Michelin Pilot Sport GT M vs Hoosier R7 – 2025 Test 4B(5:08)

Test 4B of the 2025 Tire Rack Testing Program is a first of its kind. We took a top-performing DOT Radial (commonly called R-Comp), the Hoosier R7, and compared it to a Circuit Race tire, a true “slick”, the Pilot Sport GT M. Racetrack & Autocross Only Tires – 2025 Test 4C(16:15)

The demands track drivers have of Racetrack & Autocross Only tires can vary as much as the tire options themselves, so what better way to test than to run them on a dedicated road course? Of the six in this test, we have one tried and true staple in the R-Comp world, two newcomers, two popular choices, and a full, non-DOT-approved full racing slick. Leaving no stone unturned, or maybe no corner unturned, this test gives racers the information to make the best choice for their needs. Check it out!
