The Cinturato WeatherActive is Pirelli's Grand Touring All-Season tire developed for drivers of passenger cars looking for comfort and confident performance in dry, wet, and light snow conditions. The Cinturato WeatherActive meets industry severe snow service requirements for the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol and as an all-weather tire, is designed to be a single tire solution for drivers in environments that experience all four seasons, but don't receive sufficient snowfall to require a dedicated winter tire.
The Cinturato WeatherActive's innovative polymer/resin compound is molded into a V-formation directional tread pattern designed to deliver dry, wet, and wintertime performance as well as quiet on-road comfort. A narrow, long footprint and rigid 3-rib block design provide lateral traction and stability through turns in dry and wet conditions. A central zig-zag groove and trumpet-shaped lateral grooves work together for wet weather handling and hydroplaning resistance. Multiple biting edges combine with deep sipes and generous shoulder notches for increased snow traction sufficient to receive the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.
The internal construction of the Pirelli Cinturato WeatherActive consists of a two-ply polyester casing supporting two steel belts. Two polyamide reinforcement plies enhance high-speed stability and performance.
Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

I am extremely impressed with the performance of these tires so far. I was able to drive in multiple weather conditions - dry/warm (75 degrees or more), heavy rain, and light and heavy snowfall. Dry traction and wet traction are great. I am very impressed with the snow traction as of now. I even attempted to make my car slide in the snow, and was not able to do so successfully with these tires!!
With how aggressive the tread is on the tire, they are not too noisy and ride pretty smooth as well.
I drive a lot, so I am eager to see how long the tread life lasts on these tires. Very pleased with the purchase so far. An all-around excellent all season tire.

...When we started our day, the snow had been falling in Madison for several hours and it kept snowing all the way to Milwaukee... Wet and slushy snow, blowing snow, or partially plowed freeway...I experienced all these conditions on this six hour drive, and these tires performed unbelievably well. I never once felt like I would lose control in these terrible winter conditions, even when changing lanes with slushy snow in between lanes...
I don't review many things I purchase on-line but after driving on these tires through a major snowstorm this past week in Wisconsin and Minnesota (Madison to Milwaukee back to Madison and then to the Twin Cities), I can say that I would purchase these again if I never move from the upper Midwest. When we started our day, the snow had been falling in Madison for several hours and it kept snowing all the way to Milwaukee. The snow never stopped as we finished a doctor's appointment there and returned to Madison before heading home to the Twin Cities. The highway was plowed and salted on the drive back to Madison so road was pretty wet. Tires felt excellent and I drove the regular posted speed limit. From Madison to the Twin Cities, the snow kept falling for the next four hours of our drive. Some sections of the freeway were plowed but most were not; the plow trucks just couldn't keep up. Many, many semis and other vehicles were in the ditch all along the freeway as we drove home. Wet and slushy snow, blowing snow, or partially plowed freeway...I experienced all these conditions on this six hour drive, and these tires just performed unbelievably well. I never once felt like I would lose control in these terrible winter conditions, even when changing lanes with slushy snow in between lanes (used to hate doing this, never felt safe on these bigger tire sizes). On my old OEM Continental all-season tires, I would have pulled over and spent the night in a hotel to wait out the snowstorm. I cannot recommend these tires more. I originally wanted the Michelin Cross Climate 2s but those tires don't come in this size. I don't regret buying Perilli all-weather tires. Highly recommend them to anyone in the Midwest who spend 4-5 months driving in wet, snowy conditions and don't want a set of all-season and another set of winter tires.

Bro, like two weeks ago I drove my m340i in the most blizzardy blizzard I’ve experienced in my young life. Was in sierras on sketchy mountain roads for like 4 hours and it was absolutely dumping snow. 8-10” fell during my trip, not to mention the ~6” that accumulated before I left the mountain. Tons of spun out vehicles and like zero visibility. These tires were absolutely BEASTLY. Now go buy them because they work v v v well in wet snow dry warm cold. Incredible all around tire.

...Dry traction is impressive for the class of tire especially considering the the heat outside mid (90's F). These Pirelli tires are smooth when I want them and at least in the dry they are performing to a surprisingly high level when pushed close to their limit...
I have 200 miles on this set of tires. My initial experience with these Pirelli tires is good. I’m liking them a lot. Much quieter than the factory tires “Dunlop SP SPORT MAXX GT” that came on my car. When compared to the Dunlops the initial turn in is not as aggressive, but that’s to be expected with an all weather tire. Steering feel is good and after the initial turn in are confidence inspiring. So far these are much quieter “I can actually hear my turbo now” and ride much smoother than the Dunlops. Dry traction is impressive for the class of tire especially considering the the heat outside mid (90’s F). These Pirelli tires are smooth when I want them and at least in the dry they are performing to a surprisingly high level when pushed close to their limit. Have not tested in rain or snow yet. Will update when I do.

