The Primacy 3 is Michelin's Grand Touring Summer tire built to maintain the safety, feel and performance of classic cars without compromising their unique style. The even rib distribution of the Primacy 3's symmetric tread design was fine-tuned to provide a quiet, sophisticated ride expected of a touring tire. Wide shoulder blocks aid dry handling and lateral grip, and sweeping grooves help evacuate water for hydroplaning resistance. Sipes located in the center ribs provide additional traction in wet or slippery conditions.
Internal construction of the Primacy 3 consists of two wide steel belts atop a single-ply, polyester casing. An additional polyamide reinforcement ply further stabilizes the tread to provide high-speed handling and durability
