The 4x4 Contact is Continental's Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tire designed to make touring tire looks and handling available for the drivers of premium crossover and sport utility vehicles. Used as Original Equipment on BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche vehicles, the 4x4 Contact combines the large rim diameter sizes appropriate for light trucks with Continental's original ContiTouringContact CH95 style tread design to deliver comfort, handling and all-season traction, even in light snow.

The 4x4 Contact features a silica-enhanced all-season tread compound that helps improve cold weather traction. This compound is molded into a symmetric tread design that provides for the ability to rotate tires to maximize tread life. The tread pattern is also computer-optimized to reduce noise and heavily siped to provide the additional biting edges necessary to enhance traction in light snow. The tire's internal structure features twin steel belts combined with a spirally wound jointless nylon reinforcement to blend high-speed durability with ride uniformity.

NOTE: While Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tires offer all-season versatility including traction in light snow, tire sizes featuring extremely wide tread widths may limit the traction this type of tire can provide in deep snow.

Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Run Flat Reviews

Ratings highlight excellence in comfort with frequent 9-10 scores for a smooth, quiet ride, and strong treadwear ratings (7-10) that align well with grand touring expectations. Winter traction earns solid 7-8 scores for reliable all-season capability, though a few note mixed results on ice. Wet traction impresses with consistent 8-9 ratings for confident handling and hydroplaning resistance, while dry traction shines with near-perfect 9-10 scores for responsive steering and stability. Customers praise its balanced performance for year-round driving, emphasizing comfort and dry/wet prowess as standout traits. A handful of lower treadwear scores (3-6) suggest variability in longevity, but most report satisfaction with durability.

I live in Michigan, and so all weather performance is crucial, and these are really good all year round, through hot/dry, rainy, and snowy/cold...

I like these tires a lot, because I can trust them to perform whenever I need them to. I really much prefer run-flats to needing to carry and deploy sealant in case of punctures, and runflat options in the Giulia's staggered sizes are very few. I have tried standard tires (i.e. non run-flat), but the difference in ride quality and performance in All Seasons was not worth trading off the run-flat security and convenience. I live in Michigan, and so all weather performance is crucial, and these are really good all year round, through hot/dry, rainy, and snowy/cold. I'm an aggressive driver, so being able to rely on my tires is crucial, and the Pirelli deliver confidence.

...Excellent run flat alternative, quiet, comfortable and predictable handling.

These tires replaced OEM tires of the same brand and model. Excellent run flat alternative, quiet, comfortable and predictable handling. I did not rotate my OEM’s which required replacement at 21,000 miles (front worn to 3/32 & rear to 5/32). I’m estimating they would have lasted another 5,000 with proper rotation.

...with 12,000 miles on them they are showing hardly any wear at all.

When I purchased my X3 it had these brand new Pirelli’s on it and they are run-flats and they are All-Season. Pirelli also has a Max Performance run-flat and I would have preferred that for the way I drive but I’ll be living with the All-Season for a very long time because of the tread wear rating of 400; with 12,000 miles on them they are showing hardly any wear at all.
