The Eagle F1 All Season is Goodyear's Ultra High Performance All Season tire, built for drivers of sports sedans, modern muscle cars, and performance coupes. It's designed to deliver the high speed traction and sharp handling enthusiasts expect in dry conditions, along with dependable grip and extended wear in rain, light snow, and other unpredictable weather.

Hankook Weatherflex GT callouts

A performance tuned, high silica compound is molded into an asymmetric five rib tread pattern that balances dry road precision with wet weather confidence. The closely spaced tread blocks of the central ribs provides sharp steering response and confident straight-line stability, while broad outboard tread blocks maximize road contact to enhance grip during aggressive cornering. Wide lateral notches and four circumferential grooves help evacuate water to resist hydroplaning, while sipes and biting edges throughout the tread enhance traction on slick surfaces, including ice and light snow.

Under the surface, a two ply polyester casing supports twin high strength steel belts, further reinforced by two polyamide cap plies for added stability at speed. The result blends lightweight construction with high speed capability and year round versatility.

Testing the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06(04:49)

Timing may be everything. Certainly in the Ultra High Performance All-Season category the timing was right for Continental when they launched the original ExtremeContact DWS. Six years later it's time for their next Ultra High Performance All-Season tire, the ExtremeContact DWS 06.

Does this new design offer more than just a strong family resemblance? We test it against three of the newest and top-performing tires in the category.

...Zero issues with hydro-planing or wet traction. At one point I was running around 50mph on a nearly 1" deep layer of water on an open flat highway and the ride was so smooth that I did not notice. These are the absolutely best wet traction tires I have ever owned. Bar none!!!!

I literally drove 64 miles this morning through Hurricane Helene. Zero issues with hydro-planing or wet traction. At one point I was running around 50mph on a nearly 1" deep layer of water on an open flat highway and the ride was so smooth that I did not notice. I promptly slowed down when I realized it. These are the absolutely best wet traction tires I have ever owned. Bar none!!!!

I’ve been very impressed. I don’t feel water on the road and they grip just as well as they do on dry pavement, there’s no “impact” when I hit standing water on the road and I haven’t experienced any hydroplaning. Road noise is nonexistent and comfort is on par with Toyo Open Country H/Ts, the Pirelli don’t have the width the Toyos do even though they are the same size but for the price I paid I’m happy with them. They handle beautifully, abrupt maneuvering is easy and confident. The white lettering is only visible when up close, the white scorpion looks like a sticker until you get close.

Purchase based on price and reviews, Tire does outstanding in the wet(we'll see as tread wears, if it continues)...

Purchase based on price and reviews, Tire does outstanding in the wet(we'll see as tread wears, if it continues) Tires are a little louder than my previous M/S tires, but this is an 07 yukon, not known for quiet ride or sound insulation, it's a truck, not a town car. Has nice highway manners, and for the price $150(clearance) it is an excellent value.

...Then the 2nd week we went from 80F to -3F windchill with a snowfall of about an inch that ended up turning to a thick layer of ice. Very cautiously drove a 20 mile round trip before the roads were plowed or salted and shocked that I didn't lose traction in a few areas where I would usually end up sliding. I drove carefully knowing some spots had previously been a problem, but I encountered zero sliding and safely made it back home...

Been driving on this tire for almost 2 weeks now. And with our weather the past 2 weeks I have encountered pretty much every condition because Missouri in Winter. First week normal sunny, dry condition and tires did great. My truck always has a pretty decent pull to the right even after having 3 alignments. After these tires were put on I have almost no pull to the right anymore and hadn't considered my other tires may have been making the condition worse, so I am delighted about this! So far I'm pretty impressed with these tires and was very pleased with the price. And of course, the fast shipping from Tire Rack is always on par with excellence.

...Dry traction makes my truck a canyon carver...

This is my second set. Dry traction makes my truck a canyon carver. Wet control inspires confidence. Quite adept on a dirt road be it firm or loose. I tried Geolander A/T in between and was shocked how poorly they matched up to the ATRs nor did I like the higher rolling resistance of the Geolander costing my 1.5mpg on the highway. I am not a rock crawler nor a poser and neither need nor want an aggressive appearing tire. I've got over 400,000 miles on my Sierra from the Texas Hill Country to the Colorado Rockies to the Mojave frequently carrying a load or pulling a trailer in all kinds of weather. From ranch roads to Interstates. I have had some occasions in snow when they were a bit slippery but nothing scary. I run them at 45psi and have even temps across the tread. A harder compound would last longer but wouldn't stick as well and if the tires don't stick you have no control.

Easy-peasy. Quick delivery. Same as my original tires. Good ride. Quiet. Comfy. I don't do a lot of "tough use" with the vehicle. Basically, I enjoy driving the F150 more than driving my Lincoln MKX and use the pickup as our vehicle if we are going somewhere. These tires are a good option for me.

Had Yokohama's but kept sidewall bubble's, had coopers but kept getting flats & ---- in sand, had BF Goodwrench but tread wear was not acceptable. Now with these and can't believe the ride comfort difference on the same truck i had these other 3 different brands on. It went from a 99 Ranger to a 70's Cadillac. I'v been helping my uncle move farm equipment, on thick grass with slight mud & yet to be stuck. If tread wear is good, no flats, or no bubble i will replace my other 2 trucks with Pirelli's. ...tell you the truth i want to replace them now even tho i know only 900mi of the life but in comfort alone it's worth it. If i wasn't in dept 17 thousand $ i would buy 8 Pirelli tire's right now. BELIEVE THAT.
