The P Zero All Season Plus Elect is Pirelli's Ultra High Performance All-Season tire developed for drivers of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) looking for enhanced performance specifically tailored to a BEVs unique characteristics. Derived from the well-rounded, non-Elect P Zero All Season Plus, the Elect model is designed to provide familiar, high levels of year-round performance while offering increased focus on important BEV metrics.
An advanced, all-season compound designed to provide the tire's essential low rolling resistance is molded into a proven, asymmetric pattern engineered to balance traction, energy consumption, and noise comfort. Robust tread blocks help stabilize the footprint under the intense cornering loads and high longitudinal forces created from the high-torque motors and low center of gravity found on many BEVs. Along with providing immediate acceleration, BEVs' electric motors offer quieter operation than their internal combustion engine counterparts, making tire noise attenuation a higher priority. The P Zero All Season Plus Elect leverages the Pirelli Noise Cancelling System (PNCS), which utilizes a layer of sound-absorbing foam adhered to the inner liner of the tire. The PNCS is designed to reduce cavity and airborne sounds, helping lower cabin noise. The Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus Elect also aims to offer improved levels of wet and winter weather traction that fall in line with the tire's more traction-focused, non-BEV specific counterparts.
Internal construction of the P Zero All Season Plus Elect features twin steel belts and a reinforced, two-ply polyester casing engineered to manage BEVs' higher axle loads while maximizing comfort. Two polyamide reinforcement plies are included to maintain predictable handling and high-speed stability while helping promote even tread wear.

...Quiet, smooth, comfortable, with remarkable wet traction. These tires paid for themselves the first time I had to make a quick move at 75mph on a rain-slicked highway thousands of mile from home...
We were planning a 3500 mile cross country drive and I knew I wasn't going to be safe with the bowling balls my car came with (I bought it used, these were not original equipment tires but budget-minded replacements). I went with the Pirellis based on Tire Rack's review and I am very pleased. Quiet, smooth, comfortable, with remarkable wet traction. These tires paid for themselves the first time I had to make a quick move at 75mph on a rain-slicked highway thousands of mile from home. To say I highly recommend these tires is an understatement.
Downside: Snow performance is so-so. But then I expected that; anyone buying ultra performance all-seasons needs to realize that the tires can't do it all! My car is AWD and has a "snow" setting, and I've been able to get around on snow-covered roads, but these should not be mistaken for winter tires. (I'll spare the gentle reader my rant on people who *rely* on all-season tires when they *have to* travel in winter.)
Other downside might be tire wear but I don't have enough miles yet to make a call on that. Also my MPGs dropped noticeably, but that happens with brand new tires; as the tires gain miles I'm gaining some of the MPGs back too. I doubt it'll ever match what I was getting with the old bowling balls but then these tires actually have traction so it's a fair trade.

These P Zero All Season Plus 275/40R20 tires replaced a set of Goodyear RSA2 245/45R20 tires. These tires are fantastic! They ride a little less harsh than the OEM tires and are more quiet. I haven't noticed any change in gas mileage. The dry grip is about the same, except it's a little better when cornering. The wet grip is MUCH improved. They also look way cooler with the added width. There is no rub even with the wheels turned to either extreme. I am extremely happy with these tires!

On my third set of these tires. They are fantastic. Grip like crazy in the wet or dry, and work really well in the snow, too. An all season, ultra high performance tire does exist.

...Immediately noticed big difference on ice and light snow...
Fantastic tires! Replaced Original tires, amd what a difference. Immediately noticed big difference on ice and light snow. As the days got warmer, the dry traction felt way more confident. In the short time that I have owned these tires, we have had dry, wet, puddles, ice and snow. What a season so far!! All I can say, is thank --- I upgraded to these Pirelli's.

...They have done well even when there is snow/slush and when the temps drop. I make the compromise to not use a snow tire in the winter since we don't have to deal with snow more than a dozen times a winter (and last 2 years even less) and these tires are fine...
I live on Long Island, NY and have a 30 mile commute to work along mostly highways. The rest of the time I'm using my daily driver around town for errands. I also take some longer trips into upper New York state to visit family or get away for the weekend. I've put 40,000 miles on these tires in 2.5 years. Weather in this part of NY is mild but variable most of the year because we are buffered by the sound to the north; we get up into the high 80's in the summer, and down into the teens in the winter. We see some snow storms in winter (though it isn't anywhere near as bad as upstate NY), and they are good about plowing/salting the roads when a storm comes through. These tires have been great for my car and my style of driving! I have a sport hatch, and when I'm not slogging through traffic to work I enjoy the way these tires really make the car a driver's car. They provide great comfort and low road noise, while also with being sporty for a daily driver. They are quick, with very high levels of feedback and inspire confidence. They have done well even when there is snow/slush and the temps drop. I make the compromise to not use a snow tire in the winter since we don't have to deal with snow more than a dozen times a winter (and last 2 years even less) and these tires are fine. I do wish they could soak up the potholes as well as the Continental DWS 06 tires do, but those are just a touch softer tires that are more comfort and aren't really as sporty as these. All in all, I like these and will get them again over the DWS 06.

