The P Zero AS Plus 3 writes another exciting chapter in the story of Ultra High Performance All-Season tires, continuing Pirelli's popular P Zero line. Channeling the spirit of their Formula 1 heritage and developed for the enthusiast drivers of sports cars, coupes and luxury sedans to deliver the performance they expect all year without having to worry about swapping out their tires from season-to-season. Dry, rain, or even light snow, the P Zero AS Plus 3 was designed for all of it.
Following up on the success of its predecessor, the P Zero AS Plus 3 introduces new polymer blend technology from Pirelli aimed to target improvement across all categories. This next-generation compound is built on its forerunners' strengths for higher levels of traction and longer mileage, thanks to stiffer material compounds and an optimized footprint.
The carefully engineered, asymmetric tread pattern features minimized void space for maximum contact with the road surface, increasing overall grip and improving wear characteristics. Larger, pitch-sequenced shoulder blocks improve dry handling while minimizing tread noise; the freshly optimized pattern features a larger footprint for even wear and enhanced cornering performance. Grooves and channels are integrated into the tread, designed to work in unison for predictable wet performance and hydroplaning resistance. The P Zero AS Plus 3 employs a variety of sipes focused on retaining traction in slippery winter weather with increased biting edges while maintaining reliable clear road handling characteristics. Additional 3D siping built into select tread blocks delivers further stability in all weather conditions.
The tire's internal structure features a polyester body with twin steel belts for increased responsiveness to driver input, while two polyamide reinforcement plies offer the reinforcement needed to maintain predictable handling and durability at high speed.

...I got half that with Michelin Pilot Cup tires and the Pirellis were not only stickier, but they did not hydroplane at 75 mph in a rain storm while the Michelins would not do better than 50 in the same conditions...
Although I use my GT3 as a daily driver, I also autocross it and do several track days [er year. As is typical with a 911 Porsche, you can go through two sets of rear tires per one set of fronts. I just changed my rears out at 7000 miles and can only say that that is phenomenal. I got half that with Michelin Pilot Cup tires and the Pirellis were not only stickier, but they did not hydroplane at 75 mph in a rain storm while the Michelins would not do better than 50 in the same conditions. My track times were quicker and I was alwaays comfortable wit hthe cornering proess.

Replaced my OEM Michelins after 2,000 street miles and 1 track day. Pirellis on front and rear with 3,000 miles plus 6 Track days at VIR and Watkins Glen. Very good grip in dry (maybe just a notch below Michelins) but very good in rain, including 6 sessions in the wet at the Glen. Also wearing much better than the Michelins. I've never been a big Pirelli fan but so far I would definitely recommend these tires over the Sport Cups.
Both my '07 and '10 GT3 came fitted with the Pirelli Corsa System tires, initially I was dissapointed that they were not fitted with the Michelin MPSC+, however for wet weather driving the Corsa is superior in its grip, ability to clear water, and to avoid aquaplaning than the Michelin

Overall, if you plan to drive your 911 in the wet, I believe the Pirelli is a better choice than the Michelin...
if you only drive in the dry, and on the track the Michelin is a better extreme dry tire...

...It really puts the power to the ground, has excellent steering response with an exceptional ride...
The Pirelli P Zero Corsa came as standard equipment on my Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. I was skeptical about the tire life being a 60 wear rated tire, but to my surprise, it appears like they may last about 12-14k miles, which is excellent for a streetable track tire. I have been blown away by the overall performance of the tire. It really puts the power to the ground, has excellent steering response with an exceptional ride. They have totally surpassed my expectations and definitely a re-purchase candidate for my next replacement set. My last good set of tires were the Michelin Pilot Super Sport on my 2015 M3, and I have to say, the Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires are much better handling, better riding, and even quieter than the Michelins. I¿m also surprised to see that I will be getting a full 70% of the life of Michelins with the Pirellis despite an anticipated much much shorter estimated tread life (60 vs 280). The key to me is not how long the tire meanders along over a slightly longer life so much as how well it performs during it¿s actual useable life. The Pirelli is significantly better than the Michelin in pretty much every regard despite lasting for a shorter timeframe, but that is to be expected for an ultra high performance streetable track tire. If you are seeking the best performing tire over a few extra miles of treadwear for your high performance car, definitely consider the Pirelli P Zero Corsa.

These P Zero Corsa tires are unlike any tire I have had before in road adhesion, steering stability and inspiring a general feeling of confidence. For some background, I drive a '05 M3 with Bilstein PSS9 coilovers and CSL anti-roll bars. I run 255/35/19 s up front and 285/30/19 s in the rear at 36 psi all around. The first time high speed corner, my M3 almost telepathically steered itself into the sweeper, and what's more unusual, I feel like I can now place the front end of my car at any (preferably late) apex point. The front end now feels darty, but in a good way. For comparison, the car has been fitted with Michelin PS2 tires and Conti 5P, which are well regarded, and Goodyear Gen 1 Asymmetrics, where they won EVO Magazines tire test, and none of these tires compare to these Corsa tires. These tires just hang on and add a higher degree of road holding than I am used to. If anyone is looking for a super-stick tire, this is the one.

...I have 14 30 min sessions on these tires along with 30+ autocross runs and over 5k of street mileage, unbelieveable! By far one of the best tires if money wasn't an issue, they can do it all.
Came as factory tire on my car and I couldn't be happier. I have 14 30 min sessions on these tires along with 30+ autocross runs and over 5k of street mileage, unbelieveable! By far one of the best tires if money wasn't an issue, they can do it all. Have already purchased a second set and will run again in this years track season.

...These tires have excellent traction and held up exceptionally well to wear. I put 6,000 miles on them and you could not even tell they have worn at all...
Don be fooled by the "comp" rating or "wear" rating. I put these on OEM Z06 wheels (10.5") width and they fit fine and put the rubber right to the edge of the wheel well without sticking out. These tires have excellent traction and held up exceptionally well to wear. I put 6,000 miles on them and you could not even tell they have worn at all. Would recomend to spririted drivers.

...As long as youve got some camber the wear is very good, even on a 3250-lb (+ driver) car--I give it a treadwear rating of 10 but only for track use...
These tires were used during a track event on an M3 Turbo. The car won the overall event with these tires on it and I must say that for the narrow size I was using they were pretty impressive. As long as youve got some camber the wear is very good, even on a 3250-lb (+ driver) car--I give it a treadwear rating of 10 but only for track use.
All miles were track driven and including road course, braking, slalom and quartermile. Grip is tremendous for a tire that can be driven on the street with ease.
