Pirelli P7 AS Plus 3 Grand Touring All-Season Tires in 225/55R18

Smooth riding ,quiet and great traction especially on wet conditions !

Got these for my daughters car with a new set of rims to replace the very average stock rims and worn tires that came with it when we bought it used. Huge upgrade in handling and safety. Tread wear is great. Did awesome in the New England winter, even in heavy slush/slop. Handles rain no problem. Very grippy. Easy pickup at TR since I bought with the new rims and installed at home.

I put these on 2017 Volvo S90 in June 2025. Car had 110K miles. Brought the tire rack purchase to Volvo dealer for the mount/balance job, and including alignment. Car did need new control arms (for the ball joints). Car has been riding amazingly well. Replaced evenly worn Pirelli Cinturato P7 A/S+ Tires, they never seemed to roll perfectly flat, but these P7 AS Plus 3 are fantastic. Very smooth, very quiet, great driving feel and response. I do not perform 4 wheel drift on exit ramps, but I take them at speed, and the tires feel great. Great on highway and around town. Live in New Hampshire, I use snow tires in the winter, so these only see a small amount of snow in the shoulder seasons. Work fine in light snow conditions. I was thrilled on day one, and 8000 miles in, they are still running great.

After 500 miles the tires break in nicely! Very surprised by the snow traction when we received 4-7” of snow in Southeast Missouri. Will purchase again!

For traction in all conditions encountered, these are much better than the OEM Michelins. They have a positive feel, and much less tendency to slip or squeal when accelerating through corners compared to the OEM tires. My wet traction rating is mostly from not having pushed these tires in wet conditions, I have never had a problem, but I have also not pushed them, so I don't really know. Being better than the Michelins however is not hard. The OEM tires were very noisy and slippery when accelerating even mildly in tight corners (yes, the Bolt is front wheel drive which makes this worse too). These Pirelli are much better, but I still get chirps just merging from my cul-de-sac onto the main road. In dry conditions these feel tight and responsive. On-ramps and mountain roads with these Pirellis are definitely more fun than the OEM tires. The downside is the loss of range. Typical range for the OEM tires was 4.2 mi/KWh, but with the Pirelli it dropped to 3.5 to 3.8 mi/KWh. Reviews I read before purchase indicated a lesser loss of range, but maybe the better handling has inspired me to push the car a bit harder...

Only 250 mi or so on these so far, but they''re pretty good for a grand touring tire. On the sportier side of grand touring -- but NOT a high performance tire. They are, however, a good middle ground if you''re looking to make your sporty daily a little more tame for the normal grind. They have more grip than you would think for the category, especially for turning and maneuvering. Steering response is good. Forward traction is just so-so but that''s expected for the category. Not the quietest tire you can have but definitely not the loudest. A good middle ground of noises and tones with not much standing out except for some narrow speed bands. Especially quiet on the highway, so no concerns putting miles on these. Ride quality is again middle of the road -- not too soft, not too hard. A nice balance.

Good price, tire quality good, smooth, quiet, good handling on dry and wet roads. Cornering hugs the road well in turns.

Too new to give a thorough review but it's a quiet and comfortable ride and have already driven highway miles through heavy rain. All good.

Great set of tires at a decent price with fantastic wear. I have them on both cars, I would def get them again.

Very good bang for your buck - smooth on the road and responsive to steering input, I recall it being more forgiving on potholes than what I took off.

I know they weren't the cheapest but they certainly weren't the most expensive and they've held up well with the FWD EV demands with irregular tire rotations.

No hesitation recommending them to friends.

These tires are turning out to be fantastic, with very even treadwear and what appears to be lengthy tread life. So far they are nice and quiet, and have provided excellent ride and handling in my fat LS430 with 18" wheels. I do not drive my LS430 in snow or ice, as heavy RWD cars just stink at that, but I feel these tires would also do well on a FWD or AWD car like my Passat or A4 I had in the past. These are the first Pirellis I have had after years of other good brands such as Continental, Bridgestone, Yokohama, Dunlop, and Michelin, and Pirelli is now at the top of my list for future purchases. The P7 AS Plus 3 is most similar to the Michelin Primacy A/S I had on my Passat. Great tires make every car better, and they make excellent cars what they should always be!
