Most customers rate the Michelin LTX A/T 2's wet traction with 9s and 10s, highlighting excellent grip and hydroplaning resistance. Scores reflect strong all-terrain performance in wet conditions.

...Wet traction is markedly improved...
Replaced OEM Goodyear after 6 years and 70,000 miles. With the Michelins on I had a pronounced reduction in road noise and the ride quality is much improved. The original GYr tires were worn to nearly the wear bars but still had tread on them. Wet traction is markedly improved. Was a bit wary of paying an extra $50 per tire but as I intend on keeping the Pilot for another 6 years it will be worth the extra money.

I find them to be quiet, handle well and provide excellent traction in both wet and snow conditions...
I replaced the OEM Bridgestone's at 43,000 miles with these Michelins and I would definitely recommend them to anyone! They are light years ahead of the OEM's and I have nothing negative to say about them, period. I do a lot of spirited highway and city driving and they deliver on all levels. I find them to be quiet, handle well and provide excellent traction in both wet and snow conditions. I expect to get a ton of miles out of them. I see no sign of wear what so ever. Great job Michelin!

...Excellent handling, wet or dry, no hydroplaning...
I've had outstanding service and performance with these tires. They have been on my truck for 4 yrs. with no problems. No cracking or dry rot of the sidewalls that some other reviewers have stated. I replaced this set, after 75,000 miles and at least an 1/8th of an inch of tread left, with the same exact tires. My truck drives like new again. Excellent handling, wet or dry, no hydroplaning. Good traction in the winter, with the exception of deep snow and ice covered roads, which no tire does except dedicated winter tires. Living in Michigan I see my share of snow. These Michelin tires have performed, hands down, better than the original Goodyear Wrangler tires that I replaced after only 20,000 miles. I highly recommend these tires and would purchase them again.

Winter traction receives excellent ratings, with most customers scoring 9s and 10s in snow and deep snow. Ice traction sees strong 7-10 scores, indicating reliable grip in typical conditions. A few lower ratings note challenges on sheer ice, but overall performance excels.

...Anyway, this tire has been excellent in all conditions since I put it on this past February 8th, and we had a really nasty winter in New England right through mid-April. I can't wait to get a full winter out of them this year...
Although this particular tire isn't spec'd for this vehicle, it's the tire I wanted for it. So, I carefully took precise measurements to be sure of adequate caliper and fender well clearances, then matched a tire size and wheel combination that would properly fit. This entailed changing the factory 19x7.5 wheels to 18x8, and increasing the tire width ratio to a P265-60R in order to obtain an LTX M/SÂ2 that was manufactured in this 18" size. On this vehicle, this tire is incredible. Plus, with the combination of AWD and StabiliTrak, it's like this baby is glued to the road. I've never squawked the tires taking a turn, even when accelerating in a short, tight turn (think entrance ramp to an interstate highway.) The reason I went to extremes to get this particular tire was because of the truely dismal handful of choices available for 19" tires on these Lambda series vehicles from GM; and because of the tire shortage they had from November 2010 through January 2011 on 19" tires for these vehicles. I almost went with Toyo Versado CUV's in mid-January, but they were on back order until March! Anyway, this tire has been excellent in all conditions since I put it on this past February 8th, and we had a really nasty winter in New England right through mid-April. I can't wait to get a full winter out of them this year. They replaced a set of Goodyear Eagle RS-A's that had less than 12,000 miles on them. I thought it was time after I hydroplaned off the road at 30 MPH in a slow left hand turn when I hit a big puddle just a ways past my local high school 'End School Zone' sign, and went off to the right over the asphalt walkway (no curb), and nearly into the woods. Luckily, there were no kids on the sidewalk and I was able to brake and stop on the asphalt. The car was used and purchased by me three day before. I was used to an Expedition with Goodyear Fortera Triple Treds that cut thru water really well. The LTX M/S2's cut thru it like it's not even there! Incredible Tires!!!

