The P Zero AS Plus 3 writes another exciting chapter in the story of Ultra High Performance All-Season tires, continuing Pirelli's popular P Zero line. Channeling the spirit of their Formula 1 heritage and developed for the enthusiast drivers of sports cars, coupes and luxury sedans to deliver the performance they expect all year without having to worry about swapping out their tires from season-to-season. Dry, rain, or even light snow, the P Zero AS Plus 3 was designed for all of it.
Following up on the success of its predecessor, the P Zero AS Plus 3 introduces new polymer blend technology from Pirelli aimed to target improvement across all categories. This next-generation compound is built on its forerunners' strengths for higher levels of traction and longer mileage, thanks to stiffer material compounds and an optimized footprint.
The carefully engineered, asymmetric tread pattern features minimized void space for maximum contact with the road surface, increasing overall grip and improving wear characteristics. Larger, pitch-sequenced shoulder blocks improve dry handling while minimizing tread noise; the freshly optimized pattern features a larger footprint for even wear and enhanced cornering performance. Grooves and channels are integrated into the tread, designed to work in unison for predictable wet performance and hydroplaning resistance. The P Zero AS Plus 3 employs a variety of sipes focused on retaining traction in slippery winter weather with increased biting edges while maintaining reliable clear road handling characteristics. Additional 3D siping built into select tread blocks delivers further stability in all weather conditions.
The tire's internal structure features a polyester body with twin steel belts for increased responsiveness to driver input, while two polyamide reinforcement plies offer the reinforcement needed to maintain predictable handling and durability at high speed.

Tire are so much better than my previous set which was Dunlop SP SPORT 5000 SYMMETRICAL. These are better in every way but most notable is the hydroplane resistance and wet traction. Tires feel super grippy and stable even in the rain. I will be sticking with these tires from now on.

These are the best tires I've ever ridden on. Instant wet and dry grip that I've tried and failed to lose traction with. Went a bit wider than stock and this combination makes for an a excellent ride. Can get some slight road noise barely noticable. Will buy again

...Some highway down pours of rain seen... they have handled it all...
So far exceeding my expectations. Took off pilot sport as+3 and these Pzero are much more impressive on this car. Went a bit bigger 245 vs 225 that had some to do with it. But they are a more comfortable tire as well. No loss of MPG. Only have around 1500 miles on them so far just put 600 miles on them in the last 2 days. Some highway down pours of rain seen. Some sunny and dry and some low 30 degree weather they have handled it all. I’m glad I chose these at this point. All bets are off if they only last 20k miles. That is to be determined

...Braking on ice went surprisingly well considering there's no good options on a low friction surface. I slid less on ice than a large number of Subaru and Ford's in my area. I never slid through a stop or off the road during any slick road conditions...
I used to get the Continental Extreme Contact because I deal with snowy and icy winter driving. Those tires were great in bad weather, but these tires handle so much better. A year in and they are still quiet and smooth on country roads where pavement is touch and go. These tires have gone on two cross continental road trips. Mountain driving never gave me any issues even with some 14% grades in Canada. Staying in my lane on switch backs was never a concern with ample traction during ascent and descent. Gravel roads had minimal spinning from complete stops. So far I haven't had any issues with tread wear or air pressure. I haven't had as many rocks get stuck in my tread as I used to which doesn't make much sense to me, but I haven't noticed anything gouging into them. I've noticed less reliance on my ABS for freeway driving when coming to a stop. Sudden stops for stoplights or accident avoidance have been more mechanical performance than tire limitations, so they match my cars performance capacity very well. Braking on ice went surprisingly well considering there's no good options on a low friction surface. I slid less on ice than a large number of Subaru and Ford's in my area. I never slid through a stop or off the road during any slick road conditions. In a heavy snow pack, I would catch and couple inch drift when coming to a complete stop but those road conditions were a first for me with January's ice/snow storms. I haven't noticed a difference in fuel efficiency, so they aren't weighing me down any more than my previous tires. The couple times I hydroplaned lasted maybe a second at highway speeds, and I've had no issues with city driving.

