The P Zero AS Plus 3 writes another exciting chapter in the story of Ultra High Performance All-Season tires, continuing Pirelli's popular P Zero line. Channeling the spirit of their Formula 1 heritage and developed for the enthusiast drivers of sports cars, coupes and luxury sedans to deliver the performance they expect all year without having to worry about swapping out their tires from season-to-season. Dry, rain, or even light snow, the P Zero AS Plus 3 was designed for all of it.
Following up on the success of its predecessor, the P Zero AS Plus 3 introduces new polymer blend technology from Pirelli aimed to target improvement across all categories. This next-generation compound is built on its forerunners' strengths for higher levels of traction and longer mileage, thanks to stiffer material compounds and an optimized footprint.
The carefully engineered, asymmetric tread pattern features minimized void space for maximum contact with the road surface, increasing overall grip and improving wear characteristics. Larger, pitch-sequenced shoulder blocks improve dry handling while minimizing tread noise; the freshly optimized pattern features a larger footprint for even wear and enhanced cornering performance. Grooves and channels are integrated into the tread, designed to work in unison for predictable wet performance and hydroplaning resistance. The P Zero AS Plus 3 employs a variety of sipes focused on retaining traction in slippery winter weather with increased biting edges while maintaining reliable clear road handling characteristics. Additional 3D siping built into select tread blocks delivers further stability in all weather conditions.
The tire's internal structure features a polyester body with twin steel belts for increased responsiveness to driver input, while two polyamide reinforcement plies offer the reinforcement needed to maintain predictable handling and durability at high speed.

Customer ratings showcase the Kumho Crugen HT51 as a reliable highway all-season tire, with strong dry traction (8-10 scores) and confident wet performance highlighted by solid hydroplaning resistance. Winter traction earns praise for snowy conditions, though a few note reduced grip on ice. Riders appreciate the comfortable, quiet experience, aligning with expectations for touring-focused tires. Tread life receives consistent positive feedback, with many users reporting satisfactory longevity for highway use. While most categories score 7-10, occasional lower marks in ice traction and noise levels suggest room for refinement without detracting from overall satisfaction in its intended role.

...I've found that these tires provide great traction on dry pavement, in rain and in snow (of various consistencies)...
I was seriously considering purchasing a set of Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires for my truck. After reviewing and comparing the performance test results against the Michelins and other brands I found that the Kumho's score was equal to and in some instances better than. Combining the test results with the price, I decided to take a chance and I've found that these tires provide great traction on dry pavement, in rain and snow (of various consistencies).
The Kumho Crugen HT51 tires have worn well, +50,000 miles, as I drive a lot for my job as a Construction Manager. These tires are also quite comfortable and I like them so much that I purchased a set for my wife's vehicle, a 2007 Lincoln MKX AWD and am purchasing another set for my 2016 GMC Canyon.
For the price and performance, a great set of tires!
These tires are way better than I expected. They made the ride so much smoother and quieter than my previous set, even my installer noticed the difference right away. They are remarkable in light and heavy snow and handle wet road with no issues. Steering responsiveness has definitely increased for the better. They are reasonably priced and so far, I would say that they are the absolute best tires that I've had on this truck including a very expensive set of Michelins that were, conversely, the worst set of tires I've had on this truck. (In their defense, the set of Michelins on my car are the best tires I've ever had but the truck tires were a huge disappointment.) I'm guardedly optimistic about the tread wear; however, time will tell.

Great tires, bought because of the siping. Grips wet ice, good traction stopping on ice and snow plus smoothness of the ride on dry roads is phenomenal!

Bought these just before our trip to MI for Christmas. Quite simply, I love them. We left MI to head back to the Smoky Mtns after getting 10" of fresh snow. My 2005 2WD (RWD, limited slip, no traction control) SUV handled the deep fresh snow like it was riding the best snow tires on the market. Once we got to the highway, it was a slushy, sloppy, icy mess, but these tires performed flawlessly. Back in the Smokies, we get sporadic snowfall and heavy rains during the winter, these have exceeded every expectation and even a few hopes. I have 4000 miles on them, and no noticeable treadwear. My previous tires had considerable inside wear from the camber, but none on these yet. There is a very small amount of low speed (<35mph) road noise, but only if I have the radio turned off. I can't believe these are some of the least expensive tires that fit my ride. I will definitely buy again, and recommend you buy some too.

...Very good performance particularly in winter conditions ( 0-- negative 15C) with in snowfall and ice...
Researched, bought, and installed the HT51 prior to a move to Latvia in the winter. Have not been disappointed. Very good performance particularly in winter conditions (0-- negative 15C) with snowfall and ice. Roads are pretty rough even in city limits, so having an older car with a quality tire was very important. Carted around our family of 4 with ease and peace of mind with these tires.

...The dry traction is pretty good. No issues there...
I am pretty disappointed in these tires. The dry traction is pretty good. No issues there but the tread has worn quicker than expected. Not terrible but quicker than I thought. The main issues are that these tires are terrible in the snow. Even with 4 wheel drive these tires are much worse than my previous tires. The tires are also not great in the rain. Lastly, and my biggest issue, is these are the noisiest tires I have every owned by far. I have had several passengers make comments. The noise is a particularly loud drone above 65 mph. Really noisy and the tires wearing doesn't improve it at all. Avoid these

For an all season tire these are fantastic in snow. I used to run a dedicated winter tire on my Forester but not with these. Great tread ware too. still look great after 20,000 miles. Like 9/32" tread left from 12/32" new. Excellent dry and wet traction as well. Will buy again.

...This tire runs quiet, smooth and absorbs road imperfections just like the LTX...
dare I say better then Michelin DEFENDER LTX M/S. The tread patterns are almost identical except the sipes on the Michelin run deeper. But this Kuhmo is almost $75.00 cheaper per tire!! This tire runs quiet, smooth and absorbs road imperfections just like the LTX. Steering control is spot on. Very pleased with this purchase. 2 thumbs up !!

...They are very comfortable and virtually no road noise when compared to the Michelin M/S2 tires I replaced...
I bought these for my 2016 Chevrolet Dually. As of now, I have around ~15K miles on these tires and I am very happy with them. They are very comfortable and virtually no road noise when compared to the Michelin M/S2 tires I replaced. So far the treadwear has been very good both front and back. I pull a 4-horse trailer that weighs around 10K pounds empty and 17K fully loaded. I was especially concerned with treadwear on the back dual's with the weight of the trailer but so far no much difference from the front tires.

...I can comment on tread wear since I've only put about 2k miles on them...
Replaced my set of Cooper tires with these tires. WHAT a difference. With the Coopers I was all over the road as soon as it was wet. These tires are so much better. No slipping, no hydo-planing and they are much much quieter than the Coopers. It's actually a pleasure to drive my truck now no matter what the weather. I feel much safer with these tires on. I can comment on tread wear since I've only put about 2k miles on them. Great handling in all weather, very quiet ride, reasonably priced - what more could you want