...This tire was GREAT for that. I can't speak for going through a lot of snow, but this was perfect for winter rain, sleet, slush, and light snow while giving me EXCELLENT all around performance for every-day spirited driving...
A little concerned about this tire. Had them installed last December have about 16000 miles on them, checked the tread depth and they are at 8/32nds, seems like they are wearing quickly. At this rate will have to replace by next winter. Had a set of the old M/S's and these new ones don't do quite as well in the light snow as they old ones did. Good quiet tire but disappointed in the tread wear.

...They effortlessly handle our Upstate New York Winters...
This is the best set of tires we have ever owned. These Michelins are on my wife's Honda Pilot and I must say I am thoroughly impressed. They effortlessly handle our Upstate New York Winters and the tread life is outstanding. After witnessing the performance of these tires I switched the tires on my Toyota to Michelins as well.

Customers overwhelmingly rate the Michelin LTX A/T 2's dry traction as excellent, with most scoring 9s and 10s. High marks highlight confident grip and stability, aligning with its on-road all-terrain design. A few 7s suggest minor variability, but overall performance excels in intended conditions.

I have had several sets of tires on this car but none that bring out the best in the handling, quiet and responsiveness in dry and wet. I can never go back to anything else. I hope they hold up to their tread-wear rating.

...They look very sharp on the truck and the grip and ride is phenomenal... period... They stick to the road...
I also have these on my 01 Toyota Tacoma...they are absolutely the BEST!! Worth the money. On my 08 Tundra, I replaced the stock BFGs. Was considering going on with another all-terrain tire, but I hardly go off-road. So I went with the Michelin MS/2's. They look very sharp on the truck and the grip and ride is phenomenal...period. You will not be disappointed. I immediately noticed less rolling resistance. The truck takes less effort to keep the same speed which means I should see an increase in MPG. They don't vibrate. And they stick to the road. A good solid ride, but also comfortable. And in addition they are safe which means a lot. Be sure to get them mounted/balanced by a reputable shop.

...Dry traction is outstanding, very predictable and any lose of traction is gradual and minimal. Stopping distance is outstanding...
Am looking for my next set of tires and it will be hard to buy anything other than another set of Michelin LTX M/S2. I'm finally down to 3/32nds on the tread after 6 years and 128,000 miles and could probably squeeze another 10,000 miles out of them. Easily the best set of tires I have ever had. I had always heard good things about Michelin quality and long life but had never purchased them until this set. I've now experienced it and will never buy anything other than Michelins. It's well worth the little extra expense. Michelin tires are AWESOME!!!!

...Ride quality is top notch. It really is worth the extra cash for these tires...
I regularly haul 3000lbs of water in my truck. I drive and use it very aggressively. These tires have been flawless. I have only had them balanced twice since 2004. 90,000 mostly street miles and I have not hit the wear strips. Ride quality is top notch. It really is worth the extra cash for these tires. I'm ordering another set now, only because they are starting to show signs ...of dry rot

These tires really transformed my truck -- from sharper and more predictable handling to better gas mileage. The biggest improvement, however, is in the area of ride comfort. It's hard to believe that a set of tires could make such a big difference. If you spend a lot of time off-road, these tires might not be your best choice, but in city and highway driving I don't think any other tire can come close.

I now have 11,100 miles on my set of set of LTX M/S2 tires; they still look like I put them on my SUV last week. They provide outstanding handling and ride in every climatic condition in Minnesota, including torrential thunderstorms, blizzards and icestorms. Long uphill grades in 6-8 inches of snow are no problem on a AWD vehicle with these tires. Minimal road noise at 10 to 85 mph on all types of road surfaces except very rough portions of old interstates. The ride is virtually silent and smooth as silk on well maintained asphalt roads. These are unquestionably THE BEST tires I have ever owned and I will be putting a set on my wife's LX 470 very soon. I did a large amount of research before putting this kind of money into a set of tires; they are worth every cent.

...I can't believe how great they wear as well as perform. I have never had tires last this long...
Tires came new on '07 Tundra. I have used Bridgestones in the past, but these tires are awesome. I can't believe how great they wear as well as perform. I have never had tires last this long. Surprisingly, although they are an All-Season Tire for the road, they don't slip in the light mud like I thought they might. I use to build B-Stone Tires and I have to say the Michelin's Rock.
