Highway All-Season tires are for drivers who want a combination of pleasant on-road characteristics, long wear and all-season versatility, including traction in light snow. Highway All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on 2WD and 4WD, light- and medium-duty vans, trucks and pickups, as well as crossover and sport utility vehicles.
O.E. Highway All-Season tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle's original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires' performance category and specifications.

Feedback demonstrates the Goodyear Wrangler HT delivers reliable dry traction (scores 7-10) and highway-focused durability, with many customers praising treadwear longevity. Comfort receives positive marks for a smooth and quiet ride, though some note occasional road noise. Winter traction shows notable concerns, with ratings often dipping to 3-5, highlighting limited confidence in snow and ice. Wet performance is mixed, with hydroplaning resistance scoring 4-8 but lower marks in heavy rain. While excelling in dry conditions and everyday comfort, buyers prioritizing all-season versatility may find winter and wet limitations worth considering for highway-focused use.

...Ive been very happy with the ride and comfort in dry and wet conditions... Great traction at the launch ramp...
These were OE tires. Ive been very happy with the ride and comfort in dry and wet conditions. I tow 5,000lbs of boat. Great traction at the launch ramp. Also appreciate the quiet ride. Just wish I could get more than the 2400 miles of treadwear. Its time for new tires.

...They seem grippy enough on dry pavement when I have had to stop fairly quick on I-5... They have performed adequately on dry pavement while having boost speed and still have control when someone is speeding on side streets avoiding them t-boning me...
I cannot tell you how long my vehicle has had these tires on it. I bought it with 55K GSA sale. I believe it was an unmarked federal postal detective vehicle. A coupe SE 4x4 model. It came with them on it at 55K miles. It now has 64K. They don't seem to wear much although I should rotate them. They are dated at 0908 of manufacture and are labeled LT215-75-15 the stock size. I think the 4.0 Liter straight 6 in this size can lay plenty of torque to them. That alone could be a problem in the rain. They seem grippy enough on dry pavement when I have had to stop fairly quick on I-5. It has abs brakes but I believe you can still lock them up. Have replaced the brakes since then but I have considered changing tires due to their performance in wet weather. They are not as bad as the light rear end on my a Ford Ranger I owned and with worn goodyear futeras? They may not perform as well on a heavier 1/2ton truck but LT215 normally means cargo carrying of metric size? They have performed adequately on dry pavement while having boost speed and still have control when someone is speeding on side streets avoiding them t-boning me. I too thought OEM which it may have come with but the Jeep Cherokee SE 4x4 was manufactured in 99 and the tires say the 9th week of 08 so the postal service undoubtedly put new tires on it after 9 years.
What I feel is the tread has lasted well on this size of vehicle and might be worse if I did burnouts like youth. I feel it is a little weak in the traction area on wet roads. Not always fair assessment due to oil and dirt on roads with no rain or leaking vehicles. However it rains here 5-6 months . But little tread wear and could still see the mold spikes years later but I would like better rain traction. No snow or ice experience but am a bit doubtful of performance due to age too. Tires get old just sitting installed in the elements? 5 years? I must say they seem to have amazing wear characteristics on dry pavement.

...Ride is smooth, and quiet for this big van...
Came with our 15-passenger van used. Former owner said 20,000 miles, and I have put on another 40,000 miles with tread to spare. Quiet, excellent highway tire. Not great in ice or snow, but this is a commercial truck tire - what do you expect? Have always kept 80lbs (the former reviewer should be shot for allowing pressure to go below 65 lbs! These are E Load Rated tires and have to be kept at 65 or 80 lbs depending on the size!)
Our van hauls a family of 7 plus clothes and necessities for a full month-long trip, and pulls a 5500 lb trailer behind. Ride is smooth, and quiet for this big van. Really struggling with the decision to buy these again or go with Goodyears new SilentArmor tires for a bit better snow traction - as we do get quite a bit here in Denver. Ive never been stuck in snow with these though - in fact, I have been the first one out of our neighborhood in a 38" blizzard with this van & these tires, so its not quite as bad as other reviewers make it seem. They are NOT mud tires though, so dont expect them to act like mudders!

These tires last a long time, have good traction for a highway tire. Only problem is cracking in the sidewalls near the rim, seems as if tire quality these days are only good for the short term, my local tire chain will not work on tires over 10yrs old saying its a safety hazard. Back to these tires they are great on a vehicle driven everywhere but in mud or snow.

...On wet these become poor and on winter conditions they have zero traction despite AWD. DO NOT BUY THESE UNLESS YOU LIVE IN A DESERT...
OE Tires. Bought the car with 18k on it tread wears outsides of these on front on all Elements Ive seen.. really need to rotate.
This car is AWD and auto trans and you can squeal these with a fast start on dry road. On wet these become poor and on winter conditions they have zero traction despite AWD. DO NOT BUY THESE UNLESS YOU LIVE IN A DESERT. I switched out with plenty of tread left for Yoko Geolandar G051s (same size) which make this car fantastic. If you chose to keep these on and save money invest it in life insurance.

Used these tires on my work truck. I put 25000 miles on them and they are about slick. They handled well in rain and got good traction in the rain. I think it's more because all the weight in the bed as opposed to it being a good tire. In wet grass or light mud you can count on these to get you stuck. I won't buy these again if I have the choice.

...These have been a spinny when accelerating from a complete stop in the rain, but once on the road are reliable...
Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude HT 265 70 17 115T is the OEM tire my F150 came with and it's served me well. I'm at 78000 and looking at new tires now. These have been a little spinny when accelerating from a complete stop in the rain, but once on the road are still reliable. I get decent mileage with them, but better in the summer. They have handled dirt roads well and have not failed me in winter or on ice.
The only other tires I have owned are Goodyear Wrangler somethings and Michelin LTX M/S, and both of those were on an older but otherwise identical truck. I like both, but for slightly different reasons, and it's a battle for me to pick one over the other.

...These tires have been great on dry ground, but I have been stuck to the point of needing a tow truck to pull me out 3 times in dirt/muddy/snow covered driveways. Tires offer little or no traction in snow and mud...
This came as original equipment on my extended E350. It is always loaded with equipment and within a couple hundred pounds of max gvwr. I also pull trailers weighing 4000-5000 with it. These tires have been great on dry ground, but I have been stuck to the point of needing a tow truck to pull me out 3 times in dirt/muddy/snow covered driveways. Tires offer little or no traction in snow and mud. Great tires otherwise. Great life out of them too 45000, and still have good tread. ALWAYS rotated at 5000 miles, and ALWAYS kept pressure at 80PSI.

...Customers note that the tire is " not impressed by snow/ice performance but no complaints in dry/wet."...
To everyone reading the reviews on the Wrangler H/T tire: a lot of these reviews are bogus. People on here list having them as OEM on their Honda Element for instance, but those never had the H/T as OEM, in fact they don't make the H/T in the OEM size at all.
Those reviews should've been placed with the Wrangler H/P, which is a completely different tire, a sport truck tire vs the H/T being a heavy-duty tire made for HD pickups and vans. So all these reviews saying they got 40k miles on their OEM tires, those would be the H/P, not the H/T. I can tell you from experience that the H/T lasts a long time and does well in most areas (not impressed by snow/ice performance but no complaints in dry/wet).
Same with Ram 1500 reviews, those got the H/P as standard, maybe the Wrangler SR-A but the H/T has never been an OEM tire, especially in the load range E rating.