...Compared to the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, these tires feel better during curves, wet conditions and during spirited drives...
After going through two sets of Michelin tires in under 20,000 miles, I knew I wanted a change. It was a hard choice as my friends and family have always gone for Michelin tires but I did not have a good experience with them. After hours of research, I landed on these Pirelli tires. These have been a game changer for me. Compared to the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, these tires feel better during curves, wet conditions and during spirited drives. I would highly recommend giving these try. These Pirelli tires have been the best set of tires I have tried on any vehicle. If you’re reading this review, this is your sign to get these tires.

These Pirelli's have given the Sport 2.0T a significant boost in straight line traction and cornering prowess... The best curvy roads and cloverleafs reveal Honda's engineering excellence and generate lots of smiles...
These replaced the OE Michelin MXM4 tires that lasted less than 30,000 miles. The car was fun to drive with the OE tires, but the harsh ride and excessive noise levels grew old. These Pirelli's have given the Sport 2.0T a significant boost in straight line traction and cornering prowess, profoundly improved ride quality, and made the car interior notably more serene at cruising speeds. Haven't had snow or rain to drive in yet. Speed builds effortlessly and quietly now. The best curvy roads and cloverleafs reveal Honda's engineering excellence and generate lots of smiles. Gas mileage is down about 5%, and that's okay because I love the car and its performance more than ever. These Pirelli's make the Accord Sport 2.0T feel and perform like a more expensive sport sedan... without the punishing ride.

...They are really not confidence inspiring on the highway, I feel like I am floating all over the place instead of being planted. I realize comparing these to the MP4S isn't really fair but I didn't expect these to feel like ice skates. They are really not confidence inspiring on the highway, I feel like I am floating all over the place instead of being planted. I am not expecting 1st gear full acceleration traction but I definitely wouldn't say these meet expectations on a partial throttle 3rd gear merge getting on the highway. I realize these are an inexpensive tire but I was hoping they would feel less so after watching the reviews that suggested the dry traction was class leading.
Customers overwhelmingly rate the Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3's comfort as excellent, with most scoring 9s and 10s for ride quality and noise levels. High marks highlight refined handling and a smooth, quiet driving experience expected from ultra-high-performance all-season tires.

...The tires perform as well as Summer Performance tires, but are far more comfortable on the lousy road surfaces that most states seem to have these days...
My Audi S3 came with 19" Goodyear, Summer Performance tires. I had a blowout from a pothole in my first 80 miles. I bought the 18" Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 to get a very good performing all-season tire with a softer ride and good reviews. I couldn't be happier with the Pirellis. The tires perform as well as Summer Performance tires from a few years ago, but are far more comfortable on the lousy road surfaces that most states seem to have these days. By the way, one of my Goodyears had a bulge in the sidewall when they were removed at 4500 miles. I'd never buy them if they hadn't come new with the car.

These tires are advertised to ride smoothly and quietly, particularly in an EV. They more than live up to their claims. I previously had the Pirelli P Zero Summer tires, that had extremely strong traction and were made to take advantage of the high torque and fast acceleration of the Mustang Mach-E. They worked as advertised, but unbeknownst to me, they were relatively noisy and transferred every bump in the road to the car. The new AS tires with noise deadening properties make it seem like I have a different car. It rides much more smoothly and is infinitely quieter! I love them!!

...My experience has been that they fall well short of their wear rating and they seem to be noisy - especially as they age. Moving to the Pirelli, the difference was profound. Much quieter...
GREAT TIRE! Just made the jump from Michelin Pilot 4S. I have always used Michelin due to reputation and reviews. My experience has been that they fall well short of their wear rating and they seem to be noisy - especially as they age. Moving to the Pirelli, the difference was profound. Much quieter. Much smoother ride. A slight compromise in responsiveness vs Michelin. Likely the result of sidewall stiffness. If I were to track the car, I would prefer the Michelin but I likely wouldn't run all season tires in the first place.
The Pirellis have significantly improved ride quality and reduced cabin noise. So long as they perform as well as they do in the Tire Rack test, they I shouldn't have any issue with the performance at the limits or in poor conditions. Bonus that they cost less AND (should) last longer.
