Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ 

I live in Tennessee which gets barely too cold for summer tires year round (they get hard and chunky) but still mild enough that summer tires are tempting. These Michelins focus a lot more on grip and feel than most all seasons so they fit the bill perfectly for my needs. Basically they are much closer to a summer tire, rather than splitting the difference down the middle.

The good: The grip these tires produce is simply insane. I can't tell a difference whatsoever from Pilot Super Sports in dry traction. They grip amazingly well in the wet too. Steering response is pretty sharp albeit not quite as communicative as Pilot Super Sports. The looks took a bit for me to get used to as the sipes are pretty aggressive but overall I think it's a good looking tire.

The bad: These tires are LOUD and quite harsh. They aren't as loud as, say, Federal 595 SS but they're very loud for a new tire, especially one of this price. My 6 year old Conti DWS's that were completely bald and had the cords poking out rode significantly better and were also much, much quieter.

Overall: I would recommend these as I've never seen this level of grip in an all season before and in terms of grip and feel, you really don't sacrifice much if anything over a summer tire. That being said, for my personal needs, I'd go Conti DWS06+ next time as I would take a bit less grip for a much quieter tire.

Great all around tire. I daily drive my 660whp Shelby GT500 in Florida. Tires hook and handle well in the dry. They also work very well in the wet weather here. Very confident to drive. This is my second set and i will be getting a third They laat me approximately 2+ years. Very satisfied!

Been in snow in NW Washington State, as well as rain and dry. Also on a nearby roadcourse rain and Dry. Having raced a GTI in SCCA Autocross back in the day, these tires have transformed my CX-3 AWD into a track monster, including in heavy rain!

I previously had a set of the Pilot sport A/S 3 tires on my 2009 Corolla S that I turbocharged and I was so impressed with them that I replaced them with the 3+ and they have not disappointed. I drive the mountain roads and canyons aggressively and I enjoy the experience. I feel like these are 95% of the performance of the summer tire version but do better in cold weather with the occasional light snow. I don't track my car as the summer version would be better but for the road I find this to be an excellent tire in every possible way.

This is my second set of these tires, I'm very happy with the performance, noise level, and tread life. They have nice turn-in response and great cornering feel and traction for when I want to "fling" the car around, but are quiet and comfortable for daily driving/commuting.

A very good looking tire that handles well and is also comfortable.

Blown away at how long these tires have lasted! Original tires failed at 40k, and these still have tread life on them - I'm only having to put on new tires due to two punctures that won't allow me to rotate the tires to the front. These tires have been through it all - dry, rain, and snow and have performed well. Sure there was a little bit of road noise that wasn't expected when I went from the original tires to these, but you get used to it. Super responsive in corners, and even in puddling rain - seriously hydroplaned one time and the tires saved me from it becoming a bad day. I'd HIGHLY recommend buying these and would purchase them again if Tire Rack had them in my size.

After owning 3 sets of Michelin pilot sport A/S 3 Plus on my bmw 535i sport, fronts wear to about 60,000 miles and rears go to 50,000 Miles. The fronts have more tread, maybe 1/8 inch when I replace all of them at a time. I tend to wear them beyond recommended tread height. One time, I had a puncture on a rear and replaced only the rears, but then I drove the fronts to 64,553 miles and wore them to the belts on outer edge of tire. Great tire overall, going to change and try Continental DWS 06 Plus XL next, got a good price.

These tires are excellent tires from Michelin. They grip the road when at WOT much better than the tires I had before these, continental extreme contact DWS. They grip the road extremely well for an so called all season tire. I live in California where it never rains so I bought these tires mostly for there tread wear rating. I needed a tire that satisfied both economy comfort and grip and these tires have seem to have all of those. I ride around on coilover suspension and I demand a specific tire that has tread good wear rating and grip. They ride very quietly and are all that a regular person could ever need in a tire.
