The P Zero AS Plus 3 writes another exciting chapter in the story of Ultra High Performance All-Season tires, continuing Pirelli's popular P Zero line. Channeling the spirit of their Formula 1 heritage and developed for the enthusiast drivers of sports cars, coupes and luxury sedans to deliver the performance they expect all year without having to worry about swapping out their tires from season-to-season. Dry, rain, or even light snow, the P Zero AS Plus 3 was designed for all of it.
Following up on the success of its predecessor, the P Zero AS Plus 3 introduces new polymer blend technology from Pirelli aimed to target improvement across all categories. This next-generation compound is built on its forerunners' strengths for higher levels of traction and longer mileage, thanks to stiffer material compounds and an optimized footprint.
The carefully engineered, asymmetric tread pattern features minimized void space for maximum contact with the road surface, increasing overall grip and improving wear characteristics. Larger, pitch-sequenced shoulder blocks improve dry handling while minimizing tread noise; the freshly optimized pattern features a larger footprint for even wear and enhanced cornering performance. Grooves and channels are integrated into the tread, designed to work in unison for predictable wet performance and hydroplaning resistance. The P Zero AS Plus 3 employs a variety of sipes focused on retaining traction in slippery winter weather with increased biting edges while maintaining reliable clear road handling characteristics. Additional 3D siping built into select tread blocks delivers further stability in all weather conditions.
The tire's internal structure features a polyester body with twin steel belts for increased responsiveness to driver input, while two polyamide reinforcement plies offer the reinforcement needed to maintain predictable handling and durability at high speed.

...I feel very confident with ample traction on wet and dry pavement, both cornering and braking...
My experience with this tire is very limited though I do have some thoughts. Compared with the previous tires the ride seems smoother with no noise. I feel very confident with ample traction on wet and dry pavement, both cornering and braking. I couldn't rate any tire better than this.

...I think these tires edge out the Continentals Extremecontacts DWS in dry and wet performance and all around comfort, making them an excellent choice for year round cars that don't see snow...
These are some of the best tires I have ever bought. Definitely up there in my top 3. For an Ultra High Performance tire they are comfortable and quiet. They are firm over bumps and road impacts, but never harsh. They make my Maserati Quattroporte corner like it’s on rails and brings back the confidence and joy to the driving experience that was sorely lacking with the Kumhos that came on the car. I think these tires just edge out the Continentals Extremecontacts DWS in dry and wet performance and all around comfort, making them an excellent choice for year round cars that don’t see snow. I do think the Continentals are a better all weather tire and the choice for those who need to drive in the snow. Overall, I am so happy to have these tires on my car. They feel sophisticated, handle great, and are a perfect companion for a high end or high performance vehicle with little trade off. I would say their comfort even borderlines or exceeds Grand Touring tires and the driving performance in on par if not best in class.

...Not driven on snow but rated very well for snow...
I absolutely love these tires. My car feels like a brand-new car again, actually better than when new. Tires are so quiet. Driving feels nimble and tight. Superior ride in every way. Not driven on snow but rated very well for snow. I am sure they will exceed my expectations. Watch the Tire Rack video on these tires compared to 9 other tires. You wont be disappointed in these tires.

I quickly observed increased responsiveness to steering input and cornering... Dry traction is excellent.
I have not driven enough miles to judge all of the characters of the tire, however, I quickly observed increased responsiveness to steering input and cornering. The comfort and quietness are excellent. Dry traction is excellent.

I got these in a 265/35-18 square setup for my back canyon focused WRX on KW coilovers. I was a bit concerned about compromising with an all season tread but since I am Colorado, you can easily get caught out with surprise weather like snow, ice, for cold temps. These have been nothing short of fantastic in all conditions! Dry traction/grip is endless, and confidence in heavy rain is also really good. I recommend these to everyone. I was also pleasantly surprised how little road noise they have. Only 7k miles so far, but wearing very little even with some aggressive mountain driving and frequent tire rotations.
PS- I have not ran them in snow as I have a dedicated winter wheel with Blizzaks, BUT I suspect they would still fine in light snow.

