Tire Rack Test

Does this tire fit your vehicle?

Tires are designed specifically for different vehicles and wheel sizes. Tell us about your vehicle or the specific size you want so we can help find the right tires for you.

The Goodyear Integrity has become a popular Passenger All-Season tire as the result of being chosen as an Original Equipment fitment on numerous family coupes, sedans, minivans and crossover vehicles. Integrity radials blend low rolling resistance tread compounds and internal constructions tuned to enhance vehicle fuel efficiency with year-round traction, even in occasional light snow.

Integrity tires mold an all-season tread rubber compound into a symmetric tread design that combines a continuous center rib to provide constant rubber-to-road contact and increase dry road traction as well as reduce noise. Independent shoulder blocks, circumferential grooves and siped intermediate tread blocks promote foul weather traction. The tire's internal structure includes twin, high-tensile steel belts on top of a polyester cord body to enhance reliability and ride.

*Specific sizes featuring low rolling resistance technology are identified as such on the Sizes tab, as well as on the tire's Specs tab.

Tire Rack Test Results Goodyear Integrity

When Round and Black Becomes Lean and Green(04:18)

Can eco-friendly, low rolling resistance tires make a difference in fuel economy, driving costs and the environment?

Tire Rack arranged to get a small fleet of the 2009 2nd generation Toyota Prius hybrids to test low rolling resistance tires. The Goodyear Integrity O.E. tire was the baseline we compared to other tire choices for the Prius. Tires tested included eco-friendly aftermarket tires for hybrid and fuel-efficient compact cars as well as the Goodyear Assurance ComforTred which prioritizes ride comfort and long wear over fuel efficiency.

Goodyear Integrity Reviews

Customer feedback indicates the Goodyear Integrity delivers strong dry traction (scores 7-10) with responsive handling, aligning with its Standard Touring All-Season design. Treadwear shows mixed results, with some reporting premature wear (scores 0-5) while others note decent longevity (scores 8-10). Ride comfort raises concerns, as many highlight a harsh ride quality and elevated noise (scores 1-5). Winter traction struggles in snow and ice (scores 0-5), with wet traction similarly limited by hydroplaning risks (scores 2-6). While suitable for dry conditions and everyday touring, buyers prioritizing all-season versatility may find its wet and winter performance lacking. Durability and comfort inconsistencies suggest trade-offs for budget-conscious drivers.

...Extremely quiet with good handling in dry conditions...

While I only have 1000 miles on these tires and they are the LRR tires made in Japan they are excellent tires. Extremely quiet with good handling in dry conditions. I am always impressed with Japan made tires and these are no exception. Have little tire in rain conditions but will report on that with time. I only see my tire size 225/65/17 made in Japan. I will report back with more miles but very happy with these tires.

...As they wore to half-life at about 35-40k, they actually got really good. They grip well and seem to have more than enough traction for the little Spark. Steering response was way better at this point as was cornering for sustained Gs...

Executive summary: OEM tires, long lasting, dry performance getting better with age, noise increasing with wear. Winter becoming more dangerous.

Seem fine for what the car is. They wear like stone, they are on pace to last for 70-80k.

Sound like they are made of stone as well. Somewhat noisy from day one, but the Spark doesn't have much sound insulation. They let you feel all the bumps and concrete joints. Might have something to do with Chevy saying they need to be at 40psi, but who am I to argue with the engineers at GM, they have at least 10% more intelligence than me. With 45k on them now, there is a pronounced howl from them that resonates at about 40 mph, but is less obvious above or below by 5 mph.

As they wore to half-life at about 35-40k, they actually got really good. They grip well and seem to have more than enough traction for the little Spark. Steering response was way better at this point as was cornering for sustained Gs. Braking also improved. Basically, at this point, the shoulder tread blocks were all joining into one band, so no more squirm.

