...Tires perform just as well on wet pavement and hydroplane rarely, above 50mph over large puddles...
The first I bought these tires I drove-up the forest road in deep snow. Was exceedingly impressed and never got stuck once. Tires perform just as well on wet pavement and hydroplane rarely, above 50mph over large puddles. Quiet for an aggressive looking A/T. And handling on highway is comparable with other LT tires(275/70-20) I've ran. I will definitely buy these tires again if the tread lasts.

...Traction is remarkably good for a mud tire on wet and dry paving...
I knew the minute i drove away from the tire store that i had made a mistake. The tires were shaky when i turned the wheels in the lot. They produce a lot of road noise and they never balaced correctly. Very shaky and unsteady at slow speeds and cornering. Traction is remarkably good for a mud tire on wet and dry paving. However, horrible in snow! I slipped and slip horribly! The big brother for this tire, the Goodyear MTR with Kevlar, rode much better on the road. Four of us in my company bought this tire for our trucks and we all got the same results. We'll never buy again. They do wear good, and have actually gotten smoother with wear and rotating every 5kmiles. The MTR's wore out quickly, so these are much better at wearing. I'm just done with all the shaking and vibrating. Time for some more streetable tires.

...the traction is reliable and consistent on any surface...
Great performance on and off road. For me they have low noise for such an aggressive tread. Have performed well on several long trips on highway towing storage box and camper. performed really well in mud, creek bed, dirt, rough terrain, and sand off road conditions. Great tire for the poorly maintained roads here in West Virginia. Many of the "paved" roads are a collection of holes and patches. This tire has resisted damage that is caused by major potholes, humped road asphalt from heavy traffic, and unexpected road washouts. the duratrac traction is reliable and consistent on any surface. PERSONAL RATING: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

...have been in spots pushing mud with front bumper and driving in snow above the bumper and can honestly say I have never once been scared I was going to be stuck...
Ran this tire on both my 06 Duramax and my 19 Duramax by far the best overall tire out there. Hauled heavy loads 20k lbs plus several times never once had an issue with tires in any aspect. have been in spots pushing mud with front bumper and driving in snow above the bumper and can honestly say I have never once been scared I was going to be stuck. If you don't believe this statement I encourage you to try the tires for yourself and you wont be disappointed.

...Dry traction is great, and off road they are probably one of the best all around tires available...
Great go between AT/MT tire. Has lasted for 60K miles easy, I could probably push them to 70K. On road manners are pretty good, I'm not crazy about the wet pavement traction, such as taking off from a stop sign on a wet street. But once you get them going the wet road manners are good. Dry traction is great, and off road they are probably one of the best all around tires available. They can pretty much do it all. E range does ride stiff, but that's to be expected. Based on the tread pattern the noise is there, but nothing like a MT. It's easily bearable. Really my only complaint, has been wet road traction from a stand still, or while turning. They can spin out pretty easy. Overall I'd give them a 85% if I were rating them as a whole.

...They've performed very well in all road conditions... On the rare occasion that they do slip, it is predictable and controllable.
I've had these tires for two years now and they have about .25 inch of tread left. I've put about 30K mile on them and that's about all I ever get out of any set of tires. I live in the SE TN and use this vehicle as a daily driver, mostly highway miles, but I also do some off-roading occasionally. I also wanted a tire that would be able to get me to work if it snowed. My first impression was that they were a very quiet tire considering the aggressive tread pattern although they seem to have gotten a little louder with age. They've performed very well in all road conditions. I've also had them off road in various types of mud, clay and chirt with excellent results. Last week we had snow and ice on the roads with accidents everywhere but I never had the first problem. These tires performed flawlessly and took me up the steepest hills with no problem whatsoever. On the rare occasion that they do slip, it is predictable and controllable. I can honestly say that these have been the best all terrain tires I have purchased to date.

Customers rate ride comfort highly, with most scoring 7-10 and many 9s/10s. Noise levels are generally positive for a rugged all-terrain tire, though some note occasional road feedback. The DuraTrac delivers impressive comfort in demanding conditions, aligning well with its commercial all-terrain design intent.

I also occasionally commute with this truck (80 miles each way) and it is by far the most comfortable ride I have ever been in...
I baught these for my 2013 Offroad Double cab Tacoma. Within 2 weeks we had a big NJ Hurricane Sandy and a week later a Nor'easter snow storm that dumped over 7 inches of snow. I drove 200 miles in blizzard conditions in close to 6 inches of snow in backroads and 3-4 on highway. I left my truck in 2wd the whole time, all 200+ miles and these tires performed amazing. Not once did I have to flip this into 4wd or even come close to it. I also occasionally commute with this truck (80 miles each way) and it is by far the most comfortable ride I have ever been in. I have yet to throw them through real tough mud, but im sure it will handle it as well with no issues.

...They have a moderate noise level but they make up for it with crisp handling and amazing all weather traction.
With just over 70,000 mile on these tires I am completely happy with the Dura Tracs I am, currently shopping to get replacements before winter but have a solid 3/32nds left on the tires. I rotated them with every oil change at 7500 mile interval. I have a lot of trips towing race cars, going out on the beaches, and a few days spent out in the mud. I live in the mid Atlantic area, and these tires ensure I can get to work even in the worst conditions. Overall I cannot be more pleased. They have a moderate noise level but they make up for it with crisp handling and amazing all weather traction.

...I have 35,000 miles on mine right now and my truck was just inspected and there is still 8/32 left in tread... I believe I will get 50,000 miles on these tires before I take them off!!...
Goodyear tires normally ---- but the Goodyear Duratrac is AWESOME!! I have 35,000 miles on mine right now and my truck was just inspected and there is still 8/32" left in tread. The tires are superior in mud and snow. I live on a dirt road back in the woods and we get a lot of snow, they are unbelievable. The best set of tires I have ever owned. The only negative I can say about the tires is that I lost about 2-3mpg after I put these tires on but other than that there is nothing negative to say about them. I believe I will get 50,000 miles on these tires before I take them off!! I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a good mud/snow tire, not to mention they look good.

...I have 35k on them and they have at least 70% of tread on them. I rotate every 5k-6k with the spare, so that probably helps...
Best purchase in tires I ever made. These tires have exceeded my expectations in every aspect. I have driven in deep snow (10+ inches), slush, wet pavement and hot conditions without ANY issue/slip/slide. They look like mean tires and they are. I have about 35k on them and they have at least 70% of tread on them. I rotate every 5k-6k with the spare, so that probably helps. I paid double what they are going for today because they were 'new' at the time. If I had one complaint - they are a little noisy when the windows are down. I will replace these with the same tire once the tread finally wears down, without question.
