The P Zero All Season Plus Elect is Pirelli's Ultra High Performance All-Season tire developed for drivers of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) looking for enhanced performance specifically tailored to a BEVs unique characteristics. Derived from the well-rounded, non-Elect P Zero All Season Plus, the Elect model is designed to provide familiar, high levels of year-round performance while offering increased focus on important BEV metrics.

An advanced, all-season compound designed to provide the tire's essential low rolling resistance is molded into a proven, asymmetric pattern engineered to balance traction, energy consumption, and noise comfort. Robust tread blocks help stabilize the footprint under the intense cornering loads and high longitudinal forces created from the high-torque motors and low center of gravity found on many BEVs. Along with providing immediate acceleration, BEVs' electric motors offer quieter operation than their internal combustion engine counterparts, making tire noise attenuation a higher priority. The P Zero All Season Plus Elect leverages the Pirelli Noise Cancelling System (PNCS), which utilizes a layer of sound-absorbing foam adhered to the inner liner of the tire. The PNCS is designed to reduce cavity and airborne sounds, helping lower cabin noise. The Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus Elect also aims to offer improved levels of wet and winter weather traction that fall in line with the tire's more traction-focused, non-BEV specific counterparts.

Internal construction of the P Zero All Season Plus Elect features twin steel belts and a reinforced, two-ply polyester casing engineered to manage BEVs' higher axle loads while maximizing comfort. Two polyamide reinforcement plies are included to maintain predictable handling and high-speed stability while helping promote even tread wear.

...These have fantastic cornering and steering feel in the dry and they do great in the wet too...

Well since there are no reviews yet on these tires figured I’d do a first initial review and update later if it changes to help someone. Was between these and the new Goodyear ElectricDrive GT. Decided on Perelli as I’ve never like Goodyear tires. Compared to the original cont. pro contact rx (stock 19 inch tires) these are even quieter. Smooth and buttery ride and great efficiency! Was kinda iffy if I wanted to pay the extra money for the “elect” but just having worn through the cont. pure contact in 30,000 miles, these are the best tires for my Tesla and I do think the elect definitely makes a difference. I was shocked leaving the tire shop and getting on the highway after install and having it be SO QUIET. Can just hear wind noise now -_- Pure contacts from day 1 had annoying growl/hum after about 35- 40 mph and just got worse as they wore. Efficiency is actually quite shocking. Low to mid 200’s in WINTER (pzero)! Even worn down bald pure contacts were high 200’s almost 300 from day 1 and never improved much at all. These have fantastic cornering and steering feel in the dry and they do great in the wet too. Haven’t experienced snow or ice yet so can’t give anything on that yet. So far so good! Definitely will update later on. Maybe come summer time which will put me about half way through the tire.

Great handling in wet, in dry, in a little snow, and in some ice...

Great handling in wet, dry, a little snow, and some ice. No deep snow yet. Downside: took a fairly big hit on range. OE Michelins were great on range, noise, dry handling and awful on treadwear. Looking forward to future options that don’t take as big a bite out of range but still handle like a performs e tire. As usual, Tire Rack rocked, including warning me of a potential range hit.

...We drove in 500 miles in -6 degrees with 3-6" of snow that was drifting across the road. Cars and trucks were sliding off of the highway all over 70 and 71. No slipping even when I went up steep hills, through snow drifts and icy conditions.

I put these tires on right before the Christmas blizzard in the Midwest. These tires are amazing! So much better in the snow and ice than the OEM tire (Goodyear EAGLE F1 ASYMMETRIC 5 (M+S)). Last year we hit some snow and the OEM tires were not good at all, no traction on snow or ice. Slippery and dangerous even with 4 wheel drive in the Tesla.

The Pirelli P ZERO ALL SEASON PLUS ELECT are so much better! We drove in 500miles in -6 degrees with 3-6" of snow that was drifting across the road. Cars and trucks were sliding off of the highway all over 70 and 71. No slipping even when I went up steep hills, through snow drifts and icy conditions. I even went out and did some doughnuts in a parking lot for fun.

Couldn't be happier, so much better than the OEM in all aspects. They are quiet, tread life should be better, around 50K (only 28K on OEM) and confidence in the snow!

Only about 1,000 miles so far on my 2021 Tesla Y, but so far - really good! Much quieter than the stock tires and better winter performance. We'll see how they wear, but I am optimistic!

...Pirelli really hit the ball out of the park with this offering. I would argue that the ride is better with this specifically engineered electric vehicle tire and the treat wear has been good so far (about 10k miles). Wear is even.

I was very impressed with this tire. It exceeds the OEM tire which was very carefully selected by Tesla.

I have put an number of different tires on my the Tesla Model S as I have 150k miles on my vehicle now. After trying many different combinations I went back to the OEM tire that was delivered to the vehicle because they were the "quietest" with the foam inserts.

Pirelli really hit the ball out of the park with this offering. I would argue that the ride is better with this specifically engineered electric vehicle tire and the treat wear has been good so far (about 10k miles). Wear is even. The ride is excellent. And with the noise absorbing foam in these tires it is very quiet. I had previously tried many versions of Michelin tires that were not engineered for electric vehicles the tires wore out very quickly due to the weight of the vehicle.

This tire have exceeded my expectations.

Far better than the stock Michelins. Much quieter than I had expected. Fantastic dry traction and very good wet traction. Tesla Model 3 is a bit of a lead sled, so not sure if it ever will be able to score a 9 or 10/10 for snow. Probably not the tire's fault. If I were just giving the review as a comparison to Michelin Primacy MXM4 (stock) all scores would be 10/10.

Initially skeptical; however, once these tires were on my Tesla the ride changed completely. The tire noise is minimal, and the ride and comfort of the tire are outstanding. The tire completely changed the way my car handles and rides. Previous tires were OEM Goodyear Tires but they do not measure up to the Perilli PZ4. Highly recommended if you want a better ride and traction. They also look great on the car! I am hoping to report back in about 10K to 20K miles to let you know how these tires are holding up. Right now though I highly recommend these tires for Tesla EVs.

...The tires are far more comfortable than the rubber band it had before and the noise dampening is awesome where I hear virtually no road noise...

These tires have held up extremely well and have exceeded my expectations. I rotate them every 3-4k miles and keep adequate tire pressure in them year around. I do not take it easy on them though with my driving style. Now that they have some wear on them, my only noticeable area that they suffer is from wet corner handling at above "recommended" speeds on certain pavement types. To the normal driver, in a non performance Tesla, this would not be an issue!! The tires are far more comfortable than the rubber band it had before and the noise dampening feature is awesome where I hear virtually no road noise. I will purchase the same set of tires next time around!!!

...We had 13,000 miles on the P-Zeros, and probably could have driven them another 5,000-8,000 miles, but they were starting to get noisy. These, hopefully, with a high treadwear rating, should last us at least 30,000 miles--probably more.

So far, these tires are great. I replaced my P-Zero OE tires with these--they are noticeably quieter and, surprisingly, a bit more efficient. We don't drive our Mach-E hard, so we don't really notice any difference in handling except perhaps when going around a corner to accelerate onto the freeway, if we go hard, you can tell that the sidewalls on these are a bit softer, but not enough to cause us to drive any differently.
