The Azenis RT660+ is Falken's Extreme Performance Summer tire developed for motorsports enthusiasts, participants in track days, or any driver looking for competition-ready levels of dry traction and handling. The Azenis RT660+ is designed to provide maximum performance in warm, dry to damp conditions, and like all Extreme Performance Summer tires, is not intended to be serviced, stored, nor driven in near-and below-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
The Azenis RT660+ builds off of the popular RT660 with several refinements, including better heat management, weight reduction and a larger contact patch to improve handling predictability. The track-tested motorsports-derived tread compound remains unchanged, beyond manufacturing improvements to enhance durability while still delivering superior traction for acceleration, braking, and handling in dry and wet conditions. The low-void, directional pattern maximizes the rubber in contact with the surface. Massive shoulders deliver extreme levels of lateral grip, and the broad, continuous center rib provides solid on-center feel and longitudinal traction for acceleration and braking. Deep, circumferential grooves and full-depth notches help evacuate water from the contact patch to enhance hydroplaning resistance.
The internal construction of the Azenis RT660+ features a two-ply, polyester casing utilizing Falken's Crosshatch Carcass design to enhance handling and stability. Two wide, steel belts support the tread area and are reinforced by a single polyamide cap plies to further improve handling and high-speed capability.
Note: Tires exposed to temperatures of 20 degrees F (-7 degrees C) or lower must be permitted to gradually return to temperatures of at least 40 degrees F (5 degrees C) for at least 24 hours before they are flexed in any manner, such as by adjusting inflation pressures, mounting them on wheels, or using them to support, roll or drive a vehicle.
Flexing of the specialized rubber compounds used in Extreme Performance Summer tires during cold-weather use can result in irreversible compound cracking. While compound cracking is not a warrantable condition because it occurs as the result of improper use or storage, tires exhibiting compound cracking must be replaced.

...Very confidence inspiring in the wet...
I like these enough to take the time to write a positive review. These have been so pleasantly good! The best combo of noise, handling, comfort and life span so far. And unfortunately, I've tried several options. This review applies across all weather conditions. Very confidence inspiring in the wet. Competent in snow. Longevity looks pretty good at 10 k. ...The day I put them on it was raining hard, and the ride to the shop (on the old tires-- where I couldn't drive the speed limit even b/c of how badly the back tires walked on the wet pavement) and the grip of the Pirelli's once I got the new tires mounted was night and day...
This car came with OEM Pirelli run flats, and I swapped them out for non-run flat tires (mainly b/c I thought the run flats were noisy). Mistake. The tires I purchased (Continentals) wore within the first year (<10,000 miles on them) and I was having trouble with hydroplaning within 14 months of purchase. It was getting unsafe, so I worked with an agent from Tire Rack and they recommended going back with Pirelli's and I chose the Scorpions. They're excellent. The day I put them on it was raining hard, and the ride to the shop (on the old tires-- where I couldn't drive the speed limit even b/c of how badly the back tires "walked" on the wet pavement) and the grip of the Pirelli's once I got the new tires mounted was night and day. The thing I notice most about the Pirelli's is the deeper tread depth and how quiet the ride is. I've only had them on the car for a few weeks, but so far, I'm very impressed and completely relieved to be rid of my old tires.

...Also, these have great traction in rain and light snow. They make the car feel connected to the road.
So, I can't speak to the longevity (although the warranty is quite generous for EV tires), but in everything initial with these they are outstanding!
The first thing I noticed was how much quieter they were than the previous tires (which came with the vehicle when I bought it used). They were extremely loud - to the point where I was a little concerned with just how much road noise there was inside the Tesla. Let's just say I am no longer concerned as these are QUIET! Silent? No, but very quiet YES.
Also, these have great traction in rain and light snow. They make the car feel connected to the road.

...Dry traction is fantastic and the grip is excellent in rain...
I installed these tires on my Tesla Model Y and I am very pleased with them after the first 1000 miles. Dry traction is fantastic and the grip is excellent in rain. The road noise is comparable to my original pirelli tires but these feel a bit softer, enabling a smoother and less bumpy ride. The one drawback of the improved grip is the ~0-5% reduction in range but I am very pleased with their performance so far.

...Haven't had time to test in winter conditions, but dry and wet are great...
The tire are replacements of previously installed Pirelli tires. Haven’t had time to test in winter conditions, but dry and wet are great. Slight noise when wet, but it is just the tire channeling away the water. The previous set only lasted 32000 miles so I’m hoping these last longer.

...Wet and dry traction are excellent, ride is comfortable and quit, and handling, especially turn in, is very good.
I replaced the factory Continental tires at 11,000 miles. Between the noise and handling issues they were not meeting my needs. I owned Pirelli tires on my last vehicle and really liked them. Wet and dry traction are excellent, ride is comfortable and quit, and handling, especially turn in, is very good.

I just had the tires put on my 2023 Tesla Y and put a couple of hundred miles, the tires ride comfortably, about the same ride as my previous Goodyear's, road noise is the same as well. I put over 41,000 miles on the Goodyear's and probably could have gone easily another 6,000+. But I did not want to risk driving through the rest of winter and spring with the possibility of snow and heavy rain, and putting the new tires on gives me and better sense of safety and security. FYI: My wife drives a 2026 Tesla Y and came with the same tires, the newer Tesla feels smoother and quieter with the same tires. Let's see how these do over the next few years on both cars. Note: I only rotated my previous tires once at 10,000 Miles with no noticeable uneven tread wear before changing them.
