The Primacy HP is Michelin's Grand Touring Summer tire developed to provide longer tread life and lasting performance throughout the tire's life, as well as better braking, steering control and handling on wet roads. The Primacy HP tires meet Michelin's Green X standard* for eco-focused manufacturing and low rolling resistance, and confirms the tire's contribution to reducing vehicle fuel consumption, emission of CO2 gases and improving sustainability through conservation of natural resources. While Primacy HP tires are designed to offer reliable traction in dry and wet conditions, they are not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
Primacy HP tires benefit from Michelin design innovations known as A.S.M. Primacy HP tires use a new generation Michelin tread compound molded into an asymmetric tread design that features large, linked shoulder blocks, notched intermediate ribs and a solid center rib to combine responsive handling and high-speed stability with traction and even treadwear. The Primacy HP tire's structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by size-optimized BAZ Technology (spiral-wrapped Polyamide Banded At Zero degrees to tire rotation) to enhance ride quality while providing high-speed durability.

These are single handedly the best tires I have ever purchased, ever. I was hesitant at first to buy such “premium” or “expensive” tires but they are well worth the extra money. I have 10,000 miles on them, as well as almost a full year, a spring, summer, fall and particularly grueling winter and so far you cannot tell that the tread has worn even a little bit. Where I live, throughout the year we get highs of 100 in the summer, and in winter we get below zero with 12+ inches of snowfall. It’s now February and after 4 weeks of constant snow, sleet and ice I can confidently write this review claiming these may be the best tires offered for any car period. The accord crosstour, while not having a world famous 4WD system will always do “okay” in snowy conditions. But this winter with these tires, I did not slip, slide or have any issues coming to a stop like I have with past tires. I tried several times to get “spirited” in an empty icy parking lot and THEY WOULD NOT BREAK TRACTION. It actually felt like I was cheating having these tires on. Not to mention the summer performance of these tires is phenomenal. There’s minimum road noise and you have a sense of “grounded” that, at least for me, I have never felt before. I have NOT hydroplaned once in these tires even when I definitely should have. I cannot rate these highly enough. I cannot recommend these tires enough. Go ahead and spend the extra $300. What you lose in money will be far compensated by the safety, reliability, stability, capability, and dependability of these tires.

Got them installed a couple days later. Had to drive ~ 120 miles for a quick visit to family. Ride out was excellent in dry conditions. Ride home was more challenging. Drove ~ 2 hours through a mix of snow/sleet and eventually rain through central PA in early morning. Roads had not been cleared or well cared for. Tires performed well. Seem fine around town as well. So far, so good!

I moved from a set of original Michelin CC tires to the CC 2's. The difference is night and day, the 2's have much deeper treads and yet quieter than the originals. Traction is superior so far, although no snow driving yet.

This is easily the best SUV all season tire I have owned across three different Subaru Foresters and a Nissan Pathfinder. It is not studded, so icy conditions are what they are and as mentioned the treadwear is excellent. Handling is also outstanding. There are cheaper options, but I will be buying another set!
