The Potenza Sport AS is Bridgestone's Ultra High Performance All-Season tire engineered for drivers of sportscars, coupes and performance sedans looking for high-speed potential and predictable handling in dry and wet conditions combined with confident performance throughout the year, even in light snow.
Bridgestone's Potenza Sport AS molds a new all-season compound into an asymmetric tread pattern for improved performance in a myriad of weather conditions while still aiming to improve on the ride quality drivers expect. The solid circumferential rib design enhances handling through continuous contact with the road surface, while reducing distracting pattern noise for smooth, quiet rides in sunny weather. In wet conditions, the Potenza Sport AS was designed with channels aligned to the shoulder blocks to provide efficient water evacuation from the contact patch to maintain control and resist hydroplaning. The Full-Depth 3-D Sipes molded into each tread block significantly enhance block rigidity over traditional sipes for optimal handling while still providing the grip and biting edges necessary for navigation in wet and light snow conditions.
Internally, the Potenza Sport AS is constructed of dual polyester body plies extended into a high turn-up sidewall for additional strength to balance handling response and ride comfort. Twin steel belts are reinforced by a spirally wound, nylon wrap for high-speed capability.

Incredibly better than the OEM tires from Michelin. Before, I didn't have any wet grip due to the high torque in rear-wheel drive. These tires work so much better. Particularly, when the ground is wet or during rain. Confidence inspiring.

Bought these over the Continental's. Couldn't be happier. Awesome all season tire. Made it through a few inches of snow and had no issues with the tires. Great on dry and wet. Lets see how long they last.

...While these tires were nearly new when I drove down these snow/ice covered roads they did an excellent job. I was able to keep going, even after meeting oncoming traffic and have to move out of the two tire tracks and navigate the 6-8 inch deep snow/ice...
I recently had to travel to Kansas City from southwest FL during all the recent snow/ice that covered much of the east united states. I got to drive on 10 -12 miles of two lane roads in MS, no thanks to Google Maps, which had not been snow plowed so all you see are two tire tracks in the middle of the road. While these tires were nearly new when I drove down these snow/ice covered roads they did an excellent job. I was able to keep going, even after meeting oncoming traffic and have to move out of the two tire tracks and navigate the 6-8 inch deep snow/ice. I can't say enough, these tires got me through, even when temporarily stuck after moving over for oncoming traffic, I just backed up a bit and moved forward best I could to free myself. The tires are rock stable are highway speeds, quiet and wet/dry traction are as advertised. You won't be disappointed.

I also wanted to give a big thumbs up tp Pirelli for making this tire, at least while its fairly new, a very capable snow and ice tire. I love this tire for dry/wet roads and spirited driving, very secure. I also wanted to give a big thumbs up tp Pirelli for making this tire, at least while its fairly new, a very capable snow and ice tire. I drove from FL to KCMO and got caught west of Tupelo, MS, a bit over an hour on I-22 on Jan 29, 2026. The MS FOT closed I-22 on us travelers for over six hours due to ice/snow ahead to the west and their ability to remove it for safe travels. Once moving, google maps put me on two lane roads which had not been plowed, just tire tracks. The Jette was scraping the snow/ice between the tire tracks as I drove, at times I had to move over in the 6-8 inches of snow/ice. These Pirelli kept me going for 10-12 miles and I finally got back on plowed roads, thank you!! While these tires are not rated snow, they got me through a very tough spot when I needed it. I also jetted some rather high speeds once on cleared roads, these tires were very stable there too. A great all around tire for me!

Surprised at how well tires delivered traction on snow plowed icy roads, not super but better than I had thought...
Surprised at how well tires delivered traction on snow plowed icy roads, not super but better than I had thought. Quiet on asphalt, hissing on concrete. Waiting for above freezing weather to wring out this rubber.
Customers overwhelmingly rate the Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3's dry traction as excellent, with most scores 9-10. High marks highlight responsive handling and reliable grip, delivering outstanding performance expected from an Ultra High Performance All-Season tire. A few 7-8s suggest minor variability, but satisfaction remains strong.

...Very smooth comfortable ride. Dampens road imperfections really well. Perhaps the quietest performance tire I have experienced...
Pro’s: excellent steering response. Crisp, light handling with minimal understeer. Very smooth comfortable ride. Dampens road imperfections really well. Perhaps the quietest performance tire I have experienced.
Cons: unfortunately, grip in the dry, wet is at best average. The handling characteristics make you believe the tire is more capable than it really is.
For comparison, the previous tires I had were the Continental Extreme Contact DWS. The grip of the DWS is superior in all categories - dry, wet, slush, snow etc. But handling, noise and ride quality is better with the Perelli’s.
Side note: the Perelli’s were tough to balance. Took a few tries using road force equipment. Also, in the brief time I’ve had them, I’ve had two flats from damaged side walls. Boston roads, but never had so many flats before in so short a time.

...These still feel confident after 23,000 miles plus I still have plenty of thread life left.
I noticed the tires produced a little more noise as the milage increased on them. (the original continetals slid in the rain at 20,000 miles.) These still feel confident after 23,000 miles plus I still have plenty of thread life left.
