Max Performance Summer run-flat tires provide temporary self-supporting run-flat mobility for a distance of 50 miles at up to 50 mph, even after a puncture has allowed complete air pressure loss. They are designed for serious driving enthusiasts who want a combination of a performance appearance, competent handling and Z-speed rated (or higher) durability with enhanced dry and wet traction. Often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on powerful sports cars, performance coupes and high performance sedans, Max Performance Summer run-flat tires are not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
O.E. Max Performance Summer run-flat tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle’s original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. run-flat tires’ performance category and specifications.
NOTE: Run-flat tires are only recommended for vehicles that are originally equipped with self-supporting run-flat tires and equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system.

Performance is great in both wet and dry. They are a little stiff, but that helps with the steering feel. They create a bit of road noise (low howl/drone), but it is not very noticeable. All-in-all a great tire for spirited driving on winding rural highways in hill country (when it's not too cold or icy).

This is my second set. These tires are just the best and I tried a number of brands over the years - nothing compares in terms of grip and handling. In Florida we get tropical rains and I feel very secure with these at any speed. They also last long, at least for me with about 90% interstate driving. Previous set lasted 36K miles and would have gone another 3-4K if it were not for a puncture near sidewall for one of them. A bit noisier than some touring tires but the grip and safety worth it.

These tires are very good in all areas of my interest. They are pretty quiet and comfortable in all occasions. I tend to increase pressure when I plan to go for a ride in the mountains, and keep them at the lower recommended pressure during every day use. At higher pressure, the tires are more accurate and feel much more precise around tight curves. Given the weight and power of this car, I have been happy with tire wear. Although, I do not expect them to have much thread left after 15k miles (which would be good under this car).