The problem now is winter. At this point I think they are dangerous in the snow/ice. When new they were passable, but without winter tires to change into, they are not fit for year-round service in a 4 season climate. They are easily flummoxed by any slipperiness be it slush, ice, or melted snow. You get stuck on hills, barely able to move forward. If you try to turn, you go straight no matter your speed; so be prepared to use the hand-brake to get the car to rotate.

To sum it up, they are loud, long wearing, feel hard, and get worse in winter with age. Come to think of it, these tires might be made of black painted concrete with rubber glued around them. A modern stone-aged tire.

DO NOT BUY THESE TIRES. I had these tires on my car and they are literally terrible in the wet. You will lose traction and slide when going 10mph around a tight corner. I was going 30 around a slight bend and almost wiped out due to light rain. The tread on these tires might as well be bald. I've had many different tires and have never had such a bad experience. I replaced my tires with General tires and am very happy with those and have no issues on the rain. Never buy these Integrity tires if you ever plan on driving in the rain. They were fine in dry conditions but I still would never recommend them.

...In the rain, before they totally wore down they were average. After about 4K miles they began to break the back end loose on turns... Hydroplaning was common, even at early mileage...

These tires, what can I say about these tires? For one, treadwear is a pain with them. I got these tires on a car with 83k miles on it, and they lasted a little under 6k miles before they decided to go bald. I don¿t drive my car hard unless I need to, and these tires were pure garbage for an average driving style.
In the rain, before they totally wore down they were average. After about 4K miles they began to break the back end loose on turns. Keep in mind I¿m going maybe 15 mph in some cases 20mph around turns, and my car is front wheel drive. That is downright despicable for a hundred dollar tire. Hydroplaning was common, even at early mileage.
These tires are terrible in the snow. At any mileage, these tires were unable to get grip. There was a slush on the ground once, and I go to take a normal turn and the car totally lost control. I couldn¿t stop, I couldn¿t steer, I couldn¿t do a single thing. This was at maybe 15 if not 10mph. Thankfully, I hit a dry patch and managed to save my car from swerving off the road. It was the scariest thing I have ever experienced in a car.

DO NOT BUY THESE TIRES! Utter garbage for any application!

...I live in North West. These tires are dangerous here. I've been in one accident and almost hit a person due to them hydroplaning in rain... started to hydroplane on wet and snowy surfaces after 10k. Very-very dangerous...

These are OE tires for my Corolla. I've installed them new and had very good experience for the first 5000 miles, except for the noise level - these tires are loud, uncomfortably loud.

I'd say that the tires are designed for dry areas, where they would perform well and be fuel-efficient as marketed.

I live in North West. These tires are dangerous here. I've been in one accident and almost hit a person due to them hydroplaning in rain.
The only things I like about them are cornering and fuel-efficiency.
Lots of things I dislike. The major are:
* started to hydroplane on wet and snowy surfaces after 10k. Very-very dangerous.
* very loud: hard to enjoy any music while driving on highway
* firm: you'll feel every crack and a bump of the road

I had to replace them after 3 years of use, 28k of mileage, because they've became too dangerous in rains

...After doing religious tire rotations every 8000 miles, the tires continue to wear terribly. Up until 20000 miles they were decent, quiet, and comfortable, now they shake like a paint shaker. One more year and maybe a total of 35000 miles if they make it, they will be ready for the dumpster.

These tires came new on a used 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis that I purchased with 45000 miles. These tires do not deserve the name Goodyear. There are cheaper tires from 3rd world countries that are far cheaper, longer lasting and better quality. At less than 20000 miles one if the tires began shaking, turns out the inside tread on two tires has uneven, choppy wear. After doing an alignment the shop told me that nothing was wrong with my car itself, all components including tie rod ends were as tight as a new car, and the alignment was not that far off to begin with. After doing religious tire rotations every 8000 or so miles, the tires continue to wear terribly. Up until 20000 they were decent, quiet, and comfortable, now they shake like a paint shaker. I'm just glad I didn't pay for these out of pocket. One more year and maybe a total of 35000 miles if they make it, they will be ready for the dumpster.