Customers overwhelmingly praise the Pirelli's dry traction, with most scoring 9s and 10s. High marks highlight excellent grip and responsive handling in dry conditions, aligning perfectly with its Ultra High Performance All-Season design. A few 7-8 scores suggest minor variability, but overall performance remains strong for intended use.

...The Pirelli's have added a confidence and capability to this car that it has never shown before! I look forward to my drive home and have started trying different routes to find one that is more driver engaging...
I recently purchased a set of Pirreli PZero All Season Plus tires for my 2013 Ford C-Max Energi hybrid. My commute to work and home is roughly 14 miles a day. These tires have transformed the entire driving experience in this type of car. The original Michelin tires were good but due to the LRE were not very entertaining. They were a "B-" with dry, wet & light snow. Nothing to complain about and nothing to exclaim! The second set of tires were cheap Goodyear LRE tires "recommended" for hybrid vehicles and these tires were the things of your worst nightmare. Thankfully they only lasted about 35,000 miles (worn to nylon...). Dry - they squealed and protested anything over 5/10th and the car was a skater in the wet and light snow - best to stay home!I The Pirelli's have added a confidence and capability to this car that it has never shown before! I look forward to my drive home and have started trying different routes to find one that is more driver engaging. Most importantly these tires are quiet! Earlier this week while driving to work in electric mode, a bicyclist did not hear me until I was about 15 feet away from him (no worries! I was driving slow. He & his bike ok!). Hybrids (Prius, Volt, etc.) are not known for driving prowess! These tires will completely change your driving experience! The only con so far is I've lost about 1 mile on pure electric range. Small price to pay for the new found joy of the drive. If you drive a Hybrid this is the best compromise you will ever make and I promise you will not be disappointed!

...The handling is great, I don't think you would ever need a more aggressive tire for this model BMW. I don't track my car but going over the pass through the twisties is a whole lot of fun, very solid and predictable handling...
I commute on the weekends, 2/3 of my drive is on highway mountain pass roads with a lot of nice sweeping curves. Then I hit the freeway for an hour or so. During the week I drive in town on roads that aren't maintained that well. I have a separate set of winter tires/wheels so these don't see the snow/ice, but I have been through a couple of downpours and they seemed to do well in the rain, felt safe.
I picked up a bolt in the sidewall of one of the stock Contenental run-flat tires so I bought a new set of shoes. Decided to ditch the run-flats. I Originally purchased Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus tires based on the tire stores recommendation, which I returned after about 4k miles. Not a bad tire, I just don't think a non-run-flat "H" rated tire works well with this car if you drive even a little aggressively. I went back to the store and found a more knowledgeable sales rep, he schooled me a bit on tire construction (cap plies, tread patterns, rubber composition, etc.) and I ended up special ordering a Pirelli model that was just released - the Pirelli P-Zero All Season Plus (not the Nero). The "W" rated P-zero tire has a stiffer sidewall than the "H" rated Cinturato - it is the tire I was looking for.
The P-Zero is surprisingly quiet and smooths out the potholes better than the stock run-flats. The handling is great, I don't think you would ever need a more aggressive tire for this model BMW. I don't track my car but going over the pass through the twisties is a whole lot of fun, very solid and predictable handling. The semi-stiff,controlled ride the Cinturato took away is back. I have put 15k on them and they are holding up well with an even tread wear. Great tire for this particular car
If you are uncertain the tire will be right for you make sure you go for this "Plus" version which offers a no-risk trial period.

