The Wrangler Workhorse HT is Goodyear's Highway All-Season truck tire developed for drivers of light trucks and large SUVs who want a hard-working tire for their daily commute. The Wrangler Workhorse HT offers satisfying dry and wet performance, confident braking, and capable all-season traction, even in light snow.

Wrangler Workhorse HT callouts

The Wrangler Workhorse HT employs a durable compound for optimal wear, molded into a symmetric tread pattern featuring interlocking tread blocks for optimal dry grip and confident handling. A strong, aggressive-looking closed shoulder design promotes stiffness and stability, adds style, and contributes to overall tread life. Four wide, circumferential grooves promote efficient water evacuation water across lateral voids and generous shoulder slots for heightened hydroplaning resistance in wet weather. In-groove biting edges and an optimized sipe design within the tread blocks and shoulder lugs combine for enhanced wet weather grip and satisfying all-season traction.

The internal construction of the Goodyear Workhorse HT includes a 2-ply polyester casing beneath two wide, high-tensile steel belts. LT versions have either 1- or 2-ply polyamide reinforcement cap for improved stability under heavy loads. The durable 2-ply polyester sidewall helps balance ride comfort with durability and helps protect against curb damage.

...I previously had a set of Michelin LTX M/S 2's and these perform better in wet conditions in my experience...

These tire have been great so far. Dry traction is awesome. I previously had a set of Michelin LTX M/S 2’s and these perform better in wet conditions in my experience. They are extremely quiet and comfortable driving on the highway, even with load range E on a 3/4 ton truck at 50psi. I feel like the rubber is slightly softer than the Michelins resulting in less road noise. They have a slightly aggressive look to them which is great for a highway tire on a 4 wheel drive truck. I would recommend these tires to anyone with a truck looking for a quiet and comfortable ride without sacrificing performance.

These tires handle great whether it’s dry, wet, light mud or light snow. I have 20k miles on this set of tires and they still look great. I will definitely buy these tires again. I drive mostly on two lane highways ( 1,600 miles a week ) that are very curvy and these tires handle perfect.

...Great snow/slush traction and control too...

Due to this vehicle being a full time AWD it is rough on cheaper low quality tires. These Goodyear Wranglers have held up very well and are very quiet on the highway. Great snow/slush traction and control too. The tires have held up good on forest roads too.

...I was impressed by the snow traction of the Goodyears. With my old tires I would always be in 4WD when there was snow on the ground, with these tires 2WD was fine in the same snow. I was able to pull an 18,000 lbs 5th wheel out of the campground that had deep snow (the bottom of my truck was dragging on the snow)...

My truck came from the factory with Michelin LTX AT 2s so I'm comparing my initial feelings to those tires. I was impressed by the snow traction of the Goodyears. With my old tires I would always be in 4WD when there was snow on the ground, with these tires 2WD was fine in the same snow. I was able to pull an 18,000 lbs 5th wheel out of the campground that had deep snow (the bottom of my truck was dragging on the snow). I did need 4WD in this instance. The same campground, similar snow, 2 years ago I had to have someone pull me out. On the highway these tires seem much quieter. It could be the noise is a lower tone. On grooved surfaces these tire a much quieter. The wet road traction feels very good. I have yet to drive on a dry road that isn’t covered in salt but I that experience to be good as well. The over all ride of the tire seems better than the AT 2’s. The Goodyears seem a little softer on bumps and potholes. There is no noticeable difference in towing stability. I’ve only towed 300 miles with medium to light winds. If you have a dually & tow, these tires should be on your short list.

...Traction on dry and wet surfaces is acceptable...

These tires might be an acceptable on-road tire only, but they are terrible on anything other than paved surfaces. The very mild tread pattern cannot move heavy trucks in loose soil conditions. The tread blocks are very susceptible to chunking and tearing on gravel and rocky surfaces. Traction on dry and wet surfaces is acceptable. Ride quality is compromised by balance issues and plagued by high speed vibrations. Tread wear as referenced above is accelerated by damaged tread beyond otherwise normal wear, making the 60,000 mile warranty difficult to achieve.
