The Goodyear Integrity has become a popular Passenger All-Season tire as the result of being chosen as an Original Equipment fitment on numerous family coupes, sedans, minivans and crossover vehicles. Integrity radials blend low rolling resistance tread compounds and internal constructions tuned to enhance vehicle fuel efficiency with year-round traction, even in occasional light snow.
Integrity tires mold an all-season tread rubber compound into a symmetric tread design that combines a continuous center rib to provide constant rubber-to-road contact and increase dry road traction as well as reduce noise. Independent shoulder blocks, circumferential grooves and siped intermediate tread blocks promote foul weather traction. The tire's internal structure includes twin, high-tensile steel belts on top of a polyester cord body to enhance reliability and ride.
*Specific sizes featuring low rolling resistance technology are identified as such on the Sizes tab, as well as on the tire's Specs tab.

Can eco-friendly, low rolling resistance tires make a difference in fuel economy, driving costs and the environment?
Tire Rack arranged to get a small fleet of the 2009 2nd generation Toyota Prius hybrids to test low rolling resistance tires. The Goodyear Integrity O.E. tire was the baseline we compared to other tire choices for the Prius. Tires tested included eco-friendly aftermarket tires for hybrid and fuel-efficient compact cars as well as the Goodyear Assurance ComforTred which prioritizes ride comfort and long wear over fuel efficiency.
Feedback consistently shows the Goodyear Integrity delivers reliable dry traction (scores 7-10) with responsive handling, making it a solid choice for everyday driving. However, customers report significant concerns: treadwear varies widely, with many noting premature wear (scores 0-5 dominate). Comfort receives mixed feedback, as some praise ride smoothness while others mention road noise. Winter traction is consistently rated low (scores 0-4 common), raising doubts about snow/ice capability. Wet performance also draws criticism, with hydroplaning resistance and wet grip frequently cited as weaknesses. While strong in dry conditions, buyers prioritizing all-season versatility may find its limitations in other areas impactful.

...Combined with the AWD and traction control - these tires performed flawlessly... A nice ride in the summer and a sure grip in the winter...
After 70000 miles, it's time to get a new set of tires. These were OEM's on the Mitsubishi. Combined with the AWD and traction control - these tires performed flawlessly. If it weren't for winter approaching in the Midwest, I'd probably push a few more miles out of these tires. I have already ordered the exact same tires for replacement....why?....let me say it again - 70,000 miles, and tread left to boot! I'm not an agressive driver but I do prefer to stay on the road. A nice ride in the summer and a sure grip in the winter. Are there better tires out there...sure...but could I get 70000 out of them???? For the average price, it seems like a good investment.

...Going through sharp corners at unreasonable speeds was easy...
I only put 20,000 miles on these tires because I smacked a curb and broke a belt inside one of the tires resulting in just replacing all four tires with Good Year Integrity (kind of a mistake). When I had these tires they were awesome. Going through sharp corners at unreasonable speeds was easy. I had it in a foot of snow going uphill and the tires just ate right through the snow. I never once got stuck or slid. I easily kept up with 4x4 vechiles. Actually my 4x4 Chevy Tahoe and AWD Explorer XLT slid more all over the road then the Buick did with these tires. They were truly amamazing tires. Very minimal road noise on the thruway, and the ride was bliss. Which keep in mind is a big part the car but still the tires help out. My complaint was wet roads. I had Pirelli P6s on before and Iwas able to still drive too fast through corners. I did it once with the Bf goodrichs and the Stabilitrak had to rescue me from sliding into the oncoming lane. And when I turned the system off once I did slide into oncoming traffic, which was pretty scary. Also driving through a lot of water just wasnt happening. We had a solid week of rain here and these tires were awful. I hydroplaned a lot, and the traction control came on more times then it should have.
For everything but water these tires rock. If they were good in water Id DEFINATELY buy them again.

Customers report mixed wet traction performance, with some scoring 7-10 for reliable grip but many noting lower ratings (0-6) due to hydroplaning and poor wet braking.

Very poor wet traction and almost no snow or ice traction. A Civic is not the most powerful car but tires slip and spin in any kind of wet weather.

