The Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP (Zero Pressure) is Michelin's Ultra High Performance All-Season run-flat tire developed for Original Equipment use on the Chevrolet Corvette. Chosen by Chevrolet as the first all-season OE option on a Corvette, the Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP is built to push the limits of all-season performance, plus provide temporary continued mobility after a puncture has allowed complete loss of pressure for a distance of 50 miles at up to 50 mph. Designed to offer high levels of dry and wet traction, combined with confidence in inclement weather, the Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP aims to control the moment no matter the condition, even in light snow.
Featuring an advanced tread compound molded into an innovative asymmetric pattern, the Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP utilizes large reinforced outboard shoulder blocks that help deliver lateral grip. Dynamic Response Technology evens out the forces exerted on the contact patch during hard cornering, improving handling characteristics and tread wear. Wide circumferential channels combine with large rain grooves to evacuate heavy water from the contact patch, helping increase hydroplaning resistance. Wet traction and stability are further enhanced by the Extreme Silica Compound, along with dynamic biting edges from the distinctive 360 Degree Variable Sipes. These full-depth and interlocking sipes also complement wintertime traction and combine with biting edges molded into the sides of the circumferential grooves to enhance snow performance. The Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP employs Michelin's Helio Technology, which is derived from sunflower oil. This sustainable and biodegradable material helps the tread maintain its flexibility at lower temperatures, ensuring the Pilot All Season 4 ZP's capabilities, even in colder climates.

...Driving home from the tire shop in the rain was an eye opener. The Michelins don't seem to care if the pavement is wet or dry. They have tons of grip at all times...
My 2017 Golf came with Continental ProContact TX tires in size 205/55R16. I replaced these with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires at 35,700 miles when the Continentals were worn out. Got new rims as well and moved up to 225/45ZR17. Just did the first rotation and I'm thoroughly pleased with the upgrade. Driving home from the tire shop in the rain was an eye opener. The Michelins don't seem to care if the pavement is wet or dry. They have tons of grip at all times. The combination of bigger rims and stickier tire compound made the car feel glued to the road. Steering feels more immediate too, without a noticeable increase in road noise or ride harshness. Traction control still kicks in sometimes during jackrabbit starts, but less often than before. With 234 horsepower and 273 pound of feet of torque going to the front wheels (APR stage 1 ECU tune), I have to go easy on the gas pedal when accelerating from a standstill.
I expect to keep the car for a long time, and I expect to buy these Michelin tires again (or their successors) when my current set is worn out.

Great wet and dry performance, with significant resistance to hydroplaning. These are on a 510hp rwd car, so... it's nice to avoid wheelslip just pulling away from a light when it's raining hard and water has filled the wagon ruts that make up a lot of roads in Seattle.

...The wet performance is excellent and confidence inspiring...
These replaced the factory Kumho’s which were always a little vague in their response and a little harsh in their ride quality. These Michelin’s fixed all that! They are quiet, track well with no correction inputs, smooth as glass, and turn in predictably. The wet performance is excellent and confidence inspiring. An immediate and distinct improvement over the stock Kumho’s!

...Really amazing tire in the wet and dry the only problem is you don't really know you limitations...
excellent in wet . Car had run flats that I hated when purchased. These tires are slightly different size but same OD. Jeep SRT handling is twitchy and somewhat soft but still firm, so not real predictable or linear in handling characteristics . Had a Trailblazer SS previously that was more predictable but less powerful so some of my comments about tires are related to SRT handling characteristics not necessarily the tire. Really amazing tire in the wet and dry the only problem is you don't really know you limitations. Drive mostly on country roads with high crown and off camber corners with bumps, so the SRT suspension tuned for smooth track like surfaces does not inspire a lot of confidence on this type of road with a 5000# car with almost 500 horsepower. Great tire though.

...They are very smooth and comfortable riding with a supple feel and good road feedback. Other tire All-Season tires I have owned feel harder and less grippy by comparison...
These are the best tires I have ever bought for my car, and I have owned it since 2005, even better than summer performance tires from other brands. They are very smooth and comfortable riding with a supple feel and good road feeback. Other tire All-Season tires I have owned feel harder and less grippy by comparison. If the tread on the tires last as long as expected they are the best performance per dollar value in my opinion. The rebate offered by Michelin certainly sweetened the deal as well.

As far as daily driving comfort, the noise level isn't noticeably different from the previous set. The ride did feel a little smoother on bumps, but that could've just been from tire balancing/alignment I guess. My car did feel more stable at highway speeds, which made my car feel more comfortable for long-distance drives...
As a car enthusiast, even though I am only driving a Volkswagen, I wanted to try a more performance-oriented tire when it came time to buy new tires for my car for the first time. I had read many great things about Michelin Pilot Sport tires, so after some research, I went with the 4 All-Seasons for mine as it seemed to be the perfect blend of affordability, performance, and tire life. From the start, I noticed much better wet-weather performance than the previous set I had, even comparing to how the previous set felt when new. I had much more confidence in the grip my car had in rainy conditions and felt comfortable driving at the speed limit even in near-heavy rain in Florida, which I did not feel on the previous set that would hydroplane quite easily in moderate rain. I took my car up to mountain roads in north Georgia for the first time for some spirited driving, and was extremely impressed with how much grip my simple Jetta was able to have on a winding mountain road. As far as daily driving comfort, the noise level isn't noticeably different from the previous set. The ride did feel a little smoother on bumps, but that could've just been from tire balancing/alignment I guess. My car did feel much more stable at highway speeds, which made my car feel more comfortable for long-distance drives.
The biggest improvements for me were definitely wet-weather performance and high-speed stability, since these were the conditions I'd face most often on a commute. I will definitely buy these same tires for my next car, but hopefully by then, they'll be for something cooler.

...Treadwear is very good so far I am at 6/32 to 7/32; I expect at least another 20,000 miles from these before they are too worn down to be safe for winter usage, which is pretty good for my driving style...
I bought these in summer 2022 and now have exactly 20,000 miles. Most of my driving is in the city in stop and go conditions from 55 or 65 mph to zero for about 10-15 miles each way every day. And then on the weekend some twisty mountain roads.
These tires have exceeded my expectations in pretty much every regard. I've previously had the Pilot Sport 3 summer tire, and this tire has about 90% of the grip of that tire in good weather. Hydroplaning resistance is maybe a little bit less than the PS3 was. Comfort levels are also very high considering the quality of the local roads and a 40-series sidewall. It's close to some grand touring tires I've had from Pirelli and Continental. Noise levels are very good as well, though they have gotten louder in 20,000 miles, but not uncomfortably so. The Hankook UHP all seasons I had on before these were noticeably terrible at this point in their life.
Treadwear is very good so far I am at 6/32 to 7/32; I expect at least another 20,000 miles from these before they are too worn down to be safe for winter usage, which is pretty good for my driving style.
They do very well so far in light to moderate snowfall. They are certainly not on the same level as a dedicated winter tire, or even CrossClimates that I've had on a RWD Mercedes, but they work well in my city, which usually does a good job clearing the roads. In ice, they are about the same as every all season. If you are in a humid winter environment where there is ice, you really should be running winter tires.
I would definitely recommend these to almost anyone. I would buy them again if I were not a tire nerd who has to try out something new every time I get tires :D
