The Dimax All Weather is Radar's Grand Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of sedans, coupes, station wagons, crossovers and SUVs looking for daily driving comfort combined with confident performance in dry, wet and light snow conditions. The Dimax All Weather is designed as an all-weather tire to meet industry severe snow service requirements qualifying for the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol alongside its all-season performance and is intended to function as a one-tire solution for drivers that experience all four seasons but don't receive sufficient snowfall to require a dedicated winter tire.

The Dimax All Weather utilizes a silica-enriched all-season tread compound molded into a V-Formation directional tread design engineered to deliver long-life and dry, wet and wintertime performance. Longitudinal dry grip is buoyed by alternating the center tread blocks for uninterrupted contact when accelerating or decelerating. The blocks are connected shoulder-to-shoulder with embedded support in the tread for ideal stiffness and cohesion to support precision steering. Aqueduct Grooves channel water away from the contact patch, to fight hydroplaning with the aid of circumferential grooves designed into the pattern. The sawtooth design of the central grooves, alongside the stepped design of the shoulder blocks, create traps for ideal snow-to-snow traction in winter weather while enabling stiffer tread blocks for excellent dry and wet performance.

Radar Dimax All Weather

Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

...Traction in wet conditions was excellent...

Just drove through curb-hiding snow. Tires maintained traction beyond expectations, only slipping momentarily in the worst spots. I'm wholly impressed.

Otherwise, there's a minor amount of squirm to them, especially when the weather is warmer, compared to the summer tires that were swapped. Traction in wet conditions was excellent. Traction on gravel/debris was as-expected.

I haven't paid attention to tread wear as much, but nothing egregious has been noted.

...It rained my entire trip back to Mississippi and the tires felt secure starting and stopping with no hint of hydroplaning.

Even though the tread is more aggressive than the stock tires, these were much quieter. The day after I put these on my Sienna AWD I drove to Ohio and woke up to 6 inches of snow. Had a great day "playing" on the roads while everyone else stayed home. It rained my entire trip back to Mississippi and the tires felt secure starting and stopping with no hint of hydroplaning.

Very comparable performance to mid-higher tier value all-season tires in dry and wet with noticeably better performance in wintery conditions. Think General RT-45, Michelin Defender, etc but better when roads get snowed/iced up.

When new rear had tendency to slide out at sharp steering, but this tendency diminished with wear and running slightly lower pressure on rear axle.

Basically you get 95% of Michelin Crossclimate2 performance for half the price. Good value choice when dedicated set of winter tires isn't an option.

Tires were installed with proper dot orientation and only took 1/4oz to balance

...Tires are excellent in snow and rain, and seem to be a good compromise for all-season use... since I live in the Cascade Mountain foothills and see snow annually, the snow rating is a bonus and these things are wicked in the snow - Mae me wish I had another 10" of ground clearance on the car, because it would be unstoppable for a 2-wheel/front wheel drive vehicle...

Responsive and surprisingly quiet, compared to OEM name-brand tires on my 2022 Bolt. Tires are excellent in snow and rain, and seem to be a good compromise for all-season use. I’ve seen zero difference in vehicle range, an if anything the Radar tire offers a less harsh ride, without compromising handling or braking performance. Price point is spot-on and since I live in the Cascade Mountain foothills and see snow annually, the snow rating is a bonus and these things are wicked in the snow - Mae me wish I had another 10” of ground clearance on the car, because it would be unstoppable for a 2-wheel/front wheel drive vehicle. I’d buy these again in a heartbeat over the OEM tire, made by a major manufacturer. Especially considering I could run two sets of these tires for the price of 4 of the OEM brand. The only downside: the Bolt doesn’t offer an onboard spare and the Radar Dimax isn’t lined with Slime, like the OEM. But for the difference in price and given the performance and value these tires offer, I’d definitely buy them again over OEM. Maybe carry a couple cans of Fix -a-flat, or even purchase AAA roadside cover for 5 years, an you’d still come out ahead.

...Dry traction/noise/etc are all pretty good from what I can tell.

Decent enough tires, good value for the price. Bought based on reviews, especially snow traction.

It's about average snow traction for an all-season tire, rather than above average, which I have experienced and was expecting. Not bad, not dangerous, just not impressive.

Dry traction/noise/etc are all pretty good from what I can tell.

...I have over 7,000 mi on them they've worn great and they still work just as good as the day that I bought them...

Overall I was very skeptical at first because it's a lower end tire that's budget friendly and severe weather rated but I have been super impressed with how well they do I have driven in dry traction I've driven in the rain I've driven in mud snow pretty much everything that you could drive in I have over 7,000 mi on them they've worn great and they still work just as good as the day that I bought them 100% would recommend it's a good quality tire that's budget friendly would 100% buy this tire again