...The Integritys are noisy, ride horribly, and are simply awful in wet conditions... He was driving the Monte Carlo in the rain and said he had very poor traction...
I have now driven 7,900 miles on these OEM tires on my 06 Impala. Nothing about these tires impresses me. I am amazed that there are people continuing to run these on Honda Pilots, Toyota Highlanders, and Lexus RXs. I am further amazed at the number of reviews actually recommending these tires and downplaying the negative reviews. The Integritys are noisy, ride horribly, and are simply awful in wet conditions. They are also wearing oddly (both the tread and the sidewalls). I looked at mine closely yesterday and just cant pinpoint the odd wear. It is like the serrated sidewall has changed appearance on the front tires when compared to the rears. People think I am overreacting when I tell them how bad they are. My father recently rented a 2006 Monte Carlo that had these tires, and called while driving the rental car to let me know he now understands my frustration with these tires. He was driving the Monte Carlo in the rain and said he had very poor traction. Now he is encouraging me to dump the Goodyears on my own Impala ASAP just in the name of safety. I will be doing that in the next few weeks. Not sure what I will be buying, but I am sure 99% of the possible tires out there will be better. I also see that these are currently priced at $81 each in the Impalas 16" size. These tires would possibly be a borderline "bargain" if they were in the $50 range and you wanted a Goodyear labeled tire. However with Kumho, Yokohama, and Bridgestone offering better tires in the $80 range the Integrity is simply a poor choice for any vehicle.

This tire is terrible especially in snow or icy conditions. It came with the SUV and it is one of the worst tires I ever had. As temperature gets low, one can feel that tire is getting stiffer and it slides sliding. I would recommend to avoid this tire.

...Direction stability with the Prius equipped with the Integritys is absolutely dreadful. It requires constant attention sawing the wheel back and forth to keep the car in lane...
I can understand that Toyota likely choose this tire for low rolling resistance characteristics because it has poor adhesion on dry roads, and even worse traction in the wet. Direction stability with the Prius equipped with the Integritys is absolutely dreadful. It requires constant attention sawing the wheel back and forth to keep the car in lane. It harkens back to the automatic lane change characteristics of an air-cooled Bug. Id imagine that sticker rubber will exact a fuel economy penalty, however the Prius equipped with these tires is a safety hazard.

...They are decent in dry conditions but terrible in wet and don't even think about trying them on snow...
Bought the tires in Oct 2011. Initially they were ok. They are decent in dry conditions but terrible in wet and don't even think about trying them on snow. They will be replaced within the next few weeks after about 33k miles as the treads are essentially gone. They were rotated at the recommended intervals.

...Horrible in any road condition except completely dry...
Come on my 07 Corolla when I bought it. Tires were ok for the first 10,000, but then wear was extremely noticable. Will be forced to buy new tires for this winter, if not car will mostly likely end up parked for the winter. Dangerous tires! Horrible in any road condition except completely dry. I should have had the dealer put different tires on it before i drove it off the lot.

The replacement tires were O.K. in that respect, however, all of the tires are extremely noisy at highway speeds. This is the one factor which would keep me from buying them again.
The tire handles well in wet and dry conditions and I've had no problem with hydroplaning. They seem to do fairly well in light snow but are really not made for deep snow traction. I purchased 4 of these tires and had to replace 2 immediately because they were out of round. The replacement tires were O.K. in that respect, however, all of the tires are extremely noisy at highway speeds. This is the one factor which would keep me from buying them again.

...at 11,000 miles are half gone
I drive some twisty mountain roads, and the handling is pretty good. But they are noisy on the interstate, spin from a stoplight in the rain (I do NOT have the Hemi either) and at 11,000 miles are half gone.

Being in the tire business I expected much more out of a Goodyear. Im very disappointed that I already have to purchase new tires. I thought that living in a city with two interstates running right through the middle of it, the main method of travel, that I would atleast get 30,000 to 40,000. I DO NOT recommed that anyone buy these tires. Get something for alot less and you will have better luck.

I now have 21,000 miles and am replacing the SECOND set (with something else, this time!). My father has the same model and year SUV with Michelin Energy tires and no problems.
