DuPont™ Kevlar® is incorporated into the internal construction of the Wrangler Steadfast HT, helping increase overall durability. The two-ply polyester casing provides a comfort-focused, yet durable foundation for the twin, robust steel belts. A polyamide cap ply continues to add durability and provide stability at high speeds.

Got these tires in the Springtime and really really liked them. Comfy, quiet and good(ish) in wet traction. However, we have seen a fair share of snow and ice in the midwest in the last few months, and oh man.
Arugably the scariest tire I have ever driven in ice or light snow. Like driving 30 MPH on a 70 MPH highway just to try to maintain control of your vehicle kind of experience. Not good at all.
If you live in a warmer climate, this is an AWESOME tire. Great ride quality and road noise and great tread life. These tires have barely worn after 10K miles of driving. However, if you live in area with ice and snow, I would highly suggest against this tire. No one should ever drive in these in the winter, I hate to say it.

The Steadfast tires feel as though they have more contact with the road when going over bumps. The truck has the sane original 20 inch rims, but the Steadfast feel like they have a larger diameter and are smoother riding. And, they went easily and confidently through 4 inches of snow that came early this year.
