The TerrainContact A/T is Continental's On-Road All-Terrain tire developed for the drivers of pickup trucks, Jeeps, SUVs and crossover vehicles looking for civilized behavior on-road with the benefit of off-road capability when they need it. Designed to combine a quiet highway ride and long tread life with all-terrain performance, the TerrainContact A/T provides year-round traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, even in snow.
TerrainContact A/T tires feature a +Silane enhanced all-season compound molded into a mild all-terrain tread pattern. The open pattern improves traction off-road, while the stable tread blocks and closed shoulder design help provide long tread life and resist uneven wear. The +Silane additives further extend tread life and increase wet grip, and the full-depth sipes and edge-of-the-block traction grooves increase all-season traction throughout the life of the tire.
Internal construction of the TerrainContact A/T includes two high-tensile steel belts with a spirally-wound polyamide reinforcement supported by a two-ply casing.

We’ve driven over 60,000 miles on both sets of tires. We live in a warmer wet climate so tires that grip well in rain are a must. These are so good I’m going to put a new set on my Honda again.

Fairly slippery on snow but this is a Mustang not intended for that-made it through the local neighborhood though and it can be navigated with some care. Very happy with these. So far not showing wear at 5K.

My top was down on a warm spring day right after I had them installed and I was blown away by the fact that I could not hear the tires rolling at all, I had to listen hard for the whisper. Handling has been a dream so far, I've had them since spring and I put the car away mid-October. I did a long highway trip to British Columbia from the prairies and it was a beautiful drive through the mountains with these. Awesome ride, great cornering, excellent through any rain and super responsive all the way through. I've found city driving to be really good too, very precise steering. I rave about these tires to my friends and do not hesitate recommending them. I have had these tires on my daily commuter car, a 2013 Nissan Leaf, for three years and just under 22,500 miles and love them. A Nissan Leaf is not a sports car, but being electric (meaning all of your torque is available from the moment you put your foot down on the accelerator) it does put some grind to the tires (even when on city streets and in traffic). These have held up very nicely. The tread wear is minimal giving the mileage. The tires are very quiet, which is very important given that road noise is about all I hear since the car is electric. They track well, give good grip starting and stopping, and do well in rain. I have only driven on them in very light snow and they did fine, but as a summer tire you wouldn't want to go out in real snow with them. Living in the Southeast means I don't have to worry about snow very often. Although not an "eco focused" tire, they seem to give slightly better range per charge than the OE tires that came with the car. Considering the price, these have been a great purchase. Since I put so few miles on every year, it will be a long time before I need new tires, but I would purchase these again.

The ride quality is pretty good and the noise level is more than acceptable. I drive in Southern California so I drive the majority of the miles on dry highway roads. The tires handle and respond very well. I will definitely buy another set, when these tires wear out.
