The Kinergy ST is Hankook's Standard Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of family sedans, crossovers, coupes and minivans who want a balanced blend of performance combined with long tread life. The Kinergy ST was designed to deliver a smooth and quiet ride along with confident traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, even light snow.
Utilizing an abrasion-resistant all-season compound provides durability, and the symmetric pattern of the Kinergy ST allows for easy rotation patterns to resist irregular wear and prolong tire life. A coupled center rib and tie bars in the outboard grooves help stabilize the tread for enhanced rigidity and responsive handling. The optimized pitch sequence is designed to reduce tread noise, and the independent tread blocks and sipes create multiple biting edges for traction in slippery conditions. Open shoulder slots and deep, circumferential grooves help evacuate water from the contact patch for hydroplaning resistance, and wide, lateral notches combine with the optimized sipes to provide wet braking performance and light snow traction.
Internal construction of the Kinergy ST consists of a two-ply, polyester casing to aid ride comfort and durability, with two wide, steel belts stabilizing the tread. A full-width, nylon cap ply provides high-speed capability. High-stiffness bead filler delivers sharp steering response, and the strong, jointless bead wire enhances uniformity for a smooth ride.

Feedback consistently shows the Hankook Kinergy ST delivers excellent dry traction (9-10 scores) and reliable wet grip with strong hydroplaning resistance. Winter performance is solid in light snow, though ice traction sees some lower ratings (4-6 range). Tread life receives consistent praise for longevity, aligning well with all-season expectations. Comfort stands out with a smooth, quiet ride noted across multiple ratings. While most categories show strong all-season capability, a few drivers note reduced confidence in severe winter conditions. Overall, it's a well-rounded choice for drivers prioritizing year-round comfort and dependable dry/wet performance.

...And wet traction and hydroplaning resistance was excellent all the way to the end!
Some of the best all-around tires I have had. Surprisingly quiet and smooth ride for a 70K mileage rating. Traction and cornering a bit greasy especially when cold but more than acceptable for 70K tires. Pleasantly communicative closer to the limit with gentle and predictable break-away. After 50K miles road noise got a little louder but not excessively. And wet traction and hydroplaning resistance was excellent all the way to the end!
...Feel very confidenton the road in dry and wet conditions... I don't really make it a point to drive through heavy snow, so I cannot comment on that but as far as wet traction and in light snow and on dry roads these are great...
These tires have been nothing less than great for our minivan. Much quieter than the the tires we replaced for these. Mostly city driving. Feel very confident on the road in dry and wet conditions. We got a few snow events after getting these installed last year and they handled light snow greatly. I don't really make it a point to drive through heavy snow, so I cannot comment on that but as far as wet traction and light snow go and dry roads these are great. I'm actually going to replace my tires on my car with the same ones when I get to the point where I need to.

I don’t put a lot of miles on this older truck so I can’t comment on tread wear. However, wet and try traction is so much better than the previous sets of Tiger Paws. Quiet comfortable ride. I wish I had bought these a long time ago

Bought these because they were one of the few white letter options that would fit my Corvette before the snow hit. I had my doubts that they would be OK in winter conditions, but to my surprise, they actually performed quite well. Traction is plentiful, and a steady foot allows them to grip even in decent snow. Put your foot down and the tires happily grab any snow and fling it from your way. They’ve worn fairly well so far, and if I wasn’t considering changing tire sizes, I would consider getting them again once these tires expire.

Values posted are arbitrary. I've had no issues with hydroplaning. I drove it through one southern Wi winter. They handled quite well in the snow. I have rear wheel drive that I load down with 3 bags of softener salt for traction. That said, these are new tires. I would not expect to use these in Wisconsin snow for the life of the tire. With regard to cornering, I don't really have a comparison point.

I have not been in a deeper snow to know how they act with the AWD but they sure do last a long time, and have good on road/rain/dry traction, dont make noise, and have good treadwear...
I got these on a 2023 Ford maverick that had the tires replaced at 23K miles. These were the replacements. now had 37K on it.. When I bought this these were on it. I figured they were the original tires till I saw the CarFax and saw changed out at 23K. I had planned on when they wore out changing them over to a A/T type tire.. thing is... they just dont/wont wear out lol.. So far for a "regular car tire" in a all season they are pretty good/solid tire.
I do think I will end up changing to the A/T when these wear out.. however so far they have been fine. I have not been in a deeper snow to know how they act with the AWD but they sure do last a long time, and have a good on road/rain/dry traction, dont make noise, and have good treadwear. I have had them in light snow/slush and they were fine...that said we never got more than 3" of snow this year...They may not be a truck A/T tire with the little mountain/snowflake emblem for severe snow ratings(and thats what I run for trips back near Buffalo NY) but for a general all season passenger tire id get them again no problems.

I've driven 4,000 miles on these tires, good on a dry road, responsive, very quiet, low noise, very smooth, not great on a wet road when cornering, a little bit of hydroplane action, snow haven't tried yet so i rated a 6, the tires still look brand new after 4000 miles pretty durable, made in the USA too! Buy America baby!

Driving in often-rainy conditions on pothole-filled New Orleans streets, these tires have shown great wet and dry traction and durability. They grip better than my previous General Altimax RT43's, which were also very good in these conditions.

Only a few tire rotations into the use of this tire, but all is good so far!... I would recommend this tire for price, durability, comfort and treadwear.
Only a few tire rotations into the use of this tire, but all is good so far! My front wheels will not grip perfectly on an uphill incline turning the wheel and accelerating, but I feel that is mostly by car design not the actually tire. I would recommend this tire for price, durability, comfort and treadwear.
