Perhaps the worst tires I have ever driven on. These came new on my 2006 Pilot- I drove them for 10k white knucked miles before I replaced them with Michelin Cross Terrains. These tires are borderline dangerous on a Pilot in the rain. I became very familiar with the ABS and Traction control lights. The Goodyears hydroplane at the slightest assemblance of a puddle and would spin even at stop lights when we crossed the white line under modest throttle. We replace the tires showing NO wear at 10k with Cross Terrains- the difference is UNBELIEVABLE. Anyone who says they would by this tire again either workes for Goodyear or has never driven on a quality tire. I reterate- these are the WORST tires I have EVER driven on.

...In Floridas very wet driving conditions, these are without a doubt the worst tires that I have ever had on a vehicle... in the wet weather they might as well be racing slicks. During wet road acceleration, they break loose regardless or the throttle applied...

This is the factory tire that came on my Pilot. In Floridas very wet driving conditions, these are without a doubt the worst tires that I have ever had on a vehicle. These are car tires and should not be standard equipment for an SUV. In dry weather they are relatively good overall tires, but in the wet weather they might as well be racing slicks. During wet road acceleration, they break loose regardless or the throttle applied. And around turns and during braking in the wet, these tires provide little confidence as they never translate driver input down to the pavement.

If you frequently drive an SUV in the rain, and you are looking for amusement park type thrills, I highly recommend these tires. Just make sure your insurance coverage is paid up. They wear ok, they are good with regard to road noise, but its a shame that the poor wet weather performance far overshadows what is otherwise a good tire.

This tires came as OE on the Toyota Highlander. One of the worse tires I ever had. Very poor traction, especially in winter, ice, rain and snow. They also wear off quickly, although I don't see anybody use them when they are worn due to quickly worsening performance (you simply feel insecure driving with these tires).

...In winter, this tire is very hazardous with minimal traction on acceleration and long stopping distances...

The Integritys were supplied as original equipment. Overall performance rating would be 5 (fair) for spring, summer and fall driving conditions. In winter, this tire is very hazardous with minimal traction on acceleration and long stopping distances. The positive is the low rolling resistance for optimal fuel economy. I ran them up to 45K with frequent rotations. Handling became unpredictable and downright scary in the rain. They were replaced with Goodyear Triple Treds. An excellent tire, but noisy.

Bought the tires in Oct 2011. Initially they were ok. They are decent in dry conditions but terrible in wet and don't even think about trying them on snow. They will be replaced within the next few weeks after about 33k miles as the treads are essentially gone. They were rotated at the recommended intervals.

...Of the 3 new tires, 2 of those were out of round causing a very rough ride...

Integrity tires came on Town Car. Of the 4 tires, a Goodyear dealer determined 3 were out of round and were replaced by dealer. Of the 3 new tires, 2 of those were out of round causing a very rough ride. Having gone through 5, out of round tires, I lost confidence in Goodyear quality. I paid extra to replace all 4 Goodyear Ingegritys with Michelin Symetrys. I have had zero problems or issues with the Michelins in 26K miles. They ride wonderful and should last to approx. 70K+ miles. Beside improved ride quality, the Michelins allow noticable difference in less sway and rear end wiggle from such a large car.

The replacement tires were O.K. in that respect, however, all of the tires are extremely noisy at highway speeds. This is the one factor which would keep me from buying them again.

The tire handles well in wet and dry conditions and I've had no problem with hydroplaning. They seem to do fairly well in light snow but are really not made for deep snow traction. I purchased 4 of these tires and had to replace 2 immediately because they were out of round. The replacement tires were O.K. in that respect, however, all of the tires are extremely noisy at highway speeds. This is the one factor which would keep me from buying them again.

...The Integritys are noisy, ride horribly, and are simply awful in wet conditions...

I have now driven 7,900 miles on these OEM tires on my 06 Impala. Nothing about these tires impresses me. I am amazed that there are people continuing to run these on Honda Pilots, Toyota Highlanders, and Lexus RXs. I am further amazed at the number of reviews actually recommending these tires and downplaying the negative reviews. The Integritys are noisy, ride horribly, and are simply awful in wet conditions. They are also wearing oddly (both the tread and the sidewalls). I looked at mine closely yesterday and just cant pinpoint the odd wear. It is like the serrated sidewall has changed appearance on the front tires when compared to the rears. People think I am overreacting when I tell them how bad they are. My father recently rented a 2006 Monte Carlo that had these tires, and called while driving the rental car to let me know he now understands my frustration with these tires. He was driving the Monte Carlo in the rain and said he had very poor traction. Now he is encouraging me to dump the Goodyears on my own Impala ASAP just in the name of safety. I will be doing that in the next few weeks. Not sure what I will be buying, but I am sure 99% of the possible tires out there will be better. I also see that these are currently priced at $81 each in the Impalas 16" size. These tires would possibly be a borderline "bargain" if they were in the $50 range and you wanted a Goodyear labeled tire. However with Kumho, Yokohama, and Bridgestone offering better tires in the $80 range the Integrity is simply a poor choice for any vehicle.

I only managed 25K miles from these tires which were OEM on my Toyota Prius. Its not like this car can do smoky burnouts. The tire treads wore down very fast, and I cant trust them on snow or ice with such low tread. I spent some big $$$ and went with Michelin HydroEdge tires to replace, and Im very happy so far with those...well see how they perform in the white stuff--so far theyve been great in the rain.
