The Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP (Zero Pressure) is Michelin's Ultra High Performance All-Season run-flat tire developed for Original Equipment use on the Chevrolet Corvette. Chosen by Chevrolet as the first all-season OE option on a Corvette, the Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP is built to push the limits of all-season performance, plus provide temporary continued mobility after a puncture has allowed complete loss of pressure for a distance of 50 miles at up to 50 mph. Designed to offer high levels of dry and wet traction, combined with confidence in inclement weather, the Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP aims to control the moment no matter the condition, even in light snow.
Featuring an advanced tread compound molded into an innovative asymmetric pattern, the Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP utilizes large reinforced outboard shoulder blocks that help deliver lateral grip. Dynamic Response Technology evens out the forces exerted on the contact patch during hard cornering, improving handling characteristics and tread wear. Wide circumferential channels combine with large rain grooves to evacuate heavy water from the contact patch, helping increase hydroplaning resistance. Wet traction and stability are further enhanced by the Extreme Silica Compound, along with dynamic biting edges from the distinctive 360 Degree Variable Sipes. These full-depth and interlocking sipes also complement wintertime traction and combine with biting edges molded into the sides of the circumferential grooves to enhance snow performance. The Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP employs Michelin's Helio Technology, which is derived from sunflower oil. This sustainable and biodegradable material helps the tread maintain its flexibility at lower temperatures, ensuring the Pilot All Season 4 ZP's capabilities, even in colder climates.

...Dry and wet it feels like 20% more grip (I'm not saying you can get 20% more G on the skid pad, just describing how it feels). The GY always complained and made you wonder if it would let go when things got exciting. These just grip. No complaints. No drama. Just grip...
I have 40k on the non runflat version of this tire on an almost identical MB wagon. The run flat is noisier. I read the reviews that mentioned that. But I expected a low rumble, not the mid frequency I get. It sounds like waving a switch slowly at 30, and quickly at 55. But like putting a ceiling fan in a room without one, at first all you can hear is the new fan, but pretty quickly you stop hearing it. After a couple of weeks I mostly don't hear them, and when I do notice them I forget in a mile. What do I notice? The grip. It is MUCH better than the OEM Good Year Eagle runflat. Dry and wet it feels like 20% more grip (I'm not saying you can get 20% more G on the skid pad, just describing how it feels) . The GY always complained and made you wonder if it would let go when things got exciting. These just grip. No complaints. No drama. Just grip. These tires are fantastic combination of dry and wet grip, durability(I expect), and run flat. I was concerned dropping from a 45 to a 40 (they don't make it in a 45 for my size), but I honestly can't tell the difference in comfort. I would accept a bit of noise for the confidence these tires give me every day of the week.

The tires work extremely well under hard acceleration compared to the factory eagle super car 3 without extreme temperatures which Goodyear requires , I have not driven it at the track to see how they hold up, but I wanted a tire like this that if I got caught out in the rain, which I don’t usually try to drive in the rain that I had a tire that was safe . Also looking Forward to getting more than 5000 miles out of a tire set .

Tires are great accept not great for a Corvette Z06. I'm always spinning the tires when driving not including spirited driving. I can feel the tires breaking traction on dry pavement. I have a 7 speed manual trans and running the gears even at lower speeds will some times spin the tires. I bought these tires thinking that all seasons would give me the opportunity to drive year round which they do. However, owning a Corvette is reason to accelerate occasionally just to hear the exhaust. These tires again are great accept not for any type of Corvette driving.I mostly experience spinning shifting into 2nd and 3rd gear under 40 mph. However, to each their own. It appears that the life of these tires might be great because of the wear rating of 540. Just my opinion as a purchaser.

I bought these tires since they had a 540 treadwear rating and I wanted my tires to last a little longer than usual. In general, tires with a high treadwear rating do last longer than those with a lower rating, but at the tradeoff of traction... I'm only going to buy tires with a 220 or less treadwear rating in the future for better dry traction.
I bought these tires since they had a 540 treadwear rating and I wanted my tires to last a little longer than usual. In general, tires with a high treadwear rating do last longer than those with a lower rating, but at the tradeoff of traction. I bought them since many ratings seemed to show they had excellent dry traction and handling in wet conditions. Let me strongly disagree with the dry traction claim of these tires being good. Dry traction performance was one of the worst of the tires I've tried. It was like driving on solid plastic tires. They spin all the time when you want them to grip the asphalt road. They spin all the time during acceleration and keep spinning throughout the acceleration and shifting. They keep spinning for about twice as long as other tires I've had for the same rpm and gear. The constant spinning of these tires make them a non starter for any future purchase. They were ok in rain which is why I liked them compared to some other tires that started out with much less than 10/32 Tread depth. I'm only going to buy tires with a 220 ot less treadwear rating in the future for better dry traction.