...Dry grip levels are impressive, so much so that I can maintain my pace with the same levels of cornering confidence. Turn in requires a few degrees more input, which is to be expected with an UHP All Season, but I find it easy to adapt...
This is an impressive tire, especially since I'm coming from Michelin PS4S's. I live on mountain roads and drive spiritedly. Dry grip levels are impressive, so much so that I can maintain my pace with the same levels of cornering confidence. Turn in requires a few degrees more input, which is to be expected with an UHP All Season, but I find it easy to adapt. These tires are noticeably more quiet and comfortable regardless of road surface. The most surprising upside is that they still offer plenty of road texture and feel. They definitely drive and feel like a sport tire should. On the freeway they have a 'magic carpet ride' feel that I find way less fatiguing and now I look forward to taking longer trips in this car. They are sensitive to tire pressure and required 3lbs less than the PS4S. Pro-tip: If they feel slippery under foot when cold or on very hot days, drop the pressures and they will come into focus. All my fears of dropping down to a UHP AS tire were unfounded. I saved a bunch of money and got quite a few benefits with almost no trade off. Well done, Pirelli.

I’ve been very pleased with the ride quality—quiet and comfortable, just as I hoped. What really stood out was the tire's performance in wet conditions. Handling felt confident and precise, even at varying speeds and during turns, which added a great sense of security.
For context, my vehicle originally came with Dunlop PT20s from the factory, and I found them to be extremely underwhelming—harsh ride, poor grip, and generally unsafe. I removed them shortly after purchase and haven’t looked back.
These new tires have been a significant upgrade in every way. I would absolutely recommend them and plan to buy them again in the future.

...The ride is smooth. Driving the same roads feels completely different. I don't feel every bump or dip when driving...
Recently had a set of these installed. I previously had a set of Goodyear Eagle tires. The ride on the Goodyear was so rough and you could feel every bump in the road with this tire size (235/25r19). I was considering going with a slightly larger tire to gain some sidewall to help with the ride comfort. I went back with the same size in these Pirelli tires and the difference is night and day. The ride is smooth. Driving the same roads feels completely different. I don't feel every bump or dip when driving. Very satisfied so far with these tires.

The best UHP A/S EV tires out there, exceptional handling characteristics and really confidence inspiring in wet/snow conditions. Treadwear has exceeded expectations as well.
Not as quiet as I’d hope but still nicer than the OEM options for my car, that’s an EV problem though.

...The tread life is twice as good as the OEM. I like to change my tires at 5/32" tread wear, never go past 4/32"...
I have two 2021 Model 3 AWD LR Tesla's and have gone through 3 complete sets of the PIRELLI P ZERO AS PLUS 3 NCS ELECT 235 /45 R18 98Y XL BSW. They are very good tires...much better than the OEM Michelin MXM4 235/45/R18 that came on the cars. The Michelin's handled well, but wore quickly and end of life was around 23,000.
The Pirelli's drive very smooth and are quiet due to the foam. The tread life is twice as good as the OEM. I like to change my tires at 5/32" tread wear, never go past 4/32". I also have my own tire machine (Corghi Master) and Hunter Roadforce balancer GPS9700. I find the Pirelli's need to be road forced if you expect to have a very smooth ride. I have had some of the tires measure up to 46 lb of RF, which I was able to reduce to less than 15 lbs. I always aim for below 10 lb, but settle for 15 and lower. The Tesla's are very sensitive to RF.
Overall, I am very happy with these tires. The last set I purchased (from Discount Tires) was the newer NCS ones, which supposedly provides an even quieter ride and longer tread life. I will see when I get them on. Future plans are to purchase through Tire Rack simply for the ease of having the tires delivered to me and their prices are great!