...On dry pavement, the grip is solid and consistent...
After switching to the Pirelli Cinturato WeatherActive tires, I can confidently say they’ve exceeded expectations. Right away, I noticed the tread pattern. It’s sleek, modern, and adds a subtle performance edge to the car’s overall look. But these tires aren’t just about looks. They deliver strong results where it counts.
Traction is excellent in both wet and dry conditions. On dry pavement, the grip is solid and consistent. In the rain, the tires hold up impressively well. I’ve driven through heavy downpours and standing water without any loss of control or hydroplaning. These tires provide real peace of mind when the weather turns.
Steering and handling feel smooth and responsive. The tires stay composed through corners, even at higher speeds. There’s no squishiness or lag, just a steady and confident feel. The ride is also very comfortable. Road imperfections are muted nicely, and the cabin stays calm and quiet. I was surprised by how little road noise there is, especially for an all-season tire.
Another bonus is fuel efficiency. I haven’t seen any drop in MPG since installing these. If anything, I’ve noticed a slight improvement, which is a great extra perk.
Overall, the WeatherActive tires offer a well-rounded package. They look sharp, handle well, feel great to drive on, and perform reliably in all weather conditions. If you’re looking for a tire that delivers a quiet, confident ride with year-round dependability, this set deserves a spot at the top of your list.

...Handling on dry and wet asphalt is also very secure. Even at high speed, the tires let you easily control the car and always let you know that they are at the limit, making spiritual driving safer...
So far, those are the best tires I have ever had. And I know what I'm talking about (11 years of a rally racing experience. I know how to choose tires). Pirelli Cinturato Weatheractive are great tires. In one year of using it, I had many chances to experience their qualities under very diverse conditions. In a week of putting them on, I had to drive from VA to FL (march, 2024); about 200 hundred miles - under heavy rain in SC and GA. The tires provided very secure grip and there was no hydroplaning even though at a rather high speed. This, 2025, winter we had a couple of heavy snowstorms. During one of them I was caught on the road and my tires amazed me again. There were plenty different vehicles struggling around me, but my car was going with a great deal of confidence. Of course Audi's all-wheel-drive, the transmission's true manual mode matter too, but the tires held bad road conditions admirably, providing excellent performance in deep and shallow snow as well as securely holding the car on ice. That trip was an adventure, challenging, but not stressful. Handling on dry and wet asphalt is also very secure. Even at high speed, the tires let you easily control the car and always let you know that they are at the limit, making spiritual driving safer. A couple of times I experienced them on gravel roads. Each time that would immediately bring my racing memories: that good they were. You can buy several sets of specialty tires (for dry surface, for wet one, for snow/ice, for gravel, etc.) or you can buy these Pirelli Cinturato.

...Tread wear appears to be even asked minimal over 15000 miles rotated front to back (since they're directional) every 5000 miles.
Great tires! Definitely the best all weather tires. I prioritized dry, summer driving since it's the majority of my driving, but they also handle well in the snow. Tread wear appears to be even asked minimal over 15000 miles rotated front to back (since they're directional) every 5000 miles.

...The tire so far is fantastic with 26,894 miles on the tire sitting at 7/32 left I'm hoping with regular rotations and wearing the tire down to 2/32 I can reach the 60k miles.
I do 1500 miles per week which is 95% highway driving in the Midwest and decided to go with another all-weather tire, previously on the Nokian WRG4 (they worn down and were replaced at 50k miles) and wanted to try the new Pirelli Cinturato Weatheractive all-weather tire and compare the tread life. The tire so far is fantastic with 26,894 miles on the tire sitting at 7/32 left I'm hoping with regular rotations and wearing the tire down to 2/32 I can reach the 60k miles.

Breaking Down Tire Performance Categories - 2024 Special Test With Winter Update(26:05)
We understand that tire performance categories can be confusing. You want an all-season tire, but there are several all-season categories; how do you know which one is right for you? You want a summer tire, but again, which summer category? In this special demonstration, we took six all-season tires from three all-season categories and three summer tires from two summer categories to lay it out for you. Category-leading tires from the Standard Touring All-Season, Grand Touring All-Season, Ultra High Performance All-Season, Max Performance Summer, and Extreme Performance Summer categories are tested so you can see exactly what each "step up" gets you as a driver and what trade-offs were made along the way.