...These tires ride very comfortably, are much quieter than the Yokohamas, and handle excellently in dry and wet... I can even tell how much more securely these handle when taking the curves at on/off-ramps...
I own a 2003 Maxima SE with almost 158,000 miles and this is my 4th set of tires. The original OEM tires, Bridgestone RE92s were quiet, comfortable and handled well in the dry, but I found after a few rains that they hydroplaned badly, even after only about 20,000 miles. Despite having many miles left on the tread, I had to replace them for fear of having an accident. My second set was Michelin Pilot Sport AS. They had superb handling in the corners, both dry and wet, and I managed to get about 60,000 miles out of them, but they were rather firm, which was an acceptable trade-off from the hydroplaning of the Bridgestones. But as they got older, they also got firmer, to the point of being almost like riding on rock tires. My 3rd set were Yokohama YK580s, sold by Discount Tire. Those had a more comfortable ride than the Michelins, had good dry and wet braking and handling, but overall handling wasn't as good as the Michelins. At a little over 55K miles and 4 years on them, they were nearing the end of their treadlife, were more firm than when new, and were significantly louder. It was time for a new set. After reading many of the reviews and watching the test video on Tire Rack, I decided to go with the Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus. While a "W" rated tire is a little overkill for this car, the ratings sold me. And I am totally happy with these. I've only driven 281 miles on them so far, mostly city, a little highway, and have had a chance to test them in the rain. These tires ride very comfortably, are much quieter than the Yokohamas, and handle excellently in both dry and wet. With the Yokohamas, I had to be careful not to spin the tires from a stop on a wet road. The Pirellis have terrific grip; I'm able to safely accelerate from a stop with no wheel-spin. I can even tell how much more securely these handle when taking the curves at on/off-ramps. I hope that these will continue to perform as well way as they get older. Time and miles will tell.

...They are easily the quietest tire I ever owned, much better then the Michelins and Contis formerly on this car. Wind noise and engine noise are now the main contributors to overall noise, when it used to be road noise...
Pirelli got it right with this one. I had thought that my Michelin Pilot Super Sports were the best for my car and was about to order Michelins again until I read the Tire Rack pros review of June 10, 2016. These Pirellis got their best overall rating by a slight margin. PLEASE NOTE: Their review and mine refer only to the new Revised Compound version of these tires. They are easily the quietest tire I ever owned, much better then the Michelins and Contis formerly on this car. Wind noise and engine noise are now the main contributors to overall noise, when it used to be road noise. Their wet and dry traction are excellent for my style of driving--very grippy. I have not yet seen any snow. No thin 245/45 tire is cushy, but this one is more comfortable than the Michelins by a clear margin. Highly recommended. I hope all these good features last as the tires wear.

...After 1500 miles, I'm thrilled with the performance, ride comfort and handling...
I bought these Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus tires to replace the OEM Michelin Pilot Sport summer tires that had reached the end of their tread life. My 2009 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro has the 18" Sports Package, which includes a sport-tuned suspension and summer tires. I wanted to go to an all season ultra high performance tire with longer tread life. These Pirellis fit the bill perfectly on paper. After 1500 miles, I'm thrilled with the performance, ride comfort and handling. And I don't perceive any drop in performance from the Michelins. Thanks Tire Rack!

...I only drive 10,000 miles per year so I will have to check on treadwear.
I'm really enjoying these Perelli's as I had them on my last Audi A6. It was an immediate improvement in comfort, cornering and dry traction. I originally had Goodyear runflat all season radials on the car and they rode very hard to the point where I was getting ready to get rid of the car until I put these new tires on. I only drive 10,000 miles per year so I will have to check on treadwear.

I feel they last long and the noise level as they wear does not get out of control...
I have over 300,000 miles on this car and have used Pirelli P Zero's almost exclusively. As the tires get worn I do switch to just snow tires for the northeast Ohio winters but if the tires are new I leave them on for the winter as they work great in the snow. I feel they last long and the noise level as they wear does not get out of control. Great tires!

...8/32 tread remaining, so they should give adequate life. (The first thirty-second or two go very quickly, so 8/10 at 9k is not alarming.)...
Replaced Pirelli Nero OE. Purchased car used, so I can't make a new vs. new comparison. Nonetheless, these are outstanding tires for my type of driving in this car. 8/32" tread remaining, so they should give adequate life. (The first thirty-second or two go very quickly, so 8/10 at 9k is not alarming.)
They required very little balancing weight for such large tires. Great installation by recommended installer Neubauer in Ellicott City, MD.
Tires are very quiet, yet provide great wet and dry traction. They do not "hunt" within Interstate lanes. Precise steering without being twitchy. My only complaint is not the tire's fault; front and rear are different sizes. At least I can rotate L/R with this tread pattern.
This car is not driven in icy or snowy conditions, so no ratings there, but 10/10 in every other category.
