The Cobra Radial G/T is Cooper's Performance All-Season tire developed to combine responsive handling and comfortable operation with all-season capabilities for the drivers of muscle cars, kit cars, light trucks and street rods looking for white-lettered performance tires. Exceeds my expectations of what a low-profile tire can do. Dry handling is satisfactory for vehicle type. Maintain the pressure at the manufacturer's recommendation and the ride comfort is what I expect. However, as little as 5psi can make a big difference. Wet handling is where this tire shines. Despite the wet wintertime conditions in the Pacific Northwest, these tires have gripped well and never allowed me to be surprised when hitting standing water. Off-road traction constantly impresses me for a street-oriented tire. I've exposed these tires to sharp rocks, dry hard-packed clay, moderately deep mud, and light sandy conditions. In fact, I cracked a rim during an exceptionality rough off-road excursion. Despite having to replace the rim, I had the same tire remounted and continue on it a year later. Point is, I've required more of these tires than I think they're designed for and they haven't disappointed. At 36K, treadwear appears to be on par with the expected tire life. I plan to purchase these tires again.

Despite the low tread life, the traction stayed excellent until the last day we drove on them. I replaced them with Bridgestone Alenzas and I'm sorry I did. Now that it's snowing and turning to ice, I really miss the Michelins. The LTX premier is a far better tire for ice and snow. I will admit that the Alenza is a better tire for rain because of it's deeper tread and water channeling. Next time, I'm going back to the Michelins.

If you want a luxurious tire that does everything great but wears out super fast, this is the tire for you. When new, these tires deliver a fantastic ride. The first 15,000 miles the tires are a dream. They roll very quietly, absorbs bumps, have good dry traction and also great traction in the wet. Even in the snow the tires will perform quite well. Michelin has designed a fantastic tire EXCEPT tread wear. The mileage warranty is for 60,000 miles. You will not get anywhere close to 60,000 miles, maybe not even half of that. Think about that. For the price of the tires, at best you will get maybe 30,000 miles. For reference, the suspension is stock Toyota. Everything has been replaced with factory Toyota parts around 90,000 miles, therefore there is no issue of worn out suspension causing premature tire wear. Tires were rotated every 5000 miles. I have 23,000 miles on it and tread depth is at 3/32" now. If you read the specification, it says the starting tread depth is 8/32". Most other tires in this category will start at 11 or 12/32". Meaning the tire, when new, has already 4/32" (an eight of an inch) less tread depth than a similar tire from a competitor. Legally your tires are 'worn out' at 2/32". So you only have 6/32" of usable tread depth. Meanwhile competitor tires starting at 12/32" have 10/32" of usable tread depth, which is a lot more than the Premier LTX. If you have the budget to replace tires often, this is the tire for you. But if you are looking for a great tire with good tread life, this is not the tire for you.

Completely agree with the reviews of this tire. The tire rides great, is quiet and has very good wet and dry traction. Ok in snow. Not great cornering as it rolls a fair bit but we have a big SUV...probably better for lighter SUVs. Tread wear is not good. We got 40k of out them and they are completely shot. They had 4/32's left at 25k miles. For a tire that is $280 before discounts they are probably not worth it unless Michelin steps up on their warranty and gives us a 1/3 price back on a new set - if they don't we'll not be buying Michelin's this go around.

Tires were past their wear bars when they were changed. This was the second LTX set on the vehicle with the first set (estimated since it was leased) that we determined the tires must have been replaced shortly before/after coming off lease which was 36K. At around 75K we replaced the tires with the same LTX since we were going on a family cross-country trip and needed tires immediately. Now 2.5 years later we're replacing them again. When inspection was done 1K miles ago, the tread wear was at 2/32. Now it's winter here. I’ll never purchase another Michelin product. Overpriced for what you get. Many other brands out there with better overall performance. And these are rated for 60K??? Completely Unacceptable.

The 5 year and 60,000 mile warrenty is useless as the original installer (costco) stated that I had to provide paper proof that the tires had been rotated and balanced every 5000 miles, and then only one tire would qualify for rebate as the others were 3 were 1 mm more than the minimum. Good bye Michelin tires. $1,000 for tires that last for only 22,000 miles is unacceptable.
