Pirelli  Scorpion AS Plus 3

I tested some other SUV tires from reputable brands and none of the had the same level of performance.
The level of stability and grip in wet is great!

I live in northern Ohio. I like having two sets of rims and tires for my Ford Explorer one for winter driving. I have about 120K miles on my car most of which have driven on Michelin Premier LTX tires which are quiet and great wet traction, but the tread life was poor. I went to click the reorder again they are no longer available. While I was driving from IL to OH on the Indiana turnpike I called Tire Rack for advice, and Charlie recommended the Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3. He said they had them in stock and they fit me in to have them installed on my way home. Allowing to show up 10 minutes late for their last appointment. Frankly, I was nervous about my purchase because I was a big fan of the Michelin tires, I was taking off. Now I can honestly say I am even a bigger fan of these new Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3 tires. If you ride quality is amazing. They are extremely quiet, and they have amazing wet traction. I can't help you with how they will do on the snow, because I will never use them during the winter season. This is my first purchase of Pirelli tires, and I must say I am impressed. Special thanks to Charlie from Tire Rack and the team doing all the tire testing to help me get the best tires to meet my needs.

I've only had these for just over 1,000 miles so take my review with a grain of salt. I can say, compared to the OEM Goodyear Grand Touring tires these are VERY comparable in ride quality, maybe a little louder but wet traction is 10x better. If I get half the miles on the warranty I'll be happy. I may revisit this in several months after winter driving, but I have a feeling I will still be pleased with them.

Great tires. My first Pirelli tires and totally satisfied. Tread wear is minimal after 30K+ miles. Excellent traction under all conditions, especially snow and ice, and much quieter than previous tires. I definitely recommend them.

This is a great tire. Quiet ride in comparison to the OEM tires. Very good wet traction. Snow traction is also good. Dry traction is excellent. I have already bought another set for my sister's Honda and she loves the tires.

I would highly recommend this tire. It has been through a full northern Michigan winter, with the start of another one. It’s winter traction and performance is equal to snow tires that I have had in the past, without sacrificing all year performance and dependability. Road noise and ride are not compromised at all during the non winter months. This is truly a great all around tire with no negatives that I have found yet.

I feel very secure driving on these tires. They have been excellent in wet weather and dry. They are the quietest tires I have ever driven on.
They look great and have a unique designed to them.
On previous tires, I had scratched my rims on sidewalks when parallel parking. These tires extend out further than the rims. Which helps to avoid accidental scratches and costly repair. I’m so happy with my purchase. I highly recommend these tires.

I don't know what kind of secret sauce that Pirelli is using with these tires, but OH MY --- are these fantastic performers. I have replaced the factory tires on my last 4 vehicles and had previously enjoyed the Cooper CS5 Grand Touring, but when I got my Murano, I found that I could not get them in my new tire size. I did extensive research and came to the conclusion that the Pirelli was the tire for me. Instantly smoother and quieter than the admittedly decent factory Bridgestones. I just rolled over 30K and they still perform like new and you can barely tell there are any miles on them at all! I have been singing the praise of these tires since day 1 and continue to be pleasantly surprised with the balanced performance in ALL conditions. I live in Minnesota and see plenty of snow and ice and I can crawl through over 12 inches of snow like it's nothing. Lateral control on ice has been nothing short of stunning, and summer/dry conditions are smooth, quiet, and controlled. Cannot recommend enough.

of all the tires i’ve had on this vehicle, the pirelli tires have provided top notch ride, comfort and quiet ride. no complaints.

Have been running Michelin Latitude Tours since new. Decided to try the new Pirelli AS tire to try and get increased wear from the set. After 15,000 miles I think they are working out pretty good. Tires came with 11/32 tread depth and currently have 9/32 across the tread on all 4 tires. They didn't balance out quite as smooth as the Michelins but are quieter and handle well in both wet and dry. I haven't had them in snow or on ice so no opinion there. The cost per mile is working out to be much lower than the MIchelins and since this Cayenne Diesel is a highway cruiser not a mountain carver I'm very satisfied.

Replaced my old Perelli scorpion +2 Verde with these, big improvement no more wobble sound like a bad wheel bearing , Very smooth ride, low noise ,very stable steering , good price
